I am a fan of Dr. Liang!!! I have had a wonderful experience at SGV Dentistry. Personally I am a bit apprehensive to dentist visits but Dr. Liang was kind, thoughtful and most importantly, not judgmental. Dr. Liang was able to fit me in for an emergency exam because I chipped a tooth while on vacation. He was very informative, took the time to explain everything to me, and was very thorough and gentle during the procedure. Plus the office is very clean and welcoming. I made an appointment with Dr. Liang for my deep cleaning and also a regular cleaning for my 2 kids. Dr. Liang was extremely thorough during my appointment. Since I had my initial cleaning with a different dentistry office, I forwarded him their findings. Before he dived in, he did a quick re-exam to see if he agreed with their findings. He let me know that he agreed and got to work on redoing 2 fillings and my deep cleaning. During the procedure, he told me that he noticed some residual from my Invisalign (that I had done about 9 years ago!!) and he polished it off. How did my previous dentists throughout the years not notice?? With my kids, he had my son (8) take x-rays with his assistant while he cleaned my daughter's (4) teeth. He was so loving with words of encouragement on how well she was doing. He let her choose the flavor of the toothpaste. Once he was done with her, he moved to the next room with my son and did his cleaning. He finished both within 1 hour. Soooo efficient! I can't recommend SGV Dentistry enough! read more

I have now been here twice and have had nothing but a great experience. I have generally avoided going to the dentist in the past due to negative office experiences and feeling shamed for avoiding the dentist or pressured into certain treatments. I felt very welcomed here and Dr. Liang was thorough in my care. He was very transparent about what was covered with my insurance and any extra payments I would need to pay prior to providing the service. Ive truly never walking out of a dentist prior to here feeling like I had a positive experience and look forward to my future appointments. Because of that, I struggle with being consistent and going to the dentist for routine care. It's a dreadful feeling when I know I have to go to the dentist. I happened to come across Dr. Liang's office, and I decided to call because I was experiencing some tooth pain. I walked in, and the office space was clean and inviting. Dr. Liang was so welcoming and kind from the start, and he explained everything to me clearly. He was very knowledgeable and actually listened to me. This really put my dental anxiety at ease. He made a treatment plan and went over it with me, and he broke it down in a way that wasn't overwhelming. You can really tell that he cares about his work and patients. My old dentist dropped Delta Dental insurance and the hygienist canceled appointments last minute a few times, so I decided to it was time to try something new and gave SGV Dentistry a try. SGV Dentistry had a modern office and saw me right at my appointment time. I have already recommended this place to multiple friends irl so that speaks volumes to the quality of care. It's not a fancy dentist office but it's got heart. The dentist and the staff are very friendly, calming, and knowledgeable. This is probably the first time I've ever actually liked my dentist. I usually avoid the dentist, not because I'm scared but because I'm just not comfortable around the main doc or the staff but I'm already scheduled for my 6 month so that truly says something. As for my appointment, I went in for a cleaning and general check up. I walked out having fixed one chipped filling, a deep cleaning, and removed all my wisdom teeth. My wisdom teeth removal is something I've been avoiding for 7+ years because it always seemed like a huge procedure and recovery but it only took some numbing injections and 10 minutes to pull all 4 out. (They were already fully erupted.) Minimal swelling and no pain after the first day. I am very susceptible to spiraling so I do appreciate that when I went in the following week to adjust the filling he fixed, he checked my healing progress without judgment and confirmed I was healing normally. I really needed that confirmation to stop worrying about a potential dry socket. Outside of needing to return for a slight adjustment to my filling so I could floss more easily, it's been a 10/10 experience! read more

I decided to give SGV Dentistry a try and am extremely satisfied with my experience. I gave them a call and was able to conveniently schedule an appointment for a checkup and cleaning. On the day of the appointment, I was running late but was able to check in quickly and efficiently upon arrival thanks to the welcoming staff. The appointment was quick and painless.
