I see a cleaner lady! think perfect she must've went in and cleaned it! NOPE ‍ first one we went into blood? or poop? was all over the toilet! okay! so I have to move my toddler back and tell her no! then the next 2! not any better toilet paper all over the seat! the floor it was disgusting. so we literally just left looked around the store part for a moment still felt grossed out left and immediately used hand sanitizer in the car. now! this being said I've closed places before so I don't blame the morning shift lady at all. but closing! are you serious? that was horrible! it was gross and honestly a healthy hazzard. I will say the one in La was so amazing that's what made us want to go back. I just doubt I will ever do it again in DC.

She has a variety of bath and body products, jewelry, candles, t-shirts and hats (most with the logo Black Excellence), and other little trinkets and accessories all made by local DMV artists and curators...AMAZING!! Her personable nature and through knowledge about each items was fantastic...and I look forward to purchasing from her in near future, particularly the sugar scrubs and shea butters. Passionate vendors getting a start or needing a place to greet the public and promote their foods and provisions serve mostly the tennis players, neighborhood walkers, and nearby office workers who stroll by. During my visit, vendors were offering Alaskan salmon flown in freshly, fish dip, pie, lavender lemonade, empanadas, doggie biscuits, and a few others things while hearing some live music. Plenty of people were snacking on benches on the hill after grabbing something from the market, while tennis players were also practicing on the courts nearby.

But what I got was a complete disappointment. The kunafa was extremely dry and tasted like it wasn't freshly made, and the cheese didn't taste fresh either, it had that "been sitting" flavor. The texture was off, not warm or soft the way kunafa should be, and it honestly tasted stale. On top of that, the coffee portions are very small for the price. For what you're charging, I expected a bigger cup and better quality overall. The experience didn't match the hype or the pricing, and I left feeling like I wasted my money. I'm not happy with this visit and I won't be coming back.
