This seems quite extreme. A few weeks later I was diagnosed with C. Diff, which is a bacterial infection contracted from surgical procedures. I couldn't keep food down for weeks and lost over 12 pounds. After four rounds of antibiotics, I am back to normal finally. Now my hair has been falling out and my right breast has not healed properly. I intend to find another surgeon to correct his mistakes. Despite his credentials, I don't think he is qualified. Like others, I worry about why it took so long and everything that happened while I was out. On a separate note, I felt very uncomfortable with him pushing a specific, very expensive bra. If it were comfortable, I could understand but it is quite irritating fabric. When I asked for a different suggestion, he continued to push this bra. I believe he is getting kickbacks from this manufacturer.

Fast forward to this year, I read that Dr. Rajagopal was the number one Renuva provider in the country and her website stated that numbing cream was used. I was terrified of more pain but hopeful that this experience would be less painful. At this office, numbing cream was literally applied to my face for 30 minutes and then ice was applied afterwards. Although the injections were still painful, they were much more tolerable. Dr. Rajagopal has a gentle hand, a kind demeanor, and good aesthetic sense. I've seen four other different plastic surgeons but Dr. Rajagopal has given me the most faith in doctors. I wish that I had known about her earlier. I would definitely come here for Renuva injections or other treatments as needed. They are not inexpensive at 2500 for 3 cc. Dr. Rajagopal clearly cares about people and their comfort. This is very important as any surgery or injection is a stressful experience so bedside manners and genuine concern is priceless. The only odd thing was that I was presented the bill during numbing by a staff member. Payment is expected after treatment and I knew the cost beforehand so it was strange to get the bill during the middle of the procedure and then after the procedure again. I would have been happy to pay in advance if they are worried about people leaving without paying. In any case, the office staff was nice. There was easy and free private parking provided. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Rajagopal for her keen aesthetic eye and caring demeanor.

The doctor recommended a breast augmentation combined with a lift on the lower side to correct the asymmetry. The original quote was $9,500, but with the additional lift, the total cost increased to $13,000. I agreed to proceed, trusting the doctor's recommendation. Unfortunately, after the surgery, my breasts are still uneven -- one side remains higher and the other lower, with no real correction of the original issue. The only noticeable difference is that the size is larger. In addition, the incision around the areola was done unevenly and closed poorly, leaving very visible and unattractive scarring. After healing, I also developed a hard lump in the breast, which has caused ongoing pain. I have had to return for follow-up visits every 3 months, and to this day, the pain has not improved. This experience has been extremely disappointing -- not only financially, but also physically and emotionally. I trusted this doctor to fix an existing issue, but the outcome did not meet expectations and has caused further complications.
