Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere! Found this place by accident looking for lunch. Food is great, and the service is wonderful!

We came on the weekend and it was very busy -- it took 10 minutes for our coffees and 20-30 minutes for our food. Keep in mind their brunch menu ends at 11:30. My morning-after sando ($16) was satisfying, with fried mortadella, scamorza cheese, and a fried sunny-side-up egg. The cortado ($4.75) was alright, though I found their beans a bit too dark for my taste. We also got a pistachio matcha cake ($6.5) for sharing. It was good, moist and not too sweet yet clearly showcasing both matcha and pistachio. Something that bothers me is their lack of consistency. Our table ordered the same item, yet all three looked very different -- my eggs were more cooked while my friend's were yolkier, her bread looked untoasted, and even the mortadella came out with varying degrees of doneness. It makes me wonder if the taste will vary depending on the cook, or when you visit. The indoor seatings were quite loud and always filled with people queuing and waiting for their drinks so I'd recommend getting seats outside if weather permits.

Inside, it was very busy and there was a 30 minute if you wanted anything ordered from the kitchen. I just got a coffee to go and I think everyone behind the counter was just trying to get everything done so didn't find the people to be the friendliest. Cute vintage car decor and cute cups. Great place to hang out but wouldn't be my top choice for food and drinks.

A very cute spot by the water! We were looking for a place…read morefor some tea, and happened to stop by at this local shop. We ordered the saffron tea and bought some baklava as well. The tea was delicious and the baklava was nice and soft. Although small and limited seating, it was a very unique place as it is filled with Turkish and middle eastern cultural pieces.

And two weeks after i went to buy it again it was for $16.5!!!!!!!! It is a fruit purée that they import from Iran and just pack it in their own bags with their logos.I didn't buy it and told the seller that it is not fair, just in two weeks you almost doubled the price!!!! She was just an employee so she didn't know what to say and said it is because of the sanctions Iran is facing now,but It is not true. The sanction is affecting the goods's price in Iran because of the DOLLAR value which is stable for us. Anyway I bought the same brand from another Persian super market(same amount) $5.5. I will not recommend this shop and i will not buy anything from them anymore. I am truly sad that the people who were disappointed about the unfairness in Iran is doing the same here. Hope they can reflect on their way.

Back here again. I had to drop someone off at Horseshoe Bay early in the morning and decided to…read moretreat myself to a breakfast sandwich here on my way back. The one that my daughter had raved about. I had that with a Coconut Matcha. Both of them were super yummy! I can see why my daughter loves that breakfast sandwich so much. They had a different flavor of quiche from the one I had tried the first time we came here and that looked very appealing as well. I hope they'll have it again whenever next we make it back here together. The eggin my sandwich was so fluffy. My Coconut Matcha was very impressive too. I loved how I could taste the flavors of both the Coconut and that Matcha. Neither one was too overwhelming. They had the same Thai Iced Tea and Passionfruit Lemonade that they had last time, so I am guessing that their feature drinks rotate on a monthly basis. They have so many other interesting things that you can buy and take home in addition to the foods that you can eat right then and there. Lots of interesting frozen meals such as soups, stews, mac n cheese, lasagna and sheperd's pie. They even have Vegetarian options for the lasagna and sheperd's pie. Outside of frozen meals, they've got interesting condiments and sauces you can buy, and their Honey Chai which is on the drink menu seems to be available for purchase. It comes in a jar and looks like some kind of thick honey-like consistency that you stir with some hot water and/or milk I would assume. Basically, they sell lots of stuff that you could take home and keep in your pantry. I guess that's why they call this place The Modern Pantry! Really starting to fall in love with this place.

I'm still thinking about that apple oat cake... and yes, I went back for the iced matcha twice in one week. The con: no plugs. The only available charging ports were usb ports so I couldn't charge my laptop. Food 5/5 Parking 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Service 4/5 (the first time I visited I only got a matcha iced latte so the service was good. The second time I visited I got an iced matcha latte, a cake, and a sandwich. I got my iced matcha and the cake within 5-10 minutes but they forgot my sandwich. I thought they were warming it up and since they suddenly got busy I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But after 20-25 minutes I noticed no one was behind the counter anymore. I went and inquired about my sandwich and they said they likely forgot. She apologized and warmed up my sandwich and brought it to my table. The individual taking my order seemed new so maybe he forgot to take it out of the fridge to warm it up. )
