But I'm so glad she talked me into it. The entire experience was amazing. Our tour guide was awesome, the farm was beautiful, and learning about the coffee and farm-to-table process was fascinating. We also had the farm-to-table brunch, and the food was absolutely incredible fresh, delicious, and one of the highlights of the tour. I actually left wanting to go home, eat healthier, and start a garden! If you're in Maui, don't pass this one up. Great tour, amazing brunch, beautiful setting, and a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

We were really looking forward to visiting O'o Farm, but unfortunately our experience was…read moredisappointing, especially considering the cost. We paid for three full spots for myself, my husband, and my mom. Based on the description of a walking farm tour, we expected a more immersive experience moving through the farm and exploring. Instead, the tour felt much slower paced and involved a lot more standing and listening than we anticipated. Our guide also seemed to lose his train of thought several times, which made the pace feel even slower. We were traveling with our toddler, and once he started having a hard time with the pace, my husband and I took turns leaving the tour and sitting in the car with him so we would not disrupt the other guests. We were trying very hard to be considerate of everyone else while still getting as much out of the experience as we could. I went to speak with staff twice while we were there because I was clearly struggling and trying to figure out what our options were. When I asked about a partial refund, I was told that they expect families to be flexible. We were extremely flexible. We took turns missing parts of the tour, separated from each other, and ultimately left only when our toddler became so exhausted and upset that staying through the meal was no longer realistic. What disappointed me most was the lack of effort to help us find any kind of solution. We paid for three full experiences and ultimately missed the entire meal portion. We were not offered food to go, a chance to come back later for the meal, a rescheduled visit, a credit, or any other accommodation. I understand now that the meal is served in multiple courses and may not have been easy to package all at once, but none of that was explained to us while we were there and no alternative was suggested. I also don't think it should fall entirely on a distressed guest, who has already spent a significant amount of money, to come up with every possible way the business could help. A professional business could have offered several reasonable options, even if a refund was not possible. The customer service after the visit was also disappointing. I emailed afterward asking management to consider a partial refund and received no response. I had to send a second follow-up email simply to get an answer. Only then was I told that management had reviewed the situation and would not offer any partial refund, credit, rescheduling option, or other accommodation. Management's response emphasized that our family made the decision to leave. Of course we made the decision to leave -- our toddler was exhausted and extremely upset, and we did not want to ruin the experience for everyone else. That decision came after we had already spent a significant portion of the tour taking turns away from the group and after I had spoken with staff more than once trying to find a solution. I completely understand that businesses have policies and that traveling with a toddler comes with unpredictability. My disappointment is not about expecting special treatment. It is about the lack of customer service, flexibility, communication, or goodwill shown both during the experience and afterward. For the price of this experience, I expected better communication and more effort to find a reasonable solution. Having to reach out twice just to receive a response declining any accommodation only added to the disappointment. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled afterward left us with an even worse impression than the tour itself.

From the moment we stepped onboard, the service was incredible, the food and drinks were outstanding, and the boat itself is UNBELIEVABLE. But what really made this experience so special were the people behind it. You can tell immediately that sailing isn't just their job. It's their passion and their life. The captain was so personable and shared some amazing stories and life experiences with us. This man was BORN to sail. His wife and co-owner was just as wonderful, so friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. And the entire crew, including the chef, was phenomenal. The food was amazing, the drinks kept coming, and they made sure everyone onboard was taken care of from beginning to end. We've done boat excursions before, but this was on another level. It felt less like being on a tourist excursion and more like being welcomed aboard by people who genuinely love what they do.

We had the BEST time on the Sea Maui Sunset Cocktail Cruise! From the very beginning, the experience was wonderful. We called to book and spoke with Sunshine, who was exactly that -- an absolute ray of sunshine! She was so sweet, incredibly helpful, communicated everything clearly, and genuinely made us even more excited for the experience. When it was time to board, it was immediately clear that the crew knew exactly what they were doing. We visited during "hurricane" season, so the swells were definitely LARGE -- but that didn't stop us from having the time of our lives! Great music, amazing staff, fun fellow cruisers, drinks flowing, delicious food, and the most incredible Maui sunset. The vibes were absolutely immaculate from start to finish. Somewhere along the way, I also became the unofficial, official iPhone-ographer of the boat and ended up taking photos for sooo many people! One of my favorite things about the cruise was the crowd -- it was truly all ages, and ALL ages were awesome and an absolute pleasure to party with. We met so many genuinely nice people, including a group we clicked with so well that we decided to keep the night going afterward and ended up hanging out and doing karaoke together! That probably says everything you need to know about the fun, friendly, social atmosphere Sea Maui creates. We had such a great experience that I'm already excited to hopefully book a private charter with Sea Maui for our wedding welcome party next year! 10/10 experience. Highly recommend. Thank you, Sunshine and the entire Sea Maui crew for such a memorable evening! And enjoy the pics! Sea Maui, hit me up and I'll send you the rest -- I have HUNDREDS. :

I was especially impressed with how smoothly the equipment orientation went. Brian made learning the SNUBA setup incredibly easy, even for first-timers like us. My wife was a little hesitant at first--understandably nervous about trying something new--but Brian's calm, kind, and confident demeanor completely reassured her. His mix of laid-back friendliness and quiet authority made us feel safe and supported the whole time. Brian was also perfectly punctual and professional, yet approachable and relaxed. He struck that rare balance of being a great leader without ever making you feel rushed or pressured. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and wants everyone to enjoy the experience. Once we got in the water, we were blown away. The visibility was stunning, and the coral, tropical fish, and especially the sea turtles made it unforgettable. Swimming alongside those turtles was the highlight of our trip--something we'll never forget. Pro tip: Try to go on a day with low wind for the smoothest and most enjoyable experience. It really makes a difference! Highly recommend Shoreline Snuba and especially Brian--this is a Maui must-do!

My family and I did the chocolate factory tour, and it was such a fun and educational experience!…read moreThe owner actually gave us the tour himself, which made it feel really personal. I loved learning about the chocolate-making process and hearing about the differences between his factory and some of the well-known chocolate companies. During the tour, we got to sample the chocolate at different stages of the process. Every sample had its own distinct flavor, and they were all so good! After the tour, we got to try seven different chocolates, including flavors like coffee, mango, and sugar-free. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful compared to your typical Hershey bar. I can't wait to come back and do the farm tour next! Definitely recommend checking this place out if you love chocolate and want to learn more about how it's made.

You can cover a work boot in chocolate and I would eat it, I am not ashamed to say that I am a "Chocaholic" as well as a "Chocosaurus". We met up at their factory located In Lāhainā, fabulous store and open air seating area above their factory. Great modern design and decor and fully operated on solar and Tesla back up battery's. Staff is very friendly and helpful, but the gem of the operation is "Rissi" our guide. He was so knowledgeable of the operation and spoke so well of the growing process I could have listened to him all day and never got bored. He also integrated great things in about growing up on the island, the culture and his family background. Well done "Rissi" I wanna hang out with you. I learned so much about the plants, the natural growing methods Maui Chocolate uses and the process of refining Cocoa into chocolate. The tasting after the orchard tour was in a tree house above the orchards offering beautiful views of the orchard, views of Molokai and Lanai. Once you have tasted Maui Chocolate you won't eat anything else, you shouldn't because you are eating pure coco with only natural ingredients prepared the Maui Chocolate way. Do the tour, whether it's the factory tour or the orchard tour (I am a freak about gardening and growing) so I wanted to learn more about the trees and methods and I truly learned a lot about their natural growing methods. What really hit the heart most was Maui Chocolate donates 100% of it profits to charity, works with the community and also works with other countries on growing methods. Well done Maui Chocolate, you offer more than just chocolate goodness with your huge heart. And thank you "Rissi" for sharing your culture and history while taking care of business.
