I have had Dr. Bermudez do a few procedures on me in the past, but after my recent facelift experience, I will not be seeing him again. Dr. B. has a reputation for being conservative in his approach, which can be fine as you don't want to look overdone (i.e. like you permanently have a too-tight ponytail). But after spending in excess of $20k on my facelift, not only did it not look like I never had a facelift, I now had a head full of scars. His facelift approach was so conservative that, after healing, neither friends nor I could not tell the difference. Isn't the whole idea of a facelift that you're left with obvious improvement? I had specifically asked to have my naso-labial and marionette lines reduced, my jowls tightened so they would no longer be droopy, and my double chin reduced. Now I still have the lines, my jowls are not only still droopy but now they are uneven, and there was minimal difference to the "double chin" area. Additionally, in describing the surgery to me he never mentioned I would have a scar under my chin. But after my bandages came off I was horrified to discover there was a 1.5-2" scar there, and the sutures were not the nice, neat ones I would have expected from a cosmetic surgery; there were just a few widely-spaced sutures that left the skin puckered. The scar healed that way, and now almost 1.5 years later, the scar is still puckered and stands proud of the skin in such a way that it is visible when looking at me head on. (See photo.) When I saw Dr. B. in person and expressed my concerns he was dismissive of them. He stated he saw improvement in my face so as far as he was concerned, the surgery was successful. When I complained that he never told me about the under-chin incision he said I must have forgotten. (I myself am a medical professional and I would have remembered about something as significant as an additional facial scar.) When I complained about the very obvious chin scar, he stated (as he was standing above me while I was seated) that he could not see it. I feel that the facelift surgery he performed on me was a complete waste of a large amount of money, and his dismissive attitude towards my concerns means I will neither go back to him nor recommend him to any of my friends.

I am hesitant to write this review as I myself am a small business owner and value others in the same position. However, I feel it is important to share my experience with Dr. Bermudez, whom I hired to perform my 360 lipo, arms lipo, and fat transfer to my buttocks in November 2022, based on his positive reviews. Unfortunately, I missed one review with a one-star rating, and I ended up with a BOTCHED surgery. As a result, I have indentations on my stomach due to the garment and foam provided by his office, and it is not evident that I underwent lipo. See attached photos. As a gesture of good faith, Dr. Bermudez offered to perform a tummy tuck, but I would have to pay for the hospitalization. However, after consulting with several other plastic surgeons, I was advised against this as I didn't have enough excess skin to stretch, and a noticeable scar would be left behind. Furthermore, the recovery process would be much longer. The plastic surgeons who reviewed the operative report noted that not much fat was removed from the liposuction. Dr. Bermudez lacks compassion, he does not care about his patients and has a condescending and hot-tempered personality. Patients do not have access to him directly, and he never checks in on them. He simply takes your money and leaves you on your own. His staff is friendly but disorganized, and the instructions provided are confusing.

He was realistic and upfront about what limitations existed due to my facial anatomy, and what would be safe and flattering in the long term. I appreciate how personalized my consult felt, and that my surgical plan fit me rather than whatever nose is "trendy". Despite the significant changes made to my nose during my rhinoplasty, I didn't even bruise! I'm healing well, and I couldn't have asked for better results! I cannot stress enough how wonderful Dr. Ransom's team is. As someone who is usually a bit nervous with medical procedures, I really appreciate how empathetic and attentive his team is. Holly and Emily were very responsive and helpful with scheduling, notes, etc. Yesenia was amazing at answering all of my questions about my prescriptions and aftercare. I needed a blepharoplasty for my heavy eyelids and found Dr. Ransom on Yelp listed as an excellent, kind, friendly doctor. The consultation was great, Dr. Ransom listened to exactly what I wanted, assured me that not too much would be removed and was very kind. I felt like I was going to be in good hands. A woman at the office took me into another room, showed me some before and after pictures, (though I'm not sure she made note of which ones I liked), and I asked how long is the recovery time, she said "Oh just a week, you can have your procedure Monday and stitches removed Friday." Great, I took a week off. Monday, the day of procedure, before the procedure, we were in a room and Dr. Ransom was getting things together in a rush. I was surprised he didn't confirm what we talked about or go over what he about to do. So I said, "just a little off eyelids and subtle right?" He just said "right" as he was assembling things. I asked "can you please go over the procedure?" and he did. At the beginning of the procedure, his Assistant placed a slightly adhesive pad on the side of my belly, (to monitor my vitals during the procedure). He injected anesthetic around my right eye, then my left eye, (though I noted that he didn't inject/spend as much time injecting my left eye). The procedure was going well, I felt no pain as he starting on my right eye, (though it was unsettling that Dr. Ransom and his Assistant were having casual conversation while working on my eyes-I know he must have done this procedure hundreds of times before, but still - this is my face). Towards the end, Dr. Ransom spent a good amount of time with the stitches on my right eye, but when he started on my left eye, I really felt pain, said it really hurts and "Ow." I realized he must have run out of anesthetic in his syringe when he got to my left eye and just didn't bother to get another syringe. Instead of stopping to give me more anesthetic, he just kept saying, "we're almost done, we're almost done." After reeling from that, his Assistant proceeded to slowly tear off the adhesive pad on my belly, (which is slightly hairy), and I yelped "Ouch!" I was too caught off guard to tell him to just rip the pad off like a bandaid and the Assistant kept saying "sorry, sorry" as he continued to slowly tear off the pad. After I continued to say "ouch, ouch!", Dr. Ransom said, "Oh your little hairs." So in addition to being in pain, I'm now belittled. Feeling terrible from this, I got dressed, shuffled to the Receptionist and scheduled stitches to removed that Friday. Close to Friday, the Receptionist called me to say my appointment was moved to Monday. I said but I took this week off and have to go back to work Monday. She said the doctor said I would get better results if I waited a couple more days to have the stitches removed. It seemed like a lie because why did they have schedule the appt for Friday originally? Silence from her, implying there is nothing I can do about it. Following the appointment, to minimize scars, I was to have 3 small laser zaps at the ends of each eye, administered by the Assistant. I have deep horizontal creases at the ends of my eyes, (had them for a long time), and I asked the Assistant if there was a procedure to address those. He said maybe some filler can help with the "canyons." I had to laugh at the exaggeration and cruelty of the term. I looked at him when he said it and I honestly believe he wasn't trying to be mean, that really was the word that came to his mind. Although ultimately results of the blepharoplasty were perfect, due to the experiences above, I just can not bring myself to go back to that office. I do believe Dr. Ransom is kind, it just may be another situation of having too many clients lined up back-to-back.

Liz, the surgery coordinator, she was soooo helpful and so personable. We talked about the timeline of my surgery so I knew what I was expecting in the coming month. I even got to try one some fake breasts to see how it looked and felt on me. We talked about what I wanted my breast to look like. Dr.Sieber listened and make some points if I were to choose this/that decision. The day of the surgery... I was freaking nervous. This was the first major surgery I've done. Dr. Sieber assured me everything will be ok. He had a great team with him; so I knew I was in good hands. He did the dual-plane method to ensure my breast looked as natural as it can. After three previous…read morerhinoplasties and dealing with my overly crooked nose and deviated septum, I expected him to tell me--like other plastic surgeons had over the years--to leave my flawed nose alone. To my surprise, after his assistant took pictures from all angles and he examined my nose, he said he could help me and that I was a good candidate! Two months ago, I underwent revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Kim, and I'm extremely happy with the results. He guided me every step of the way regarding what to expect from the surgery. Firstly, he informed me that my nose would be swollen and appear "big" for several months and that it might take up to 1-2 years to settle into its expected shape. He also mentioned that some asymmetry would remain, but that it would be significantly improved. Even while still swollen, I can see a huge improvement, and I've already received compliments from three friends about my new nose. I can breathe better now and have less sinus discharge. Most importantly, I no longer feel self-conscious about my nose. Each day, it seems to be getting a bit smaller, which is exciting. The renditions he provided of what my new nose would look like closely match how my nose appeared right after surgery before the swelling began. I would recommend Dr. Kim to anyone unhappy with their nose. I only wish I had found him sooner.

He had the nerve to accuse me of having BDD and said 90% of his patients have BDD - when in reality he just didn't want to take fault for his lack of aesthetics. I do not recommend Dr Kim for revision rhinoplasty. I wish I had studied his before and afters longer and trusted my gut when his morph looked terrible. I've seen four other different plastic surgeons but Dr. Rajagopal has given me the most faith in doctors. I wish that I had known about her earlier. I would definitely come here for Renuva injections or other treatments as needed. They are not inexpensive at 2500 for 3 cc. Dr. Rajagopal clearly cares about people and their comfort. This is very important as any surgery or injection is a stressful experience so bedside manners and genuine concern is priceless. The only odd thing was that I was presented the bill during numbing by a staff member. Payment is expected after treatment and I knew the cost beforehand so it was strange to get the bill during the middle of the procedure and then after the procedure again. I would have been happy to pay in advance if they are worried about people leaving without paying. In any case, the office staff was nice. There was easy and free private parking provided.
