Iced Oat Latte, warm African Bread Pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, yummy!
Nina R.

Ordered an Iced Oat Milk Latte and a slice of the Shaghf African Pudding which was like a slice of vanilla type cake with a sweet syrup distributed throughout the slice) served warm, which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Service was very polite and friendly. Atmosphere is elegant and relaxing. I linked up to the available wifi, however- unfortunately it did not work for myself and 2 other ppl. Great shop in the neighborhood. I will return.

Incredible interior design. Great for spending time with friends or for getting work done. The service is quick with online kiosks to order from as well. I tried their popular, iced pistachio latte. I loved how they added actual pistachio pieces and the pistachio paste was a little creamy. Definitely in one of the top 2-3 best pistachio lattes I've had. The menu is big so there's a lot more to try!

Shagf tart and African pudding

Very cute cafe with incredible looking croffles. Ended up getting the tart and African pudding named after the cafe and they were very tasty. We went late at night so staff were relatively laid back and left us alone. They unfortunately didn't exactly know what had nuts and what didn't but we made do.

Beautiful interior! I went at a recommendation online. If I lived closer, I'd love to sit and work in the peaceful, modern ambiance. I got the pistachio frappe and wanted a crossoint too, but two small items at a cafe for $18 was more than I could justify. The $9 frappe was good, but tiny and not quite the value I'd repeat order. I'm sure the other menu items are good too, albeit pricy!

This cute cafe is located in Halstead Square in Fairfax, near the Mosaic District and Dunn Loring Station. They have a great selection of lattes and desserts to choose from. I ordered the pistachio latte . it was sweet with a subtle nutty flavor My friend got the Nutella croffle and a date latte, and she enjoyed both. There's street parking and a garage nearby, which makes it easy to visit. Prices are a bit on the higher side for the portion sizes, but the cafe is clean and inviting.

We've been trying out various coffee shops around us and Shaghf Cafe was a fun find. Nice atmosphere and a good selection of coffees and sweets. The coffee was tasty and the brownie bites were very sweet. My only comment is that their self order menu system faces the window and is very difficult to read as a result.

Delicious coffee and pastries! I had the Karak coffee, it was on point and Pistachio Croissant had a sweet, creamy pistachio filling. Nice ambiance and plenty of seating.

I got the Biscoff croffle and I also got a Mexican latte and both were so good. I felt like I ate the Craffle so fast because it was so good. I felt like these kind of desserts you only get in Europe, so it was very nice to see that these existed near my house. It was a very cute coffee shop and it was really quiet and there's so much seating in there. I've been here a few times now to meet friends and it's a really nice place to come even to study because it's so quiet. The service is also very good. They always have something free whether that be samples or dates during Ramadan

Come prepared with a sweet tooth, because you're about to consume a lot of sugar! I got the African pudding based on recommendations I saw online and I wasn't sure how sweet it was going to be so I ended up getting karak tea to mitigate some of the sweetness. It paid off because the dessert comes with ice cream and if I had gotten one of the sweet lattes it would have been way too sweet for me. My husband got the shaghf tart and a pistachio latte and they were both individually good, but the tart had a level of sweetness that I couldn't handle. He has a big sweet tooth and enjoyed it. They also have a fruit tart that is not in the display box, I might try that next time and probably pair it with a less sweet drink again. You order up front and they call your name, it was just one person working so things took a while, but it wasn't his fault. The inside decorations were similar to an upscale hotel vibe with Arabic music playing in the background and I really liked it. The seats were also comfortable which was nice.

Brownie Frappe and Lotus Frappe

First of all, I absolutely love the aesthetic in the cafe, it feels very chill and a good place to catch up with friends. There is plenty of seating available too! We ordered on the kiosk, and got our drinks probably after 5 minutes. I loved how the drink came in a soda can, I thought that was really cute. I got the Lotus Frappe and I thought it was pretty good. It was the perfect amount of creaminess, yet I could taste the coffee and the Biscoff sauce inside was yummy. Would definitely visit again if I am in the area!

Intro: So I been on a cafe trend where I have been trying all the middle eastern cafe and this one has been on the list, happy to say it was great! Decor: this the probably the strongest part of this place, it's so warm and comfortable yet trendy. I would come here just to chill and vibe. Food Breakdown: So it's drinks and dessert. Sadly I got here at closing so I didn't get a drink otherwise I would be up for hours Lmaoo. But I got the brownie bites and mannnnn it was so good. Don't get me wrong it's veryyyyy sweet and I am glad I shared it with someone but totally worth the price and would get it again. Portion Size: really happy with this size and price. Especially since after eating it I felt very content. However I do wish they made it little less sweet. Service: nothing bad to say as I ordered on the tablet and they just called my name 5 min later to tell me it's ready. But text notifications system they have is really nice plus. Price: These cafe at typically all priced similarly so I think it's fine. Would I go Back: For sure, I am really excited to try the drinks and love the containers they come in.

Shaghf tart

The Shaghf tart was divine! It was like a warm pecan pie with melted cookie butter on top. It was perfectly sweet and the crumbly texture was great! I also got the white matcha crack, which is supposed to mimic the viral crackle coffee, but mine sadly did not crackle like it's supposed to. I wish the chocolate wasn't hardened at the bottom, but the matcha tasted great and I could tell the ingredients are high-quality. The pistachio latte tasted good, but I didn't care for the large pistachio chunks. Street parking right outside the cafe is hard to find, unless you park at a garage a bit further away. Not a huge issue, but something to keep in mind. The interior was elegant and posh and the service was pretty quick. The prices are a bit steep, but I would come back for the tart and enjoyed my time here!

Tiramisu latte

The only 2 hot drinks without caffeine: pistachio latte and hot chocolate. Pistachio latte: taste like thick pistachio milk. It does taste authentic and nutty, not like the fake flavored type. Comes out very hot and I did not get the extra hot option. I would get this again although it is pricy. Tiramisu latte: very pretty but very sweet.

Delivery review ahead…read more I was craving a really good breakfast sandwich and this place delivered just that! When I talk about quality sandwiches, Semicolon cafe wins! The packaging was handled with care so both of my sandwiches arrived nice and hot. I ordered the B.E.L.T and a grilled cheese. The B.E.L.T was a conversation starter, the bread was buttery and smooth-melts right in your mouth after each bite. The egg with corn, never tried that combo but honey, it was fantastic!!!! The bacon was quite generous and prepared with the perfect crisp and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, complementing the sandwich. The sauce on top was a shining star! So much flavor spread evenly throughout the sandwich. My boyfriend loved his grilled cheese sandwich which came with bacon and spinach. Definitely glad that I found this place! I'll order again and this time I want to try their lattes.

It's simple, really good and one of those easy sandwiches to grab when you're in a time crunch. Parking can definitely be hit or miss since it's one of those retail spots tucked into an apartment community, which seems to be super common here in Falls Church. I also tried the chocolate bingsoo once, but unfortunately by the time it got to me it was pretty melted. I'd be willing to give it another try though, especially if I'm picking up my food in person next time. The couple of times I've gone, the lady working behind the counter has been very nice and helpful in her recommendations. Overall, it's a small, quaint little spot with plenty of outdoor seating, which would be really nice on a good weather day. I'll definitely keep coming back for that grilled cheese.

The first time I tried their dulce de leche latte it was good, however this place is really inconsistent - similar to Dolcezza since they are the same company and make the same coffee drinks. It really depends on the barista making your drink. I wish they didn't treat me negatively for asking for a remake when their drink was made 99% of milk lol. They should put less milk and more coffee. I'm doubtful I'll try them again as the latte quality being mostly milk makes the cost of a $10 latte (yes their lattes cost that much!) not worthwhile. These are my takeaways: 1) lower your latte prices 2) work on consistency 3) improve your service, customers shouldn't be stared at or judged for wanting a remake when their drink was made poorly. It's appears to be a Middle Eastern owned establishment, but their service is not very friendly and given how stressful it is being in there with the crowds, this is an area they definitely could improve on.
