Food was decent for late night drive through, if it is the food you ordered. Ordered 4 items- double cheeseburger, hot dog, small fries, and a cherry shake. I gave my order twice. cookout is one of my favorite places to go to, I love the cheesy chicken quesadillas, I'm not here to complain about the food but I'm here to complain about the drive thru situation at 12 this noon, the line was out in the street, mind you there are TWO drive thru's and a walk-thru window. I was in line for 25 minutes and got tired of waiting so I drove into the second line cause it only had 1 car waiting, I sat there for 10 minutes, couldn't order my food, and had customers honking, the whole 35 minutes I was waiting the line moved ONCE. This super slow situation caused me to be late to my afternoon class being trapped in a stationary drive thru. The line wasn't JUST slow but didn't move that whole time. I'm not sure what was going on in the inside to cause the line to be stationary for half an hour but it was very inconvenient considering people have school and work to return back to. read more

Service was fast. Food was hot. The only thing that bother me was that they gave one napkin and it was dirty with juice stain. I didn't care for the shake, it didn't taste anything like a chocolate chip cheesecake. It had more chocolate flakes than anything ... where's the cheesecake. The food isn't as cheap as it used to be. The 5 dollar trays cost me 8 a piece this time. The chicken on the cajun chicken sandwich was thin and broken in two, but it had a nice flavor with a little heat. The portion size of all of the sides is small but tasty. Depending on the Management, People are Targeted to give up their Employment. Hours Cut beyond reason to stay. I have personally been sent home 5 days extremely early this week. The Management is Garbage. There Extream Amount of Drug Use, and Racial Bias. The drug Use is Your Either in Or your out. In my case I'm getting Put out from not participating or buying their drugs. Constant Targeting and Abuse with use of Racial And derogatory comments and it Keeps religious individuals like myself on edge within their work place. Military, Law Enforcement, and Individuals without Criminal intent are rushed out. It's not fun, and it isint fair. I'm disappointed. I've worked everyday extremely hard to earn my place within this company's employment. Now concerning I'm not a drug user, or someone to leave or walk out my hours are getting cut by management beyond reasonable reason to stay. I've given them the hard work they wanted and hired me for, and I'm left with empty pockets and the conflicts of struggling to make ends. As well as having to find another job. Sadly I've only been working there a little over two months and When I started there was employees running around doing heroin In The bathroom not even working. While the hard woking employees get sent home for leaving their station any. There constantly the golden few that never have to work. So I'd had a great experience at another location and had no worries about eating at this chain. Then I went to this location. (Cue scary music.) I can eat just about anything. This burger got tossed. It was basically a tiny lump of charred coal. The grilled onions? Well, there was the equivalent of an entire onion, but they'd never seen more heat than thirty seconds of microwaving, at best. The cheese was okay, at least! The milkshake was edible, at least. I did kind of expect the Reese's cup to be broken up good, even crushed...but no, they just broke those suckers in half and tossed them in. Plenty of them, at least. And service was sloooow. Tried Cook Out for the first time tonight. My advice, save your money or go to a Burger King. Burger was dry and tasteless and suffered from what I call Red Robin syndrome which is when you add ice cold lettuce and tomato to a Luke warm hamburger resulting in a cold hamburger. But the actual taste of the meal wasn't very good- dry chicken, not much sauce, and the chili side was very salty. I put it in the sandwich to even out the strong saltiness. Burgers are tasty and sides are glorious! But, the shakes are to die for! There are 40 flavors and they are all great! My favorite is the Blueberry Cheesecake, but I have sampled the many flavors that my sons have ordered. This is not a place to go to if you are on a diet (though to be fair, they may have salads on the menu). This is a place to go to for a great burger with the taste of being grilled outside. And the thing is, if you order what they call a "trey" - you can get one burger, two sides and a drink (slight up charge to get the shake), you are still likely paying less than you would at one of those national burger places. When me and my fiance ordered one day we had ordered 2 large cheese fries w/fajita seasoning, a burger, and 2 large sweet tea's. pulled up to the window to find a very rude blonde girl. She took our money and we waited for our food. When we finally got our food we had gotten the burger but got 2 large fries instead of the cheese fries i had asked for. Now i am 5 months pregnant so when my order is not right it will be fixed. I quickly turned around before she could shut the window in my face and told her it was supposed to be cheese fries. She takes the bag from me and proceeds to tell the cooks with the window open that "these stupid people are saying they wanted cheese fries" all they did was dump the fries into a plate and put one scoop of cheese on them. Every other time i have gotten cheese fries from there it has been piled full of fries with lots of cheese!! Very disappointed in the customer service from her. I wish i would have gotten her name!
