We go to the Shake Shack often but was very disappointed this visit. We ordered hamburgers and the meat had a metal taste. We told the waiter, but she said the owner said that he just ate one and it tasted ok. We asked to speak to the owner, who we know, waited 30 minutes and he never came out. TRY IT!! It's the price and feel of Sonic Drive-In, but taken back a couple of decades (and with much more added flavor). Their milkshakes are phenomenal, and I haven't had one I didn't like (but my favorite is the strawberry cheesecake milkshake). Their tots, fries, and CORN NUGGETS are some of the best around. Absolutely delicious shakes made with real ingredients. My peanut butter banana milkshake had bits of real banana and creamy peanut butter that had not blended perfectly into the shake. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for a bite after heading over to the Ocoee and Hiwassee River areas and I am sure glad we did! First thing I see being delivered out the door are these HUGE soft serve ice cream cones...things seemed to be piled nearly a foot high! This place is sort of like an old fashioned drive in diner with car hop service (but you can go in as well, we opted to stay in the car as we had the pooch in the back seat). Saw some outdoor seating as well. We had a burger and chicken strips and a couple of side (buffalo chips and corn nuggets). All of the food was good and the prices are not bad either. For dessert we asked about a small version of the soft serve cones and thankfully there was a small version but by no means was this skimpy in any way. Service was quick and they were packed. Looking forward to stopping in again the next time we make it over that way heading to the river again! read more

Stopped here one time. It will be my last! Sat on the inside dining area. My wife ordered two corn dogs and one mini burger for our kids, no fries. When the waitress brought our food, we received three orders of fries we did not order. Also when questioned about the price for a hamburger plate she did not have a clue. While the waitress was at our table my daughter who is 2 years old slipped and fell out of her seat onto the floor. No big deal, she cried a little got back into her seat and we brushed it off. No big ordeal was made of the situation. While the kids were finishing their ice cream the waiter brought our bill, I did not complain, and paid the $30 tab which included $8 we were charged for the fries we did not order. As we were about to leave the manager or maybe owner came to our table, pointed his finger at my daughter, and rudely demanded her to sit down in her seat. Then he made some remarks about his liability insurance and cowardly walked away, as I tried to confront him and apologize for any problem we had caused. Since there are no hi chairs or booster seats, she had to stand to reach the table, which led to her falling. I would advise you dine some other place. read more
