I've had a few really bad experiences starting decades ago with other Dentists to the point that just thinking about getting a root canal was almost giving me a panic attack. I had been avoiding the dentist for years, and finally had a molar that was starting to crack and I knew I had to get it taken care of. A mutual friend, and patient, of Dr. Sean's insisted I give him a try. I'm really glad I did. Dr. Sean really listened to my concerns, and emphathized with my absolute terror of getting this done. He didn't do what other dentists have done, which is steam roll over me. He wanted to make sure it was as good of an experience as possible. The root canal was done with oral sedation - I wasn't stressed out, there was no pain, and since he makes the crowns in office - I walked out with my permanent crown all in one visit. I even willingly came back 2 days later for a filling I needed (no sedation). The work he did was amazing, and just as important: I trust him, his skill, his professionalism, his humanity, and his ethics (he also wasn't trying to sell me additional cosmetic services afterwards). I was originally recommended to Dr. Sean by my sister back in 2021, and I'm so grateful I found him. I've never been a fan of going to the dentist due to some really bad experiences in the past, but Dr. Sean completely changed that for me. I've had two root canals done by him, as well as my top two wisdom teeth removed. With only local anesthesia, I truly didn't feel anything other than a little pressure during the extractions. The same goes for the root canals--the scariest part was honestly just the sound of the drilling. What sets Dr. Sean apart from other dentists I've seen is how gentle and patient he is. He has a very steady, gentle hand and never rushes through procedures. He's extremely knowledgeable while also being straightforward about both preventative and emergency care, which I really appreciate.
