My journey started with an unsuccessful BBL due to not having enough fat. Being naturally thin, the fat that was transferred just didn't hold, and I felt really discouraged. I reached out to my navigator, Isaac at Lyon-Martin (shout out to Isaac!), and shared my frustrations. I told him that I really wanted the results I had envisioned and was hoping to explore body implants as a second option. At that time, there weren't any in-network surgeons offering implants for transgender women, so I felt stuck. I visited to Dr. Shahin Javaheri's office because I was struggling with the texture and discoloration of my skin. They recommended I do the erbium resurfacing and because of my dark skin color I was told this would be safer for my skin as opposed to cO2 resurfacing to address the tone and texture of my skin. As you can see just after one treatment my skin showed a lot of improvement. The dark spots look lighter, my pores are a lot smaller, and the acne scarring on my nose and chin are much smoother. In my profession I work with people a lot face to face. So this means a lot to me. I feel that my skin overall looks a lot smoother and vibrant. To Address the Reply from the Doctor's Office to my original Post: STOP TRYING TO GASLIGHT. I do not know who Jasmine is, but she was not involved or in the room during my pre-surgery talks with the doctor. Prior to my surgery- It was NEVER discussed with me about needing a neck lift and sagging of skin. I went to have lipo to remove a double chin. At no time did I think that my NECK was even going to be touched. If I had known that my neck was going to be involved and that banding and my submandibular gland showing was possible, I would not have had the lipo because I DID NOT have banding in my neck and my submandibular gland was not showing BEFORE the surgery. I do not have old people's skin. The liposuction made my neck look old. The whole reason for undergoing cosmetic surgery was to look better. If I had been given proper information and known possibilities, I would have either done NOTHING or done the neck lift to begin with. Unhappy is an understatement! I am Miserable. I hate taking pictures and I have to make sure to hold my head in a manner to minimize people seeing my neck. Most of the time I am camouflaging with a mask. Noone should end up looking like me after paying a lot of money for improvement. What was done to me should be criminal. No one would have imagined the result that I got was even possible. I followed EVERY instruction given to me before and after surgery. I do not have "scars". I have Banding and lumps. The revision should have been complimentary because the original surgery was botched. As I said, the revision did make a slight improvement, but I am still worse than before I came in. I would not pay any additional money to your office. I already paid a lot of money to end up looking worse than before I came in. I am now saving to have my neck fixed. I have also posted a before picture, after surgery pictures and and after revision picture. AND regarding the tummy tuck: I do not have compromised health, nor have I ever been a smoker. I passed every pre-surgery test that I was asked to take. read more

Dr. Javaheri was amazing! I went in for a consultation for breast augmentation and hip implants and he explained things so well. Took his time to answer all my questions and explained alternate procedures that could have great results with fewer risks. I ended up getting butt implants with liposuction and fat transfer to my hips. Dr. Javaheri shaped the implants to make my hips seem wider as well. Entrusting your face to someone can trigger anxiety; I had been thinking of a neck and lower facelift for a while, but had various doubts that held me back. I knew he was very skilled because I rarely got a bruise from his injections, and always looked a lot better afterwards So, a couple of months ago, I scheduled the surgery, in his San Francisco office, with local anesthetic. It was 2 weeks ago today, and I must say, although I am still healing, the results exceeded my expectations. I look like myself, I would say 20 years ago: neat jaw and chin line, no more "turkey neck or hollow cheeks. Bruises were gone 5 days ago, and I used very few painkillers. I went to Dr. Shahin Javaheri July, 2020 for hip implants and liposuction to my love handles. I initially flew to SF for my initial in-person consultation in 2019. Dr. Shahin assessed me and was confident he could get me the results I wanted. I had hip dips and wanted them gone. He told me with "100% certainty" he could fix my problem. Because he was so confident it made me feel confident that he was the right doctor for the job. He gave me his cell number and we exchanged a few texts regarding the upcoming surgery. In the text messages he's expressing his confidence in getting me great results. This made me feel good and happy that I would finally have the body of my dreams. Fast forward to July, 2020, I flew to SF for the procedure. His nurse and anesthesiologist were great. The surgery center was very clean, everyone was very professional and nice, including Dr. Javaheri. HOWEVER the outcome was a disaster. I spent $20,000 for hip implants + Lipo to my love handles. This price was just the quote and does not include the week long hotel stay, car rental and airfare traveling from the Midwest. When I got back to my hotel room after surgery I looked in the mirror and immediately was not happy with my results but told myself maybe it will take time for the implants to fall into place. My left implant was on my upper thigh and my right hip implant was sitting on my waist, literally. Although it looked a mess I told myself maybe it takes time to get in position. As time went on nothing changed. 2 years later my left implant folds over at my upper thigh area and sticks out-- I can put my fingers under the implant. It looks a mess. My right implant sits on my waist, literally looking like a tumor on my waist. It's so embarrassing and depressing to look at. I take a shower and put on my clothes refraining from looking in the mirror. I hate my body even more than I did before the procedure. I cry often and am so depressed about this. It's affected my life in every aspect. I am so self conscious x1000. I don't have sex. I don't go to the beach. I don't wear dresses. I don't wear tight clothes. I only wear long shirts to cover my deformed looking butt, and the list goes on. I spent my life savings (literally) on this procedure and came out disappointed. I reached out to the doctor about a year ago and was told "I would have to wait a few months to allow new scar tissue to form, then redo the producer placing a new implant under the new scar tissue". I really wish he would have told me this could have been an outcome beforehand, instead he made me believe that he could give me the results I was looking for. I now have to save more money, as a single mother, to fix this mess. I am completely disappointed and pissed. I am looking into talking to an attorney as well. Please do your research. read more

I didn't make any changes to my diet/exercise routine, and both pictures were taken at the same time of day without hormonal factors influencing either photo. Review The front desk were so professional and on top of it when I called to schedule and when I arrived for my appt. I wish I remembered the name of the nurse, but I was impressed with her knowledge and friendliness. This was my third IPL all by different providers this year. The first two times were with other providers and were pretty good, but I didn't know any better as to what kind of results could be achieved. They were superficial and didn't touch any of my problem spots, but brightened the overall tone of my skin. However, after my treatment here my largest sun/age spots slightly scabbed over and is now gone. I had accepted that I was going to have to live with it and did not expect it to disappear. I'm happy with the overall experience and results. So not all lasers are created equal and I will definitely be coming back. read more
