Everything looked well stocked though and I came in the late afternoon. Ordering was simple and the staff was nice. I tried the Blueberry Chiffon Cake slice. Love the packaging and it tasted pretty good. I love it when there is fresh fruit on desserts. It wasn't dry nor super moist, held its shape well. There's a decent selection of various desserts and other baked goods like curry croquette, pizza, cakes, etc. I didn't try the coffee or drinks in the fridge this time but I like that they have a little coffee bar area to add cream or milk yourself. There's also merch. What I didn't like was I saw little gnats flying around the pastries even though the glass casing was closed. And the desserts are definitely a case of looks better than it tastes. The donut was way too sweet and sugary, without much coffee flavor. The cream inside made me feel weird after eating it. I think next time we'll just get the 6 mini croissants without filling (I didn't even realize the donut had filling which kind of ruined it). The top icing was ok. I visited this Paris Baguette bakery inside H-Mart Fairfax after having breakfast nearby, and it turned out to be a great decision. The iced vanilla macchiato was perfect--strong coffee with a subtle vanilla flavor and sweetness. The staff made the coffee drink with just enough simple syrup to make it perfect for me. I also enjoyed some pastries with red beans and cream topped with icing sugar, which satisfied my sweet craving and paired well with my coffee. Probably my least favorite Paris Baguette location. It is inside the H Mart and it's a small location with only one avenue to walk. The seating area is basically the same as a food court so the ambiance isn't there for a coffee shop. As for a to go order, it took longer than expected on getting a coffee. I didn't get any desserts, but this place seems to be for the sole purpose of grab and go for bread and cakes. I saw a bunch of people grab cakes to go. For me, my experience was a bit subpar since I was trying to order something off the menu, but the person at the register didn't understand me. I ended up changing my order just to move things along. Also, I was approached by a homeless person on my way inside and some people from church singing on a speaker. Not your average visit to a coffee shop. read more

I bought a cake for my birthday on Thanksgiving this year, and the cake was HORRIBLE! When I checked the cake at home, the cake was kinda already fallen in appearance. When I cut the cake, I saw no layers. It was just piles of sliced strawberries, which was why the cake looked crooked and sunken outside. And creams at the top were also mixed with little dust everywhere that it was disgusting. I've been getting cakes from this location every year and never had such problem but this year I was so disappointed and this is UNACCEPTABLE!!! It was disgusting and ruined my Thanksgiving & birthday. They've also raised their price by a lot for cakes that I feel scammed to pay $37 for this. I will never visit again and DO NOT recommend to anyone!!!! I liked the sticky milk buns! Just the right amount of sweet. My hands did get very sticky from it and I forgot to grab napkins. But no regrets, would eat it again, worth the mess. The sausage bread was okay. I liked the bread but nothing really special about the sausage. A bit plain. Service is always good when I'm here. Very nice people. Since it's COVID-19 time, all baked goods are wrapped individually or behind a glass case, in which you can ask for assistance. Speciality cakes are available towards the cashier. They offer a variety of Korean baked goods. The cashier was very kind and wrapped our goodies neatly. The quality of their baked goods is just as good at this location. Not a handicap or wheel chair friendly location. The grocery store management here do their best to block access to the bakery by roping off and blocking many passageways with palette of water bottles. The grocery even designed their shelves like a maze when you first come in. There's no separate access to the bakery, but to go through the entire grocery store. It's very inconvenient and I don't recommend bringing someone immobile (older parents) and handicaps inside this location. read more

I was craving some blueberry deliciousness and my husband got this blueberry ribbon cake from Paris baguette. I do bake myself at home,so I do have a little bit higher standards for baking goods. Decor style: stunning and neatly done 10/10 Taste: 6.5/10 Let me explain, the cake taste like a blueberry muffin. It doesn't have any blueberry preserve/cream/jam. It does have the cream layer, and it is delicious. However, the cake itself doesn't have the actual berry flavor. There are few berries on the top as decorations. I am updating to 1 star because of repeated issues with their uber eats or doordash orders that they refuse to resolve. I have reached out to their contact form on the website which I don't know if it goes to their corporate office or just gets forwarded to the store location itself. Uber eats and doordash also have not done anything about the problem. There have been numerous incidents where instead of cancelling my item and refunding it, they replaced with a different item and still charged me the same amount. I never authorized them to do anything like that, and the first time it happened I told them not to do it again. Back around the summer time they had a Pistachio latte and cold drink available. I ordered that in the largest size, and literally 70% of the cup was full with ice. It's basically pointless ordering something like that. I ordered a Perricone orange juice because I had never seen or tried that brand of orange juice before, and thought it may be a fresh squeezed orange juice. They apparently didnt have it in stock, so instead of refunding it they decided to send me a horizon chocolate milk and Izze sparkling juice. I ordered a croissant donut which I think is a high demand, or low supply item. Instead of canceling and refunding, they sent me a cream cheese almond pastry. It was something I had already tried before and had no interest in trying again. Finally, their menu on uber eats had a new item, a new York cheesecake slice. Normally they only offer souffle cheesecake which has a small amount of cheesecake topped on a spongy yellow cake. The cheese part of the souffle cheesecake may also be different than the cream cheese or other cheese normally used on cheesecakes. By this point, they had on several occasions made mistakes in prior orders. I ordered the NY cheesecake slice, and they sent me what Im pretty sure what was a soufflé cheesecake slice. It was really bad and I had to throw most of it away. Once again I had no response from their corporate office or uber eats or anyone. Their food is very good, and I think it is higher quality than other dessert shops, but you absolutely should not order food delivery from this place. At this point, I basically had money stolen from me, since they constantly charged me for random replacement items I had no interest in, and never authorized purchasing. Yes its true that an Izze and chocolate milk have some similarities to orange juice, a cream cheese pastry has some similarities to a croissant donut, a souffle cheesecake has some similarities to NY Cheesecake. It doesnt mean you can force people to buy those items from you. All businesses on doordash and uber eats have the option to cancel items and issue refunds for out of stock items without cancelling the entire order. They don't know how to properly process doordash/uber eats orders, or they know how to, but just don't want to lose the sale and will give replacement items even when they aren't authorized. read more

There is a Pb coming to the building that houses my parking lot in Tysons, so I was excited to see this inside the HMart food court. I have done the research and saw that this is a Korean started/owned bakery chain. I SO HOPE that the great Korean pastries will also be found at my new PB as they are here. Along with the French and American too. Salads and slices looked so great. At 6.30 on a Saturday they had most selections in stock. Can't wait for my new one. A few people of other races are working here too, but it's nice to see more ethnicities in the work force. Today I even heard someone sing John Denver's Country Roads. I have been a fan of Paris Baguette for years (I got my birthday cake from them last year and it was amazing) but my experience at the brand new H-Mart was lackluster. I eat with my eyes so it took all of my willpower to not take one of everything in the pastry case on my tray. From egg tarts to croissants to doughnuts to mini cakes everything looked delicious! I went with a box of mini croissants, a cream cheese doughnut and a red bean doughnut and dug in. Unfortunately every single item I tried was lackluster. They were rock hard after sitting out all day and the cream cheese/red bean filling was a tiny dried up smear on the inside. I'm wondering if I came on a bad day but unfortunately I was just not impressed with this location. read more
