Came here for lunch as it was a good deal. Server was fast and took drink, broth, and meat orders. Meat came out fast and then waited for the broth. Server came often to check up on us. Lots of self-serve veggies and other options to choose from. A good selection of meat as well. Definitely worth the price for lunch! Highly recommend!

Friday February 27, 2026 first time, coming here. Plenty parking. Wait time 5 minutes. AYCE lunch is $22.99. You have 90 minutes from start to finish. Broth 5 to choose from. Appetizers 4 to choose from. Protein 6 to choose from. Not too many different choices to choose from. But, still good. Easier to make your choices. Plenty different vegetables and other things to choose from. Service is fast. Food is good. Ambiance is casual and comfortable inside. We will come back again. When the weather is cold is perfect to come here. To warm you up and to fill you up at the same time.

We signed in at the front and waited for approximately 2 minutes for a table of two to open up. Service is quick, Items are fresh, Beers come out quick, Personal pots for eating. You order the meats to the table, everything else like noodles, vegetables and sauces are all up at the buffet. We were helped by "Anna" today, who was very helpful with us as first timers. All items are fresh and lunch special was great. Wifey got an adult capri sun drink with alcohol, and she raved about it. Will definitely be back.

Good Oahu spot for premium Shabu Shabu. $30.99 per person gets you unlimited portions of everything! There is a solid meat selection, comprised of various beef cuts, as well as some pork and chicken. I personally went with different types of beef and it was great. It's so thin-sliced, that you throw it into your boiling broth and it's ready for you within a minute. You could tell by the taste that the meat was high quality. Most beef cuts were melting in my mouth, especially when dipped in the wild, elaborate sauce combination that I created at the sauce station. To accompany the meat that's being brought to your table, there is a huge self-serve bar that offers a rich variety of veggies and a solid selection of raw seafood with the likes of blue crab, shrimp, baby octopus, mussels and swai fish. I personally loaded up on bok choy -- a huge a fan of its texture and taste once boiled. The sauce station consists of around 8 kinds of dipping sauces, different in taste and its thickness. A few dudes in front of me operated like pros, so I got an advice for some good sauce combinations and it was great! After I fully set myself up at the table with all the veggies, the meats and those dipping sauces, everything else was a breeze. The broths by the way, were outstanding and rich in flavor. My wife went with the original and I tried the spicy miso. Overall, a very good experience. The food was very tasty, the place was modern and clean and the customer service from our waitress was phenomenal. I will definitely take note and will come back here when I'm in Oahu again!

This was my first time here and it was great. The workers are very accommodating and helpful. We were seated at a wobbly table so the server helped us move. 8 meats are allowed per round so that was helpful. The server explained appetizers, drinks and rice would all be served through him and the seafood, noodles and veggies are a help yourself buffet spread. The 90 min time allowance was perfect for my group of 3 and everyone was really happy with their choices. Gratuity is added for groups of 6 or more and I would definitely return!

Tonight was disappointing. To start, the server rushed our order for broth and meat, and said that we'd get waters shortly and another would come to take drink orders, which never happened. One of the burners wasn't working at our table, but to their credit they provided a portable burner shortly after I told them. We received our rounds of meat in decent time, but towards the end we had to wait quite a while with empty trays for the server to take another meat order. This was also my mother's birthday, which I let the server know in the beginning. Later, he did bring it up along with the bill to discreetly ask for her name, but to my surprise, after paying the bill and finishing up, no birthday cheer. To rub salt in the wound, they cheered for another table's birthday while our table was getting cleared out by another worker. Can't even remember their name because the nametags have some hashtag and phrase. Good job guys, ruined my parent's birthday dinner. Thanks!

I come to Shabuya at least once a week because it never disappoints. The ingredients are always fresh, the meat quality is great, and even though the place is always busy, it's spacious enough that it doesn't feel overwhelming. My favorite parts are the little touches -- the chewy Korean-style corn, the pumpkin, and especially the way you can finish your meal with a bubbling pot of kimchi, glass noodles, and half a pack of ramen. It's absolute comfort food and tastes amazing every single time. The only downside? You definitely leave with the smell of hotpot on your clothes But honestly, it's worth it. Highly recommend if you love shabu shabu and want a satisfying, consistent meal every time!

Shabuya is such a great AYCE hot pot spot for a reasonable price! Just keep in mind that the price varies depending on whether you go for lunch or dinner and on weekends. When you're first seated, you get to choose your broth, order any appetizers, and Mae your first selections of meat. My go-to is the original broth and wagyu. After that, you can visit the self-serve areas which include seafood, noodles, veggies, kimchee, a sauce bar, and more. This is always one of my favorite places to visit whenever I'm home in Hawaii. This time around we had such a great server. She cleared our finished plates quickly so the table never felt too crowded, and my water was always refilled. Everything in the self-serve area was clean, organized, and well stocked while we were there. It made the whole experience really enjoyable. Highly recommend if you love AYCE and hot pot!

This is definitely worth a 4.5/5. We recommend getting on the wait, right here on Yelp before arriving! It'll definitely be busy but once you're in the speed of service is amazing! The vibes range from casual to a little dressy depending on the occasion you're celebrating. The food was so good and you get appetizers included in all you can eat. The portions you get are great and would recommend. The price is good for all that you get and emphasis and what you CAN eat!

Shabuya absolutely blew us away. It's hands-down the best hot pot experience we've ever had. Every single ingredient--from the vegetables to the noodles to the dipping sauces--was incredibly fresh, but the real standout was the meat quality. The cuts were beautifully marbled, tender, and full of flavor, making every bite rich and satisfying. We also loved the setup of the booth. It felt comfortable, spacious, and perfect for settling in and enjoying a long, delicious meal. The broth options were fantastic, and everything cooked up beautifully. You can tell they take real pride in the ingredients they serve. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we can come back. Service was very good. Our waitress was very attentive. There is a time limit.

During the stormy week, me and my partner wanted to get something hearty and hot. Decided Shabuya is a great place for AYCE for lunch! Can you go wrong for $22 pp for lunch AYCE ?! Meat selection is limited but satisfies the crave for meat. Veggie Station is abundant and staff refills quick when it runs low. Seafood station is always stocked, did not see any option empty for my duration of the meal. Sauce Bar is also good compared to other Hotpot places, love their Sesame Sauce, I use bowls worth every time I go. Service is super standard, which is not a bad thing. you can always expect it to be casual, no more and no less haha, can't expect much when they're turning the tables like crazy, speed is efficiency for them. Also had 1 of each of their apps which is good, but they premake it so it comes out quicker, but also lowers quality of dish, can't have both at an AYCE. Can't really complain about anything really. Be aware, they usually had a have list 90% of the day, so join waitlist early on yelp and check in when you're near top 5. Great selections (for lunch) Speedy service Good flavors Spacious Interior

This review is for the service. The food was great, fresh and lots of seafood to choose from. I arrived half an hour before the dinner rush, which was nice. We got seated right away. The gentleman assigned to our table didn't seem too enthused so we made our order and never asked for anything more. He never came around to refill the broth, water, nor asked if we were doing ok. We felt like he was rushing us to leave. The restaurant wasn't full so it's not because people were waiting on our table. I used my debit card to pay for the bill on the handheld machine. It was defaulted to 20% tip. I was like seriously? I decided to be nice and do my part and give him the 20% tip. Lawd knows he really didn't deserve it with us.

I enjoyed lunch with my daughter and family today on a rainy Monday afternoon. It's good that they participate in the Yelp waitlist feature, because it seemed that everyone had the same idea. My daughter had signed up on the wait list and when we arrived, there were about 15 people waiting outside and several more inside, out of the drizzling rain. We checked in and were seated within about 5 minutes of getting there. They had a high chair for my 16 month old granddaughter, and we got started in on the feast. The ambiance is pretty lively, with dance music pumping thru their speakers. The AYCE lunch is currently $22.99 and is a bargain, even at the slightly higher price. The menu offerings are a trimmed down version of the dinner menu, without some of the more "premium" meats, but all the meats are still of high quality. Since you cook your own shabushabu at the table, you can pick any, or all of the ingredients at the "buffet" line to add, while the server brings the meats to the table. It's a huge variety of veggies, seafood (white shrimp, clams, swai fish pieces, mussels), noodles and other goodies. They limit you to 8 plates of meats at a time, but since it's AYCE, you can continue to order as soon as you finish. The only issue we had was that our server took a long while to check back with us. We had to wait to reorder, and to even get refills of water. I don't know if, or what the time limit is (I think 2 hours?), but it could become an issue on busy days like today if there's a lag in getting served. In any case, the food is good quality, and with the sauces they offer, you can customize the taste just to your liking. We all left with full bellies and I must apologize for the mess left by my granddaughter.

We had everything: vegetable platter, seafood platter ( we asked for no shrimp), Wagyu meat selections and kurobota pork. There's even ice cream for dessert. Probably the only negative comment I have is that the rice was running low, as well as the ice cream lol. Nothing bad here! Just ask your server and you will have most of your dishes replenished. Please note: The seafood platter does not get refilled. There is a drink station, condiment station and so much more. Service is fast and efficient here. Dishes will be removed from your table and you can keep ordering more dishes from the AYCE menu! Bathrooms are located just outside the entrance, to the left as you exit the inside door. Ask for the code to gain entry. *What is AAPI mean? Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, is celebrated every May in the United States. AAPI month honors the histories, cultures, and contributions of people with roots in Asia and the Pacific Islands. It recognizes the integral role AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander) communities play in American history and society. Key Aspects of AAPI Heritage Month: Significance of May: The month was selected to commemorate two key historical events: the arrival of the first Japanese immigrants on May 7, 1843, and the completion of the transcontinental railroad on May 10, 1869, which was built largely by Chinese immigrants. Definition of AAPI: The term encompasses a diverse group, including individuals with ancestry from East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the Pacific Islands of Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia. History of the Celebration: Initially established as a week-long celebration in 1978, it was expanded to the full month of May in 1992 to provide greater recognition of the community's impact. Purpose: The month is used to celebrate, reflect, and educate the public on the diverse cultures, achievements, and contributions of AAPI communities, as well as their experiences with immigration and identity. Resources for learning and observing the month are available from the Library of Congress and the National Park Service. Thank you Wikipedia, AAPI, Google, and other government resources for the collective information above. Enjoy!

Hawaiʻi Pot Shabu Shabu is hands down one of the best AYCE hot pot spots on the island!…read more The food was fantastic -- all-you-can-eat snow crab alone is already a win, but add in fresh ribeye, lamb, and plenty of other quality meats, and it's next level. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepped, perfect for hot pot lovers. What really stood out was the sauce bar -- tons of options plus clear recipe instructions, so whether you're a hot pot pro or a first-timer, you can build the perfect sauce every time. The restaurant itself is very clean, well-organized, and efficiently run, which makes the whole AYCE experience smooth and enjoyable without feeling chaotic. Parking is easy with Walmart parking available, which is always a huge plus. Great food, great setup, and great value. Will absolutely be back -- highly recommend if you're craving hot pot done right!

You first order what type of shiru (or soup base) you want, then select what type of shaved meat (beef, pork, &/or chicken breast). You then go and get your desired sauces from the buffet table and also any additional food dishes from the refrigerator. You also can get stuff on the conveyor belt too. The service is fast and efficient. They are very attentive and bring what you ordered right away. The ambiance is great. If you go when they first open, it's empty. But it fills up and gets crowded as you approach noon time for lunch hours. Never went for dinner just yet, but I assume it would've the same. Go here if you are craving hot pot & want an awesome experience!

If you come with a big appetite, you might spend more than you would at AYCE, but the meats and vegetables here are very high quality. The broths that we tried were all very tasty - the Chinese Sauerkraut Soup is very unique - definitely sour but not unpleasantly so. The spicy soups have a strong mala flavor that will make your tongue and lips numb, but be careful, the "Hale Medium Spicy Soup" is already pretty spicy, and the "Hale Spicy Soup" is very spicy! Everyone gets their own pot and soup here, so you can order to your own spice level. We got a half yard of the beef toro which was nice and fatty as well as a half yard of the beef shank which was much leaner. Ordering both gave a nice balance between the meats. The seafood and vegetable sets are also well thought out, but you can always order individual items if you don't want everything in the set. There is no sauce bar - your soup comes with a choice of dipping sauce instead. It's usually not too crowded and the service is friendly and efficient. Their weekday deals are pretty nice as well, definitely take advantage of those if you're looking for a weeknight dinner!

I had to keep readjusting the levels, because my broth actually overflowed from the heat. My mom's burner turned off. The canister was out of gas and they had to put a new one in. The broths are $5.99 per person. Two people got the chicken broth, one the sauerkraut and I got the satay. The broths were a bit salty and mine was thick. Maybe that's why it boiled over. We came on a Tuesday and got a good deal. We purchased a yard of short rib $39.99 and got a yard of beef toro for free. It was BOGO free yard of meat mix and match. We shared the S1 seafood with shrimp, fish fillet, abalone and squid $19.99 and the V2 vegetable with cabbage, broccoli, chrysanthemum greens and spinach $9.99. We also got the V6 glass noodles and sweet potato noodles $9.99. I will say that everything was extremely fresh and on point. The food was really good, especially with the sweet sesame dipping sauce. The service was also great. While I really liked this hotpot place, it wasn't my favorite.

We also had the Mushroom Broth and it delicious. You can definitely taste the chicken broth. The protein portion is generous for the price. The vegetables and noodles are fresh. I really like hot pot style, you can customize your meal according to your taste. The service was outstanding and the wonderful lady was always refilling our water. Small dining area, but maximize the space without feeling cramp. My only complaint was the air exhaust on the ceiling that look like mold. Not a good look. Hopefully the owner can take care of that soon.

Hot Pot Heaven in McCully Shopping Center understands the assignment. This is not an…read moreall-you-can-eat place, and it is not pretending otherwise. You pick your broth and meats up front, then head to the refrigerators in back for the rest, which makes the whole meal feel more practical than theatrical. The room is no-frills, the service is solid without being especially warm, and the BYOB policy fits the place better than any design effort would have The draw is still the broth. The beef broth really does drink like pho broth, and the restaurant's own menu more or less admits that by calling it a favorite for pho lovers. The tom yum has real sharpness and stays lively through the meal. The meat selection is broader than the room suggests, with ribeye, short rib, lamb, pork belly, pork shoulder, tripe, and tendon all on the menu. The vegetable and noodle selection is also better than average: bok choy, choi sum, ong choy, watercress, taro, lotus root, bamboo shoot, enoki, king oyster, fresh saimin, udon, glass noodle, vermicelli, and pho noodle, among others What holds it at 4 stars is that the math can get a little awkward. It is not expensive plate by plate, but somehow the total often lands near all-you-can-eat territory, except without the same range. Although if you were to ask my wife, this a solid 5 star place. Still, that misses why people come here. This place feels built around broth first, not abundance for its own sake, and that makes it easier to forgive a sauce station that is merely fine and a service style that does the job without much flourish
