This was my first visit to Dr. Javaheri and I was impressed! The office itself is very comfortable, making use of colors that are relaxing rather then the bright white or urine yellow some medical offices seem to prefer. I was warmly greeted when I entered the office. Because of that welcome I assumed the receptionist didn't remember I was using a Groupon. Well she did and it didn't matter. Often businesses seem to look on folks with discount promotions as an inconvenient pain taking advantage of an over stock situation. Definitely not the case here. My whole experience was first class. From the receptionist to the doctor to paying the bill, it was all friendly, courteous, and as if I had gone through a time warp when the customer was truly number one! Dr. Javaheri and his staff were there for me when I was let down by a previous surgeon. I spoke w Julie over the phone nearly hysterical and she got me an appointment w.i one hour to assist me. She helped me fill out paperwork and was nothing but kind and caring. You could tell she really cared and she stayed by my side until Dr.Javaheri was ready to see me. I bought a Groupon for one syringe of Juvederm XC. When the doctor came in he didn't even look at me. He didn't ask me what I wanted to achieve or how much juvederm I wanted in my lips. He started injecting quickly and very rough, which was much more painful than any other time I had previously done it. He kept going until I STOPPED him and asked to only have half of one syringe put in because I could already feel the swelling coming on. He laughed and said "most people do two syringes." I decided to not keep going along with the procedure because when I looked in the mirror my lips were insane looking. I looked like a duck/beat up real housewife of Orange County. I cried a lot looking at myself in the mirror for the next few days and began to bruise A LOT. I had to call in sick to work because I looked seriously injured. My lips were also very bumpy. I called the office to see if this was normal and they had me come in, which to be honest I wanted to never step foot in that place again. I went in and he said "yeah there's bruising you should ice it and eventually it will go away." No $hit ! On top of it I am a nurse and I know how the healing process works, but he ignored me and went on about how a hematoma (bruise) forms... Bottom line is he has horrible bedside manner and he is not a good doctor, your health is more important! DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Got a deal on Groupon for a photofacial. I've gotten this facial done 3 times in the past and loved the results every single time. My dark spots were significantly lighter if not gone. I went to Dr Javaheri's office as the dark spots were coming back (typical). After the session I didn't see the usual coffee grounds (dark spots coming to the surface) like I did before. I thought maybe it was a different machine. After a couple weeks I saw NO results. I thought maybe it was because the setting was too low. So I contacted them and they offered to do a complimentary session. I'm sad to say after the second session nothing has changed. The dark spot actually appears to be darker! I really wanted to like them since they were nice to offer the complimentary second session but I just don't think their machines are as effective. It's been more than a month now and the spot is still darker than it was. Nothing faded! read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I went to Dr. Javaheri because I was fed up with the long wait at my previous doctor's office. It was an absolute pleasure to discover on all three of my visits that the "wait" at Dr. Javaheri's was as long as it took for me to check in. We're talking a max of two minutes. He and his staff are delightful, down-to-earth people. It's obvious that they take pride in their work, and they make sure their clients feel special. Okay, I realize that sounds a bit cheesy, but it's true! The way they greeted me and how well they accommodated me made me feel like I was their only client. In addition to following up with me after my treatment and assuring me to come in if I wasn't completely satisfied, they fit me in immediately when I felt like I could use a little touch up. The office is staffed by true professionals - I had to change my appointment several times and the scheduling staff was accommodating and delightful to speak with. Jamra, the Nurse who administered by IPL facial took the time to explain everything that was going to happen during this Facial to me in DETAIL before she started. She took her time to ensure she covered every inch of my entire face. When finished she let me know what to expect to see on my face in the next several weeks and how to best care for my skin after the IPL. Dr. Shahin Javaheri is wonderful! He corrected an unsightly ear piercing scar on my teen daughter. She had had her ears pierced at a mall store, and unfortunately one of the piercings got infected and had to be allowed to close up. When it healed it created a long scar that she didn't want to carry through life. Dr. Javaheri said he could minimize it and he did. He was great with my daughter, keeping her calm, asking her questions about herself to keep her engaged, and explaining everything that he was doing. 5 stars! read more

He did a terrible job on my 7year old daughte, which was followed by severe infection, and he made us ta pack and unpack the site of her surgery for 5 months. finally another ENT did the correct surgery. Run away from this guy. Fast. Incompetent,unorganized, liar, nervous wreck. Does not know his limits as to what he can do or not. Horrible experience with my liposuction surgery, close to zero prep for surgery.Cut the preop appointment short to run home to babysit so his wife can go to her ladies night out. Day of surgery, he remembered that he had not asked for a blood test. Made me run to the lab at 6:30 in the morning with anesthesiologist and nurse waiting to get my blood drawn and then he told the lab technician multiple times that there is no need to wait for the results since this is just a formality. Surgery was done in less than 3 hours. Others need at least 6-8 hours for the same job. woke up to see doctor is gone with minimal instructions. also he had left half of my thighs undone. Just a quick note to say that the garment size was wrong, released me in an unstable condition, removed sutures 5 weeks later instead of 5 days later and even then left 5 out of 10 sutures behind, Has not the decency to say what he has done wrong( everything). I had to go through a correction surgery( by someone else of course,)to fix the mess he had left behind. That surgery took about 8 hours. I am not even getting into the details about the lies and rude behavior and so much more. Stay away. read more

However, after my surgery and the swelling went down, I was in shock! Nothing I had requested (and paid for) had been done. When I asked him about it, he said he thought it best to do something else. If you dislike some aspect of your appearance, I suggest you go to ANY OTHER surgeon. Dr. J. makes self-aggrandizing promises he simply lacks ability to perform. His former colleague, Dr. Corey Maas is excellent for any face procedure. Unfortunately, he does not perform body surgery. Dr. Chris Malone of Tucson performed corrective surgery on Dr. J.'s botched tummy tuck. Of course, this episode was a painful financial and psychological hardship. read more
