They are great! Everyone is so friendly, they work with your schedule to get you in to their office in a reasonable time, and they are all super professional. Dr. Jin took his time to ensure I was completely happy with the aesthetics of his work, and my new smile. read more

They started out fantastic then I was paired with a different dentist who was combative and rude, telling me "my mouth was full of cavities" and not showing me my x-rays, I never felt comfortable going back after being treated weirdly while in the chair, I would say most the people there are great, just a couple folks not professional read more

Excellent. Exceptional. The best in the west. Extremely professional, clean, and super modern with the best tech.

LOVE this dentist office! felt so welcome and everyone was so fun and sweet and made me feel so comfortable! my new fav dentist office!

Where do I even start - I always hated going to the dentist and I avoided going whatsoever for years before I found out about this practice through Yelp! Everyone here is super welcoming and I felt super comfortable with every single visit. I've been there for fillings, deep cleaning, regular cleaning, and all I can say is my experience was amazing every single time. I was super nervous the first time I got here but everyone has been super gentle and I really credit Jin Dental for making me look forward to going to the dentist (which is incredible for me to say)! Scheduling is also super easy and you'll get both email and text reminders. read more

I think it took less than 5 minutes to take both my upper wisdom teeth out. Love their office staff as well as everyone else! They make it a point to remember you and make going to the dentist a much less anxiety provoking experience! 10/10 would get wisdom teeth to get them pulled out here read more

Beautiful dental office located in Pasadena. I was recommended this office by my coworker. They have parking and easily scheduling via phone or calendar. Overall my visit was smooth and they did a great job informing me of what I need done. Luckily I have decent teeth so I don't need much done. read more

Visiting this office is literally like visiting family for me. From the front desk, the hygienists to Dr. Mike. They are so kind, thorough and very motivating and encouraging. At my advanced age, I appreciate Dr. Mike's gentle, yet straightforward chair side manner. He explains everything so clearly that it leaves no room for assumptions. He's gentle and honest with me. As if talking to his granny. But not in a condescending way. I have only been a patient for just over a year and I am fascinated by the new technology used in this office. See, I come to them from being the patient of old-school dentists. I am confident that my dental health is in EXCELLENT hands. I'm sooooo very happy that I took the recommendation from someone on Nextdoor. I very highly recommend! read more

Appointment was quick and everyone seems very well organized. Stations all looked very clean and have equipment that my old dentist didn't have. Staff are friendly and personable. read more

Jin Dental is so much more than a dental office. From the front desk to the chair there is no shortage of interest in the patient and in cultivating a warm, familial spirit. I can't say enough about how the entire staff embraced our needs after we lost our home in the Eaton Fire in January. Additionally, my oral health has never been better thanks to the remarkable staff and one of my personal favorites, Jocelyn. She is hands down the most dedicated hygienist I've ever encountered, and her chair side manner is top notch. She and the staff are genuinely interested in your health and it shows. Please do yourself a favor and get the Airflow upgrade when you go for your cleaning. It's 10x worth whatever your insurance doesn't cover in terms of comfort and effectiveness. Personally, I will never go back. Tell them Paul sent you! Seriously what are you waiting for? read more

Been coming here for cleaning and started Invisalign with Dr Jin. They provide great services and are very meticulous with the whole process, guiding me through and checking in with how I am doing with the aligner trays. Would highly recommend! read more

Great experience today with Dr. Gutierrez. Gentle cleaning with the Airflow, and great bedside manner. Friendly and professional. Thanks!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff from the front to back are all very kind and understanding. They do their best to answer any and all questions that I had to the best of their abilities whether it be about the appointment itself or financial responsibilities. The providers are also very patient and attentive to your concerns. They thoroughly go over each and every issue and assessment. The office itself is very cute and clean as well. It's modern and up to date with all the latest features. My favorite part was the digital 3D rendering of the teeth they made with a scanner which eliminated the need for those sticky gunky dental impressions. Not only that, I believe they are able to print out retainers and Invisalign within their office directly. Overall if you are in need of dental assistance I highly recommend this location. read more

Jin Dental Aesthetics - General Dentistry Near Me - Pasadena, California

Came in for a standard teeth cleaning. Left with nothing but confusion, frustration, and a recommendation for a cleaning that costs roughly 10x what insurance covers. Here's how it went down: I scheduled a routine 45-minute cleaning, gave them my insurance info in advance, and was told it would be covered. Great. I walked in expecting to be out before lunch -- instead, I spent 90 minutes getting X-rays I didn't ask for and being slowly worn down by a full-court press for an "advanced" deep cleaning that my insurance barely touched. I asked if I could just get the regular cleaning -- the one that's covered. Their actual response: "We wouldn't even do that for our mom." Wait, what? That's the line? So I tried reasoning with them: "Okay, if me teeth is C-grade, can I at least get the B-grade cleaning to improve things?" Blank stares. No straight answers. Just more nudging toward the deluxe, platinum-tier gum polishing. After saying no several times, the hygienist looked visibly irritated -- like I was the one wasting their time. Still no cleaning. Just pressure, pitches, and a weird refusal to provide any care unless I went with the upsell. Before leaving, I asked one last time if I could just get the standard cleaning my insurance does cover. They said yes... but not for me. Not for me? So now dental care is being handed out like VIP bottle service? I walked out with no cleaning, a vague feeling of being scammed, and 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Jin Dental doesn't feel like a place focused on patient health -- it feels like a place focused on patient conversion rates. If you're into sales pitches and philosophical debates about what kind of cleaning your teeth are worthy of, go for it. Otherwise, I'd suggest finding a dentist who prioritizes care over commission. read more

They are all simply wonderful. The staff cares about you as a person as well as your teeth. The office is beautiful and I appreciate the time and energy spent to explain the various options of treatment. Dr. Jin is great and very dedicated to keeping up with all the new techniques/technological advancements in the field. A special shoutout to Gabby for going above and beyond to double check insurance and payment options. The clear communication and explanation of each step of a visit is really helpful. read more

Awesome place, they made sure I didn't have any new cavities. I highly recommend this place.

In 2019, I attended the grand opening of Dr. Jin's first dental office. I had been scared of dental treatments since childhood in China and here in CA where painful procedures left me in tears. At that time, anesthetics were not available. Because of this, I didn't see a dentist for many years. In 2021, after getting PPO dental insurance, I found I had old fillings causing cracks in my teeth. It was overwhelming to need so much work: four fillings, two crowns, and three wisdom teeth removed. I was very nervous and had a hard time at first, but my awesome and compassionate dental assistant Donna made me feel calm and comfortable. When I woke up, I realized only part of the work was done. I asked Dr. Jin to finish everything at once, but he recommended spreading it out to avoid overwhelming me. After several appointments, I felt relieved and grateful that my teeth were healthy again, preventing future issues. This year, Dr. Jin fixed a small chip from edge damage on my teeth and adjusted the size of my other teeth to make them look straighter. He did an excellent job, and I couldn't believe the result! It made me smile more and feel so happy--I had tears of joy! I can't thank Dr. Jin & his team enough! I now enjoy visiting his dental office. His team is professional, welcoming, and accommodating. I would give him over 100 stars. He's the best dentist ever. He continually learns, works hard, undergoes intensive training, and provides the best care for all his patients. I highly recommend everyone to visit Dr. Jin, the best dentist. You won't regret it! He created a comforting environment and super clean. While it may be a bit expensive, I find it reasonable for the high-quality care. I'd rather not pay 3-5 times more for endodontic or periodontal surgery, as I've seen friends face significant financial burdens. If you're not happy with your current dental care, visit this office! Don't wait too long! Taking care of your teeth is vital for good health. I absolutely love my beautiful & natural smile. It's much better than the fake smiles people create by editing their teeth to make them whiter in photo apps. I feel like a new person--happier and smiling more than ever before. It's so sore now, but I can't help smiling and laughing too much! LOL. I'm looking forward to many more years with this dental office and wouldn't want to switch dentists. read more

I've been a patient at Jin's Dental Aesthetics since August 2023, and I've had the best experience here. My previous visits with other dentists weren't great. I've had my concerns ignored, my tongue burned, and even had a piece of a needle left inside a molar during a root canal. Needless to say, I never liked going to the dentist. I actually feared it. But from my very first visit here, I felt heard and respected. There was no judgment from anyone, just kindness and professionalism. The front desk staff, dental assistants, and hygienists have all been incredibly welcoming and caring. Plus the office is really clean and modern. Dr. Kimmy has been absolutely amazing. She caught a few issues that other dentists had missed and always takes the time to truly listen to any concerns I have. Most notably, she resolved the jaw pain I'd been experiencing while eating by adjusting a crown that had been left too high by a previous dentist. Now that pain is completely gone and I've had no issues since then. I wholeheartedly recommend this office. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now which is something I never thought I'd say. read more

ok so let me begin w i do not like going to the dentist. i would only for cleanings or when i was in pain. i had braces in high school and then didn't wear a retainer so my teeth are a mess. i felt like an ugly duckling and avoided smiling to hide my secret. i made an appointment appointment and within a month (consultations and cleanings etc) i am now on my way to get invisalign. the staff here have treated me with such dignity, caring for me like i was their most important patient. i've interacted with Esme, Beryl, Donna, Gaby ( i'm so sorry the young girl at the front desk who's name i didn't catch) they have all been amazing in their communication and professionalism. Dr.Kimmie has been working with me and is one the most caring, compassionate and conscientious medical professionals i have ever encountered. i'm so glad i walked into this place. i am confident that i am in good hands and look forwards to a smile i can be proud of. read more

The staff is amazing, patient and informative. They put me at ease and answered all of my questions and explained everything so well. I didn't feel like they were trying to up-sale or tell me that I needed work done that didn't. They showed me photos and explained the X-rays and what procedures I needed in detail. If you're a nervous anti dental type, this is the place! Oh, they also have a "Comfort Menu" ... need I say more! Thank you! read more

I can confidently say my experience with Jin Dental has been excellent! The office is modern, calm, and welcoming. The front desk staff is professional and kind, and they go above and beyond to make check-in and scheduling a breeze. Dr. Jin and the entire team are warm, thorough, and genuinely care about your comfort and long-term dental health. I appreciated how clearly everything was explained to me, no pressure, just honest, informed recommendations. The technology they use is impressive too. During my cavity fillings, cleaning and consultation, done by Dr. Kimmy I never felt rushed. Everything was done gently, and they constantly checked in to make sure I was okay. You can tell that the team is well-trained and wants to be helpful.. read more

I am sooo impressed by Jin Dental. From my first visit I knew this place was much different from any other place I've been in the past. The consultation is fantastic! They are very interested in what you'd like to focus on among several choices - nothing is pushed as they are here to help. X-rays are a three part process with much more detail than I've ever experienced. Once you choose your game plan you are explained the cost and the next visit is booked. Everyone I have met in this office is so friendly! I have already recommended Jin to several people and will continue to do so! read more

After experiencing the drama of losing an adult tooth, I was looking for someone that could give me confidence I would end with a smile I was happy with (I lost a front tooth... cue music for what I want for Christmas). I lost confidence in my last dentist through this process. I've had two visits so far and I am really impressed. The facility and equipment is top notch. More importantly, the staff is also top notch. Everyone is friendly and caring from in-person discussions to on the phone and even via email. Dr. Jin has taken the time to clearly explain everything to me and I don't feel like it's rushed or a chore for him. I feel he has passion for what he does as well as for the success of his practice. He does a great job explaining everything clearly. While they have tons of capability, I also don't feel like there is a strong pressure to do the most expensive option. 2 of 2 experiences have had all the options laid on the table and then I was able to choose. I guess I have found my new dentist! Hopefully I will have my new smile in 3-6 months and can report back on the final conclusion to this journey. read more
