I came here 3 years ago when they first opened and didn't have a yelp page. I returned here and was glad to see them still here. This restaurant is attached to Azure condominiums. They serve classic Korean food with simplicity. The service is always quick and friendly. I tried the seafood kalguksu. It wasn't the best I had, but after eating hawaiian food for a week, it really hit the spot and fulfilled my korean food craving. The restaurant is small and has many takeout orders. Very close to Ala Moana mall.

Amazing service & food!! We were greeted and seated right away! We ordered the Kimchi Seafood Pancake, Cold Buckwheat Noodles with side Kalbi, and Yukgaejang. It came with banchan (kimchi & onions/daikon). We honestly ordered way more than we could eat, but that just meant leftovers for another day. The kalbi was worth it to add on! The Kimchi Seafood Pancake was delicious and the sauce was a little salty so I didn't put too much on it and it was so good! We'll definitely be back!

Parking is available in the Azure Building on Keeaumoku St. We wanted to try someplace new to us. We've been on a hunt for places that are small and intimate that are not too pretentious. Ireh Restaurant is very welcoming and warm. We were shown a table near the window and were told away from the air conditioning. The menu is simple and enough choices to make it difficult for us to choose. We decided on a soup and rice plate and chose Yukgaejang aka Hangover soup and Bulgogi Bibimbap. The soup was good and the Bibimbap was good. My dining partner asked where the beef was? I agree, they could have used a bit more. Overall we enjoyed our meal and will return.

Really love the rice cake and mandoo soup. It's a bit of a small place but there's hardly any people there. The service was great. They gave us some tea and water when we first walked in. The food came out fast and was delicious. Another great Korean restaurant to go to in Hawaii

This was my first time visiting the "new" location on Keeammoku and I really enjoyed it! As of right now parking is free in the building and it's super easy to get down to the businesses. Inside the restaurant was very nice and modern. It wasn't too busy around 7pm on a Wednesday night so we were seated immediately. We ordered the tteokbokki with cheese, kimchee fried rice, and the spicy buckwheat noodle and kalbi combo. The spicy noodles were perfectly seasoned with a nice kick. The Kalbi ended up being my favorite for the night as it was well marinated and very tender! The tteokbokki was also very tasty and the kimchee fried rice was as well. I'd definitely go back again when I'm craving a comforting korean meal.

Ireh is one of my go to restaurants! I've been here many times, the service is amazing and the food is even better. I absolutely love the chicken jook, it's such a comforting meal. Their other dishes are also amazing!

I have been to Ireh countless times, ever since their original location on Keeaumoku St. Their food has always been consistently good. The service is friendly and pretty attentive. The space within the establishment is clean but also homey. My partner and I usually always get the meat jun and seafood pancake, with another item that changes dependent on the visit. We usually get heir Yaekjang but we decided to try their cheesy pork tteokkbokki as I was craving it. Unfortunately, it was just not for my taste. When we were ordering, I asked our waiter if the base of this tteokkbokki has everything that the other dishes have (fishcake, veggies, tteok, egg, etc) and he was able confirm that. However when we started to eat, we realized that it was missing fishcake and egg. I didn't want to be bothersome but it definitely didn't help with the experience. It was very flavorful but I do feel like the pork was really fatty and didn't pair well with everything. I would say, if you're craving tteokkbokki, the cheese may not be the way to go. I feel that cheesy tteokkbokki would be better with a rose, creamy base. Our kimchi also tasted off this day we visited, my partner suspects that they added rice wine in the ingredients of the kimchi, which created a "chemically" aftertaste. Although this experience doesn't dimmish the spot that ireh was occupied in my heart, it definitely falters it just a bit.

Darn. Had to drive around few times and asking two parking attendants at the nearby business. It is so easy after the fact. 1st floor of the nice hotel. Park at the multi story garage and down to 1st. Super clean restroom on 2nd floor. It is a mom and pop type but very clean and modern compared to similar types of eatery. Most dishes are priced at around $20. However, quality and quantity built in. Lots of options and most appears to be unique. The two dishes we got, I have been eyeing on it before I even got to Hawaii. Overall, clean, good service and wholesome. Definitely will ne back. Thank you Jina. And yes, we did stop by few days later.

3.5 stars I came here with a craving for yukgaejang, and this place popped up on Yelp. They also serve meat jun, which is a Korean dish unique to Hawaii. There was plenty of metered parking, and arriving for a late weekday lunch, I was pleasantly surprised to see the restaurant was 70% full, mostly with Korean customers, all Korean employees --a great sign! The food was good. The yukgaejang was packed with vegetables, although I would have preferred a bit more meat. The meat jun was fine, but since it's not my favorite dish, I'm not the best judge. I really enjoyed the kimchi. Overall, it's a solid Korean restaurant, but there wasn't anything particularly unique that would make me rush back right away.

One of the older Korean food establishments on Keeaumoku Street. We have been coming since the old location. This was our second time to the new spot. Their menu has changed throughout the years. Service was really good. They keep refilling our tea and checking on us. Food was pretty decent. Place was clean and well kept. Only humbug is the bathroom is upstairs.

We were craving Korean after our Diamond Head hike. Ireh was a great choice for Korean fast food since it came out within 5 min of ordering. Friendly service.

    Cold bean noodle

Ireh chicken was Korean fried chicken with hot chili sauce. $22.95 Meat Jun was flavorful. $23.95 Cold bean noodles had a simple taste. If you want to eat something without spices, you might enjoy it. $20.95 Yukgaejang was not spicy and had a lot of vegetables. $22.95

Walking in, it was dark, cozy, smelling delicious and it was Full House. We were seated quickly with servers that were friendly & fast. We picked the menu option on page 1, $77 per person lunch set menu that includes 4 types of meat, steam eggs, kimchi pancake, different dipping sauces; including bean paste dipping sauce and raw garlic slices and abundant Banchan little appetizer dishes. You know this place is authentic when you have bean paste dipping sauce and raw garlic slices. They are not trying to tailor to westerners. I really enjoy the Korean comfort foods! 4 stars for the food, soups, and ban chan, 5 stars if the service was great. Typical service you will get at a Korean spot but no complaints. Just gotta be patient for ban chan refills or if you need anything else, I don't expect much just happy that I get to have my Korean food. During this recent Saturday visit, I decided to go here for our late lunch, after hiking Koko Head Trail & Makapuu. It was about 4:30 pm, we were the only ones there, but it filled up pretty quick an and they do have many take out and Uber/Door Dash orders. My favorites here are the combo set, choice of soondubu (combination, kim chee, spam, beef, sausage, clam,) & either meat jun, fried mandoo, bulgogi, yellow corvina, seafood jun, or BBQ chicken. The combo use to be $20.55 my first time but now went up to $23.55, hence the increase, it is still a great deal, this meal comes with rice and 5 different ban chan. This combo was more than enough for the both of us. My favorite is the spam soondubu ( yes. who picks Spam right?! hehe) & the seafood Jun. Although it so hard to decide since all the choices are good, I will have to visit again for the other selection. The other half and I cannot eat an entire combo set by ourselves. I love the ban chan, especially the daikon & kim chee, so fresh and crispy! When I first dined here, I was surprise to see they give you a fresh egg to crack in your soondubu soup, I am use to the egg already in there. We always have leftover soondu soup which I take home and add to my Korean ramen the next day, so good! For the meats, the beef brisket and beef toro were the stars, but the beef chuck was slightly tough and dry. They were also out of bulgogi, which was disappointing. The pork had a really strong boar taint smell/taste, which completely turned me off from ordering any of the pork. We had to ask for more meat and banchan refills multiple times. There was usually a pretty noticeable lag before anything came out, which was frustrating for an AYCE spot. They also seemed to be selective about which banchans they would refill. They would bring more of the dishes like kimchi and cucumber, but when we asked for more tuna mac, they wouldn't give us any. It also looked like there were only two people working while there were probably around 10 tables during the Tuesday lunch rush, so I do think they were understaffed. If you're offering AYCE, the refills and service should flow a lot more smoothly. It felt like they were paying more attention the tables that selected a higher tier of AYCE. Not a terrible experience, but definitely not as seamless or enjoyable as I was hoping for.
