Food that we ordered and All was Great
    Cartier L.

Service is Beyond Expectations with every staff member greeting you including the parking lot attendant. Food is at High Quality and with dining room full it still yields great Ambiance with reasonable noice volume. I think the food was so good that everyone focused on enjoying their food rather than talking. We went on past Sunday for dinner and the wait was only about 20 before we were seated in Joel's section. We think his name is Joel but he is a very friendly Filipino server who took his time to walk us through their menu and made some recommendations. We did take his suggestion on ordering the Marinated Kalbi which was very tender and good. Also added a Combo with a Tofu soup along with their Pancake . None disappointed! He even assured us in cooking the meats at our table since we just finished a long day and wanted to focus on eating. We felt like we have a personal chef at our table the whole time and I don't know if this is their routine practice or our server's habit. This Cook and Serve at Your Table is a worthwhile recommendation to put in the menu. We will return for sure and I know why their rating is so high.

This KBBQ is Seoul good. You might even say Korea Garden is my Seoul-mate! The birthday extravaganza continues! More fire, more good eats, and more soup! We got the seafood pajeon, cold noodles in beef broth, meat jun, galbi-jjim, steamed egg pot, and bibimbap. No actual grilling was done but we weren't exactly here for that. We came here to try meat jun and ended up getting a little bit of everything else. Let me tell you something... the galbi-jjim here alone is enough to pay them a visit. If you don't know what galbi-jjim is, let me explain it real quick. Galbi-jjim is a popular Korean dish of tender, braised short ribs, typically beef or pork, cooked in a savory-sweet soy sauce-based liquid with garlic, ginger, and often fruits like pear or apple for sweetness and tenderizing. It was perfectly savory and saucy, fall-off-the-bone tender, and I want to scream just thinking about it. The first bite alone had me sitting back in my seat. Had I been wearing a hat, I would have taken it off and held it over my heart. It was that good. And since it was my birthday, they brought over a complimentary seaweed soup and a tower of Choco Pies. They even sang Happy Birthday to me and made me blush. Solid eats and excellent service. The parking situation seems nerve racking but they have an attendant at both sides of the restaurant that helps stop traffic to help get you out of there which I found pretty cool!

Came here for lunch with my eonnies because one of them loves Korean food but hates to self cook. Got the lunch special, everything was great. I had the soondubu this time and I might like it more than the kimchi jjigae. The variety of banchan was awesome as always, the eonnies enjoyed trying all the different flavors and textures. Pretty sure I have developed an addiction for their kimchi jeon.

Korea Garden is for sure top 5 Korean bbq places in town. They are very welcoming, food tastes pretty authentic and you can tell it's made to order and atmosphere here is great as well. All in all a great place to enjoy some good Korean bbq and the service here is A1. Order to table I would say is pretty fast. However if in town and looking for a good place to enjoyed some Korean Bqq trust me when I say this, Korea Garden will do you good and I'm most certain have you coming back for more. Of all the incredible things we have here the kalbi will always get me coming back for more.

Omg! So good! Best meal so far in Hawaii. I've never had butterfish prepared like this before. Fish is deep fried and then stir fried in a Korean sauce. We got it spicy but it was really not that spicy at all. We lalso ordered the spicy chicken stir fry and it was actually spicer than the fish but still not too spicy. Also ordered veggie stone pot bibimbap and it was good better than most, but not special. The service was good they refilled our side dishes as needed. btw the kimchi is fantastic! We had it refilled 4x. The decor is very nice! Very clean and well designed. I would definitely come back.

A Korean friend told me about this restaurant when I asked him which was the best Korean restaurant in Honolulu. Without hesitation, he said Korea Garden. I never heard of this place but if my friend from Korea says it's good, I'm sure the food is authentic. It's a very big restaurant and there are two entrances. Arrived on a Friday night and this place was packed. They have an amazing ventilation system because with all the grilling that they do, it wasn't smoky, nor did my clothes smell after our meal. My partner and I are beef eaters and were sold on the combo menu. For $99.99. You get a selection of pork belly, brisket, beef tongue, prime rib and sirloin steak. As soon as we ordered, the banchan (sides) came out almost immediately, then our waitress started the grilling. She knew just how to cook the thinly sliced meat to perfection. My favorite was the grilled pork belly with sliced grilled sweet onion. They have a tasty special salt/oil dipping sauce that goes with all the grilled meats. Everything was so yummy and plentiful, we couldn't finish it all. Another good thing about Korea Garden is that parking is very limited. They have an attendant who shows you where to park in the neighboring lots and we felt that if anything went wrong, he'd come running into the restaurant to find us.

If there's one thing Maui lacks it's the amount of good Korean BBQ or any Asian fusion Cuisine. We were trying to find a place that had both Korean food & Jajangmyeon so my sister could have both. Unfortunately they only serve that during lunch we'll have to be back for that when she returns. We eat a lot of Korean BBQ so we get our favorites & basically compare the dishes we know and love. My husband always gets a short rib / Kal Bi Spicy soup or kimchi jiigae. He said they have the best one so far - spicy flavor w/ a good beef flavor. Everything was so yummy tho' my sister had a blast trying food she rarely gets to eat. The service was 5/5 our server was great - he was so helpful as it was our first time here. Explained every banchan to us & checked on us frequently. You can cook the meats yourself but they do have the option to have the kitchen do it for you which is nice when you don't want to cook to enjoy your company or smell like smoke. If you have leftovers be sure to take those home, we did and everything was so tasty the next day including the soup. The parking lot is small & can be tricky if you're not a seasoned driver. There is a parking attendant who does help you in and reverse if needed - thankfully my husband is a pro because I probably would have turned around and not go in or parked far and walked over.

Absolute BEST banchan on Oahu!!!! I've tried many Korean restaurants, but Korea Garden has by far the best! They offer certain banchan that I haven't found anywhere else. Those specialty ones change/rotate but are super good and will require additional visits to experience them all. Ambiance is very nice and clean. The place is pretty large, but it definitely can get crowded and fill up. The staff are normally very friendly and attentive. The yAkiNiKu meat quality is always very good and consistent, but a little on the pricey side. I like to go during lunch and get their soups. Their beef bone broth soup is my favorite along with the spicy beef soup. All dishes go extremely well with their banchan! Would highly recommend! Tips: parking is located in both the front and back of the restaurant. There is usually a parking attendant who will help and instruct on where to park. Lunch time readily has more parking and tables available. Was told the owners are the people who previously owned Choi's Garden..... that's why the banchan is spectacularly good

Made reservation at 10:30 for lunch on Saturday. Limited parking outside the restaurant. Service was attentive and efficient. We ordered their lunch set menu which serves daily from 10:30-3pm. Restaurant is clean with some good music. 1. BBQ Kalbi Plate ($27.99) - they marinated the Kalbi for 48 hours and it was very tender and juicy. MUST order! 2. Soft Tofu Soup with Seafood ($18.99) - a lot of ingredients inside and the tofu was very silky. 3. BBQ Chicken Ride Bowl ($20.99) - Chicken was very tender and flavorful. Delicious. The highlight was their Banchan. They have the best Banchan on the island. Variety of Chan Chan like fish cake, fried eggplants, kimchi, spinach, seaweed with daikon, potatoes, mashed potatoes, herb jello, etc. Overall Korea Garden is my top 2 affordable Korean restaurant in Hawaii. Everything is so good. I should come more often.

Vibe: It was a rainy day after a long productive day. That means there is a long awaited KBBQ dinner waiting for us! This place hit the spot! Food (5/5): We ordered the seafood pancake, Galbi, brisket, and a plethora of meats. The food came with plenty of banchan to eat with the rest of our food. Everything was well seasoned, tender, and flavorful!! Service (5/5): the servers cook and serve the food for you when they can. They were very attentive and gave us our food quickly. Ambiance (5/5): The parking lot looks small so I can imagine if it's busy, parking may be an issue. However, we can around 8pm and there was plenty of parking. Security watches the lot. Inside of the restaurant looked well kept and spacious. Bathrooms were clean.

More great eats at Korean Garden! We returned for another great lunch this time with family! Once again we got great service - and- food. We just love their lunch time specials as the list is long and lots of variety for different taste buds. Once again we got the kaubi w/ healthy stone pot rice & stew so good and lots of food! Spicy pork & healthy stone pot rice and kim Chee stew Bulgogi & health stone pot rice with plain miso stew Fried Mandu was huge but so good! Grand son loved it and almost finished a whole serving himself! Loved the dipping sauce too Over all got parking in the front parking lot- sat at a good size table to seat us all and service was perfect. We loved their lunch stone pot health rice and I encourage everyone to try it - very yummy and good for you!

We ordered lunch Kalbi plate to go and it was delicious and generous served. The Kalbi meat was tender, juicy and tasty, the rice was sweet and glutinous and they' gave us 4 side Korean appetizer dishes, all are delicious. The generous portion was well served and really worth the treat!

I gotta say the customer service is amazing. From start to finish the ladies were awesome. Our server was so helpful and friendly. It wasn't just our server who checked on us but the other workers that passed or table as well. Food was also amazing. Love their meat Jun and kimchee soup. The variety of sides given is a plus and all were so delicious. I love how spacious and clean the restaurant is. This is a must try if you're in the area.

The premium AYCE option is around $60 per person, which would be reasonable if the quality matched the price. Unfortunately, it doesn't. We're from the Bay Area and have been to countless Korean BBQ restaurants with significantly better meat quality for the same price or less. To make matters worse, even at the highest-priced AYCE tier, fountain drinks aren't included. What really left a bad impression was the automatic 20% gratuity. Our group consisted of two separate parties of three people each. We were seated together at one large table with two grills, but we had separate bills, ordered different AYCE meats option, didn't share food, and made that CLEAR before ordering. The menu states that automatic gratuity applies to parties of five or more, yet we were still charged because we happened to sit together. Had we known this was their policy, we would have chosen another restaurant or sat at different areas of the restaurant. The reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because our servers were friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions about the menu and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Unfortunately, when we brought the gratuity issue to the manager, he insisted we were one large party despite us being separate parties with separate orders and separate checks. At the end of the day, the only difference was that we happened to be sitting at the same table. Overall, the service from the staff was great, but the overpriced food, disappointing meat quality, and questionable gratuity policy make it hard for me to recommend this place.

I like that they open at 10am and that they serve delicious banchan. I came in one weekday and was seated at one of the regular tables. I guess they assumed I wasn't going to get the AYCE, even though it's pretty affordable for weekday lunch (like $28). Id like to come back to try the ayce sometime. I decided on the cold noodle and kalbi combo for $24. The cold noodles by themselves are only $14, so I thought there would be at least a couple pieces of kalbi in the combo. Nope. Apparently one piece of kalbi is $10. It was served hot, but it was served on a hot plate with onions and the plate itself wasn't hot. Why serve it on a hot plate? Very confusing. The cold noodles were refreshing, but you can get pretty good cold noodles at any Korean restaurant I think. I was a little disappointed in the quantity of food for the combo. Or I wish they had an actual lunch special, maybe I should have just got the ayce at this point right? But I wanted the cold noodles.... Oh well. It doesn't seem like they changed the interior all that much. It was pretty nice inside to begin with and there is a big parking lot. The workers come by when you ring the table side bell. Lol, otherwise they kind of just drop off the food and leave you alone. I was surprised there were like 3 other couples eating from the Ala carte menu at 10:30. I would possibly come back to try their other soups, but I wouldn't get suckered into getting the combos.
