I was in Tysons and decided to stop by. I was surprised that it was literally just a truck; no parking lot and nowhere to sit outside. I had to circle the gas station a couple of times to figure out where to park. I wish they had better/bigger space with actual parking. And tables/benches to sit and eat there if you wanted to. I had about a 20 minute drive home and it the dessert wasn't as hot of course. But it was still good! I got the fusion with Nutella.

Second time's a charm! We stopped by for a late-night snack and had the grand kunafa -- so good. The cheese was perfectly gooey and paired really well with the pistachio. Definitely coming back to try the Nutella one next time

Food truck in Tysons behind the Shell gas station near Joon. There is a good amount of parking. Service: I spoke to the 2 young men helping him whom I think maybe the owners. They are super friendly and told me they actually shipped the cheese in. They wanted to make the kanafe as authentic as they can. I even saw them hand out some water to customers that were enjoying their desserts. Food: even before I got my dessert, the customers eating next to the truck was like "It's SO GOOD!" And another customer came with a friend and told him "This is the best I've had anywhere and I've had a lot" So they had paid customers hyping their product up... and the verdict: DELICIOUS. I got the crispy version which was golden goodness that is irresistible. I know I will be back for their original! Guys you gotta stop by and get some amazing desserts here.

I fell in love with Kunafe / kunafa / knafeh in Istanbul after trying one from Chef Dogan who was born in Antakya, Southern Turkey, near the Syrian border. No matter how you spell it or pronounce it, you have to eat it. This dessert is made with spun pastry dough cooked crispy, on top of mild cheese and soaked in a sweet, sugar-based syrup topped with pistachios. The Kunafa Truck brings the real deal to the DMV. How authentic is it? Very. The owner, a great guy named Mo, originally from Jordan, had the food trailer made in Dubai, outfitted it in Jordan with traditional revolving gas stove tops, and shipped it to the US. Different regions have their own variations. This version is Jordanian and Palestinian known as Knafeh Nabulseyeh (from Nablus). He even imports the famous Nabulsi cheese (a wonderful, mild, white brined cheese). Don't miss this.

Different dessert experience! Delicious.... Crispy, cheesy, sweet! Go for the original with pistachios

This is hands down the BEST kunafa I've had in the U.S. Fresh, hot, and absolutely addicting! The Kunafa Truck in Tysons Corner is a hidden gem that delivers true Middle Eastern flavor with a modern twist. You can watch them make it fresh right in front of you, which only adds to the experience. The kunafa is perfectly crispy on the outside, filled with warm, gooey cheese on the inside, and topped with just the right amount of fragrant syrup. I went for the classic with crushed pistachios--chef's kiss! They also have options like Nutella if you want to switch it up. The guys working there are super friendly and efficient, even when there's a long line (which there often is--because it's THAT good). The vibe is fun and energetic, especially in the evenings. If you're near Tysons Corner and craving something sweet, this is a MUST-TRY. I promise you, one bite and you'll be hooked! Located next to the Shell station on Leesburg Pike--easy to find, and worth the drive.

OMG don't sleep on this kunafa truck! We pull up on a Saturday afternoon and there's about a dozen people waiting, all Mediterranean and middle eastern, which is a good sign. Scan the QR code for the menu but I already studied it lol! Placed my order, crispy grand kunafa for one, since it's only for me. Took about 15 mins but you get it nice and hot! With an extra portion of sugar syrup! Couldn't wait so I took a bite and it was heaven!

WOW! Finally! Freshly made Kunafa in the DMV! This is such a wonderful idea. Ramadan is the perfect time to have this truck. The Kunafa staff are the sweetest just like their deliciously made kunafa. Line does get long however they are able to make multiple kunafas at once. They offer different sizes and flavors. Kunafa is best eaten warm/hot. Best of luck and hope a storefront opens soon.

Omg absolutely delicious. Never head it before and I saw it on korean TV show ... Lol and luckily there is spot in DMV. Dessert can't be any nicer than this

Original Pistachio kunafa Very good sweet, crunchy, and nutty

The dessert they have here are very good i personally recommend the fusion & original. I tried the DC variant but it was a complete miss (IMO) the filling had grits like texture and just wasn't good. Everything else though a definite 9/10! Must try!! They make it fresh so expect to wait around 10 mins, nonetheless it's worth every bite

Delicious colorful vibrant soft serve! I've been here countless times with my kids! The purple Ube…read moreice cream and green coconutty Pandan ice cream twist is our favorite and love topping it off with Oreo crumbles or sprinkles, and let's not forget the Ube wafers and Taikayi waffle cones! The flavors rotate seasonally with different combo twist flavors and there's now a Mini 6 oz option as well as the 9 oz classic option with unlimited toppings! There are interesting seasonal flavors that are fun to try: - Honey Dew & Guava Cheesecake Twist - The summer flavor and sweetness of the honey dew complemented the exotic guava cheesecake flavor. - Peach Honey Goat Cheese - My favorite summer! The unique flavor is complex with a bit sweetness and a touch of savory. You can taste all of the ingredients. - Sakura: The pink cherry spring flavor wasn't that sweet and a bit tangy. - Kyoto Taro Cheesecake: A great combo of Taro and Matcha Cheesecake twist that's not too sweet and flavorful Ube Cheesecake flavor - A bit bland with a subtle cheesecake flavor. - Watermelon Basil - Fun flavor to try and tastes like a sour watermelon jollyrancher. It pairs well with the Peach Honey Goat Cheese flavor. - Black Sesame - Grey, savory flavor with a hint of bitterness. - Cookies and Cream flavor is a bit bland. - Classic Ube & Pandan Twist: I always resort back to my favorite default sweet and coconutty flavor. The Taikayi waffle cones are delicious. As the stuffed Taikyai is quite decadent, getting it hollow without any filling is the best way to go with the ice cream. Any type of filling with the ice cream becomes overload of sweetness. The Wicked Pandan Float (from the glass cooler) was delicious with layers of green coconut Pandan cheesecake custard pudding on a bed of Oreo Crumbs drizzled with salted caramel dulche leche. All of the flavors pair well together. I wasn't a fan of the Ube Dulce Leche or the Ube Oreo Floater. The Ube custard was a bit bland and didn't like the jelly topping. Skip the floats in the cooler and head straight to order the ice cream! Personally just prefer the drinks here, and the customer service is also really good. If you're someone who likes boba or coffee after dinner, I'd highly suggest this place as they have everything from regular coffee/espresso drinks to unique kinds of lattes, and my personal favorite, the Adeni Chai latte. Also there's different types of cakes/desserts that go together perfectly with your drink. Highly suggest the basbousa if you are trying something -- it's perfectly light, yummy, but not too sweet. While it's not super huge, it's still a good size and I often see people in here studying or families gathering to have tea. The ambiance is very welcoming. So overall, I have to rate it as a great cafe. We will obviously be back.

I ordered a simple latte with oat milk, and it was really good. I didn't order the one with spices. Maybe next time! I also asked for it in a mug, which made it extra special. The Lotus Tres Leches cake was a great companion to the coffee, not too sweet. I've also tried the Honey comb cake, and the honey cake, which are not bad at all! I also love how spacious this location is. There's a front and back seating area with the coffee bar in the middle, lots of seats, and the shop is nicely decorated. There's plenty of parking, but it can get tricky during peak hours since it's in a strip mall with lots of restaurants and other shops. Perfect spot to relax, enjoy coffee, and take in the cozy, thoughtfully designed space!
