Great friendly service , huge variety in their offerings. My favorite were the cookies and lemon cake , I will definitely go back to try a mangonada, tres leches y paletas.

This is the sweetest little bakery. They make all of the baked goods on site and everything is fantastic... They are Latin style, pastries, and cookies, as well as cakes, like Tres, leches and bread pudding. My very favorite though, is a mango slushy with fresh mango and tajin- it's called a mangonada. The best!

Cute little Mexican bakery in the same shopping plaza as Taco Bamba. It smells amazing when you walk in and the girls that work here are so sweet! They even have chocolate flan which I'm excited to try. If you've never has Mexican pastries before, I recommend you try. The sweetness is subtle, but not overwhelming.

Excellent selection of things to choose from. Way better selection than a panaderia. I'll be back in the future.

There's some parking available right outside, and despite living in McLean for several years, I hadn't realized there's actually a food hall in the building. That alone makes it a decent option for teleworking or a casual stop. As for the food--it reminded me quite a bit of Paris Baguette. Cakes seemed slightly more expensive, while pastries were more in line price-wise. I tried a jalapeño cheese croissant, a garlic butter bun, spinach egg bites, and a tiramisu iced coffee. The croissant was just okay, but the garlic butter bun stood out--nicely balanced between salty and sweet, and definitely the highlight. The egg bites were comparable to Starbucks; honestly, it's hard to say which is better, but Starbucks might have the edge in both portion size and price. The tiramisu iced coffee leaned too sweet--my partner especially felt it was a bit overdone. Ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would I come back? Probably to try the cakes. Otherwise, it's not a place I'd rush back to--but still worth checking out once.

Prices range from $40-60. - cookies: not my favorite - tarts: just okay - everything Dubai is overpriced and overrated. Not good! - caramel chocolate cake is amazing! 2. Sandwich and other savory items are excellent. My favorite is the tuna sandwich. 3. Service: 3 stars at best. Told me that they'll bring my order to my table and never did. Waited so long and had to go inquire. Then says sorry we forgot. We were the only customers, how could they forget?? Best to grab and go but not stay.

Dal Grano - Pasta with Puttanesca - very good and light

I found pappardelle at Dal Grano's once and that says all you need to know. Papardelle are wide,…read moresoft, flat pasta noodles that I first had in Rome decades ago. Growing up Italian stateside, I never knew about this light, wavy pasta dish. So pappardelle pasta is like some rare delicacy and I love it. This pasta dish is not easy to find unless it has been popularized in the Italian dining scene, recently. How can I explain this pasta? Papardelle are not thick like butter noodles, but instead they are thin yet wide. And at Dal Grano's, they must be experienced to be savoured. Do call ahead, because they might just have them made. Dal Grano's is a neighborhood place. We love how when you are dining, they actually talk to you and are friendly. There are a few other places around Mclean proper which I wish were more overtly warm and hospitable, in this way. All of Dal Grano's pasta is homemade and delicious. It's definitely great for carryout pasta or a diner-style environment with a homemade pasta lunch or dinner. I don't think they deliver or work with any of the delivery services. You just call and pickup. The butternut squash ravioli is tender and flavorful. We have probably have gotten different versions of their ravioli every time. Outside of the papardelle, I'm all in for their rich squid ink pasta when it's made. I don't go there enough to know if it's always available. They have over 50 homemade pasta combinations to choose from and a big freezer case of food to take home. My biggest issue with Dal Grano's is when I see all of the pastas in the serving bowls presented to order and cook, I want to buy them all at once. I know it sounds tacky, but they make me yearn for a pasta buffet there just so that I can taste all of the variations. Alas, if we were in town more we'd just need to go more often to taste all of their selection. There's only one other restaurant that does Italian this well and it's around 15 minutes away in Falls Church. But even that fabulous Italian restaurant does not compare with the amount and selection of homemade pastas at Dal Grano's.

Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. I went with the All'amatriciana with sausage mixed in, and wow is all I can say. My plate was completely empty in short time it was that good. I would definitely come back here multiple times to try the different options.

The white glove service, super crisp clean and whimsical ambiance, mixed with an array of interesting treats made for an incredible experience. There were many people having a girls day, out with their daughters, and even having high tea as a family. Even if you don't know anything about tea, the servers there are super knowledgeable and will guide you through the process. Starting with the hand towel (so cool!) you begin feeling relaxed and refreshed. I chose to start off with the Gen Maicha, which had a delightful popcorn taste I couldn't get enough of! For my cocktail, I chose a simple bubby rose', but my friends said their cherry blossom flavored tea inspired cocktail was amazing. As you can see, they did not cut any corners with the high tea treats, which ranged from savory to sweet. The peppery pink spread for the scone was one of my favorites. The playfulness of the colors, perfection of the shapes, and subtle but perfect flavors all engaged the senses. I cannot wait to return. For the price point, this high tea was incredible. I highly recommend!

It's nice. Out of all the things we ordered, my favorite was the Waygu meatloaf and the least is the waffle. I don't recommend ordering any type of waffles, it came out cold and even though they replaced it, it just got cold and hard quick, it was not good. I really enjoyed their tea! Felt bougie for the day and burned a hole in my wallet but it was well worth the experience. Definitely need to try at least once.

The flavors are seasonal with a couple of flavors and a swirl option. While the 9 oz indulgent ice cream topped with delicious Taiyaki waffle cone is worth $10.5, the 6 oz Mini for $6.5 (without the taiyaki) is my pick with a heap of toppings to choose from (the crispy purple wafer is my favorite! While the toppings were fun to try, it can be a bit of an overload, and just get a wafer or two. The Grinch Campfire with swirls of Ube and Pandan flavors was a great pairing! The Pandan flavor has a bold coconut flavor, while the Ube tastes has a more subtle sweet flavor. The Ube Cookies and Cream swirl is a great pairing as well! The server was amazing (she politely asked not for her face to not be photographed). She generously and thoughtfully gave us (kids and I) a heap of toppings with 3 of each - Oreos, Pocky Sticks, and Wafers - so we could all enjoy the toppings individually without sharing them. She telepathically read my mind! Taiyaki fresh soft waffle cone filled with Ube custard was delicious - thanks in due part to the wonderful server who made a fresh waffle cone. I appreciate the extra effort, she easily could have given us a stale Taiyaki from the 20 or so sitting inside the display case. Just the Taiyaki itself is a dessert. While the Taiyaki sometimes look stale, I see servers making fresh ones throughout the day. There are deals going on. so be on the look out! I opted in the text messaging and only paid $1.50 for a Mini ice cream during a special that was running. Excited to come back!
