Parking: I had no trouble with parking at all. There is a structure nearby that had plenty of free parking. If you have trouble for any reason there is plenty of free parking on the street. I came here to get a second opinion after a poor dental visit from another dental place a couple of weeks prior. They took my x-rays, did a dental cleaning and laser work. Everything was painless and they made sure to check if I was ok every step of the way. Overall: All of the staff are very friendly. They are all incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure I understood the health of my teeth and the options I had. They never tried to push anything on me and made sure I was comfortable with what I wanted to do. Tip #1- Bring cash with you if you can. They charge a 3.5% credit card fee. Tip #2 - If you're in a rush and don't have time to brush, don't worry. Their restroom has free toothpaste, toothbrushes and mouthwash (: PSA - They have free snacks and drinks in the lobby while you wait. read more

I had an amazing experience from the moment that I walked into Summit Dental Arts. Everyone was really nice, gentle and accommodating. I was immediately asked if I needed water and sat in my chair that had a big TV in front of me and a large TV above me. The dental hygienist did a great job of explaining everything that I needed and why which, felt really important because historically I'm just gone to the dentist for pain or procedures and not preventative care. They didn't shame me for not going to the dentist regularly and now I know the education behind it so that I can make sure that I keep up with my appointments. I had a really busy day today with work and they were able to squeeze in my cleaning as well as my fillings and measured me for my mouthguard in one hour! They moved quickly, and thoroughly, and Dr. Andrew constantly checked on me to make sure that I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Bonus: they sent me home with treats ! Parking was easy and the office is so cute. I'm excited and happy to say I found my new dentist . read more

Came in for a teeth cleaning. They turned a dreaded appointment into something I'd recommend to everyone. I never thought I'd rave about a dentist, but here we are. I had the BEST experience! So let's get into it. Parking: FREE! There's a parking structure with ample of parking spots. The facility itself is clean and beautiful. Outside and inside are aesthetically pleasing. The waiting area is beautiful. I have never been to the dentist that looked this nice. There are complimentary snacks & drinks. But wait, there's more. The restroom, CLEAN! There are disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and mouthwash. Annnnd now I have been called in. I was escorted to the exam room and as I enter I see a welcome sign on the TV screen with my name on it. OHHHKAY! They have modern imaging tools. The X-rays are were taken with a hand held X-Ray Device. Got a 3D impression on my teeth with a Intraoral scanner which looked like a probe with a build in camera. I was then taken to another room where I got a CT scan, which is minimally invasive. Lots of images were taken, and I'm for it. It was amazing to see colored images of my teeth. A little frightening to see how disgusting my teeth are and all the plaque build up, but also very interesting. Dr. Tran reviewed the images with me and I really appreciated that he took a conservative approach and didn't pressure me into any immediate procedures. Overall, it was such a refreshing experience to interact with a doctor who made me feel informed and at ease, rather than anxious. A coordinator then came in to discuss the recommended treatment plan and went over overall cost in detail based on my insurance coverage. This was very helpful because now I have an idea of what to expect if and when I choose to move forward with the recommendations. Yara, the hygienist, is amazing! She was so friendly and made the entire teeth cleaning experience genuinely enjoyable. It's time to clean my teeth and so she lowered the chair into a fully reclined position. And to my surprise there's a TV screen on the ceiling. Next thing you know, I'm watching IF (Imaginary Friends) on Netflix. I kept saying, "This is wild" because this is next level. Watching TV while getting my teeth cleaned?! What a win! After my cleaning she placed a warm cloth over my mouth and started massaging my jaw and then applied lip balm with an applicator on my lips. Like what kind of treatment is this? I was shocked in the best way! She then gave me a bag of dental goodies and off to scheduling a follow up I go. This is by far the BEST and memorable experience I've ever had at the dentist. All the staff here were so kind and welcoming. Thank you to the entire team for making this such a comfortable and positive experience. I'm actually looking forward to coming back! read more

Did I just have a mind-blowing appointment? Yes, I did. Dentistry has come a long way since I was a kid, and today I stepped into the future at Summit Dental Arts. I was speechless again and again with the new innovations this office uses in oral care. Among other advancements, they have a handheld x-ray gun and a 3-D color modelling scan of my teeth. Incredibly detailed images were immediately viewed as references on large monitors throughout the small exam room. They suggested some new cleaning procedures which use the latest oral care technologies. My old brain did take a minute to catch up. This was such a different experience than what I've had over the years. However, if it means better oral health and less discomfort now and in the long run, I owe it to myself to lean into the future. The entire staff was very friendly and excited to provide exceptional service. I was waiting for the gotcha moment, when they burst my dreamy sci-fi bubble with the news that this is all going to cost a small fortune. With relief, that moment never came. I usually don't get very excited about a dentist visit. However, in addition to all the fun gadgets, free parking and proximity to my home and gym give this dentist office the edge. A highlight for me was when Dr. Andrew asked what I wanted to watch on the ceiling-mounted TV as they worked on my teeth. I felt like this was really something to chew on! read more

The entire experience was so pleasant. We received a warm welcome as soon as we came in. We brought our young kids and they were offered some snacks to eat as we wait to be called. When we were called, the front desk offered to watch the kids so my wife and I could get our cleaning. Beto (assistant) and Dr. Gino were very kind, explained every step, consistently asked to ensure I was doing ok. Although we were new patients, we felt as if we were family. Thank you very much Summit Dental Arts! read more

I recently had to find a new dentist because ours burned down in the fire and we are so happy we found Summit Dental Arts! They are so kind, friendly, and attentive. After not having great experiences, my son and I are actually happy to come to the dentist! Each staff member is very attentive and they always make sure we are comfortable. They go into details on explanations and show you the before and after of the work they do. Even with financing, they have many options and make it easy for you to understand what charges will be covered should you have insurance and what out of pocket costs will be. They even go as far as helping you apply for financing services if you need the extra financial help. I am so very impressed and happy with Summit Dental Arts. I couldn't have asked for a better place for myself and my son. Looking forward to the next visit! read more

Such a great experience! I have been looking for a new dentist since I have moved from Santa Monica but hesitant to switch since my old office was wonderful. Summit dental was an amazing experience- from all the staff, to the doctor, and all the new technology. I am definitely switching over and tell my husband and friends to come here! read more

The brutally honest comments of two little minds pushed me to search for a dentist. "Why are your teeth yellow?" My response was, "I drink lots of tea and coffee" but in reality I stopped taking care of my teeth after my bad experience with the orthodontist. I never liked my smile and thought braces would boost my confidence. Got braces done, but it caused my upper teeth to flare out way too much. It destroyed my self-confidence. All that money invested felt like I was worse than when I started. After reflecting on what the two little ones said to me, I googled non-stop "best but affordable dentist in Pasadena." Summit Dental Arts was an option, but I was skeptical about their promotion at the time. Free comprehensive exam, x-rays, and more sounded too good to be true. So I called the number to ask a few questions and inquire about their payment options. Giselle and Justine were wonderful. She listened, answered all my questions, and guided me through the process. They did in fact have the promotion going on. Jaw dropped. The appointment was scheduled for December 22nd at 4pm, but I got sick. I called to let them know and they rescheduled for the December 30th. I'm so glad I build up the courage to go in. From listening and communicating effectively with patients, Summit Dental Arts staff cares about their patients concerns. My main concern was affordability as I don't have dental insurance. They have payment options!!! Don't let money be the reason why you don't take care of your dental health. Carlos and Jasmine took care of my x-rays and CT scan. The technology they have allows patients to see problem areas a lot better. Dr. Steven Tran was thorough in my treatment plan and he made me feel comfortable. After he showed me the before and after on display I was convinced I made the right call for the dentist. Sure the overall treatment cost sounds scary, but having them break it step by step helped me overcome that hurdle to take care of myself. The images I'll post are not the best. I'm a bit embarrassed to post them, but I do want to share my overall journey with Summit Dental Arts. On the visit I had today, December 31st, every staff member made me feel comfortable. They even played the movie "White Chicks" to distract me from the 8 cavity fillings I needed. I have extremely sensitive teeth, but Dr.Nguyen made sure I didn't feel pain. My dental hygienist, Yaarah, was phenomenal. She took care of my cleaning and she made my entire experience better. My appointment started at 3:20pm and I left around 6:00pm. I'm happy that I finally found a dentist for regular check-up's. I will be starting other treatment with them to align my smile. If you're looking for a dentist near the Pasadena area, check them out. 10/10 care and communication! Thank you to all the staff members for providing a friendly and welcoming environment. Cheers to a happy new year and new smile!!! read more

Scheduled a regular teeth cleaning here while I was visiting family last week. I'd been referred here by my cousin! The office is very well kept & has modern decor that creates a relaxing atmosphere while you wait. I was seen by Dr. Andrew! He was very patient & happily answered all of my questions. He was able to explain what/why he was doing in terms that I was able to understand fully. During my exam, I let him know that my teeth have been sensitive in the past when getting my cleanings done. He made sure to take that into consideration and consistently checked in with me during my cleaning. Thank you Dr. Andrew & the rest of the team for a pleasant and efficient experience. See you in 6 months! read more

First of all, the place is stunning -- so aesthetically beautiful and spotless. The whole staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Angel started me off with such a smooth, comforting process, taking my photos and getting everything ready for the doctors. He even made my temporary crown, and it fit perfectly. I had a thorough cleaning done by Dr. Nguyen, and he was amazing. Dr. Tran was the one who fixed my crown, and I'm genuinely so impressed with his work. He put in way more effort than expected -- he fixed a tooth that was basically unrepairable, and he did it without hesitation. He took his time, cleaned everything up so well, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Super gentle, super patient, and completely pain-free. I was expecting to be sore the whole week, but I feel perfectly fine! And honestly... their technology? Next level. Everything was so modern that it made the whole experience way easier to tolerate -- and I'm someone who used to avoid going to the dentist. Overall, such a good experience, definitely coming back for all my dental issues :). Highly recommend. read more

I am so glad my friend recommended Summit Dental Arts to me. I had been putting off dental work and now I have several issues to correct, but I am so grateful to have found this place to do it all at. The biggest thing that makes me feel comfortable and reassured at Summit is the team. Every member of the staff is professional, informed and friendly. They all communicate with each other throughout the work and also if you want to ask about anything along the way they are very patient and helpful with information on whats happening and the outlook of your dental work going forward. The office is clean and nicely designed, the rooms have doors so you don't have to hear everyone in the office's drills and chats, and the work I have had done so far has been carefully and thoroughly done. Dr. Andrew is very knowledgeable and calming, which has helped me to feel less anxious. He is also very patient and understanding that I had TMJ issues before from other dental work and lets me relax and take breaks for my jaw throughout his working on my teeth. I am super happy with Summit so far! read more

I've always been very nervous about going to the dentist. In the past, dentists either weren't straightforward with me or the experience was just plain scary, so I avoided going for a long time. I was really worried about ending up with a dentist who didn't genuinely care about their patients. This office is the complete opposite of every bad experience I've had. From the moment I walked in, it was very welcoming. The front desk was friendly, the bathrooms were very clean, and they even offered me coffee, water, and a pastry while I waited. The whole place feels calm, comforting, and very clean. The team was incredibly thorough. They: They did my free exam BTW and free x rays. Went over my treatment plan before doing any work Addressed every single concern and question I had Made sure I understood everything before I left Checked on me constantly to make sure I wasn't in pain or uncomfortable I had a deep cleaning done, and I was able to watch my favorite comfort show on the TV they have on the ceiling, which helped a lot with my anxiety. Not once did I feel rushed, judged, or uncomfortable during the entire process. Now I'm scheduled for cleanings every 3 months, and honestly, I'm not nervous about going to the dentist anymore--as long as I'm coming here. The staff is kind, patient, and genuinely cares about how you feel, not just about getting you in and out. This is definitely my regular dentist from now on. I don't know why I avoided going for so long, but I'm glad I waited and found this place. If you have anxiety about the dentist or you've had bad experiences in the past, I can't imagine going anywhere else if you have the option to come here. I also have a before and after, I actually cant bieleve the results, left me speechless, I can finally smile with confidence! read more

Dr. Tran and everyone on the team has made each visit so easy and comfortable. Everyone has always made me feel welcome. The front desk staff are super friendly, the office manager is sweet and helpful, and the dental assistants and dental hygienists are very thorough and attentive. They showed me areas to focus on for better oral care and gave helpful tips for keeping my teeth and gums healthy. Even things that can sometimes feel stressful to me were made to feel completely effortless by their approach. Dr. Tran is fantastic, his techniques when working on my teeth were gentle and painless. I genuinely did not know a dental office like this could exist. From the moment you walk in, the space is brand new, modern, spotless, and honestly just really aesthetically pleasing. No jaded energy, no rushing, no feeling like you're an inconvenience. The technology is next level. The X-rays were super high-tech and thorough, and everything felt efficient and thoughtful. The doctors were truly the best. They explained everything in a way that actually made sense, took their time, and were incredibly transparent about costs (which honestly shocked me in the best way). I avoided the dentist for over six years due to severe dental anxiety. When I finally visited Summit Dental for my first appointment last August, I had a laundry list of overdue dental work. Now, nearly a full year later, I have had a range of procedures done: deep cleanings, cavity fillings, a root canal, Invisalign, and just last week, I started the process for a dental implant. Having undergone some pretty intimidating procedures over the past year, I can confidently say this is the first time in my life I haven't been afraid to go to the dentist. The Summit Dental staff is incredibly conscious of pain management and patient comfort. They explain every single step of a procedure while they are performing it, which completely takes the fear out of the unknown. The office is clean, bright, calming, and features modern technology. What truly sets this practice apart is the environment Dr. Tran has built. You can tell the staff genuinely like each other and love what they do. That positive energy translates directly into how they treat patients. Every time I walk in, I'm greeted like an old friend. I'm grateful for the incredible care from Dr. Tran, Angel, Justine, Francesca, Dr. Andrew, and Carlos (and anyone else I missed as this wonderful team continues to grow!). They've created an atmosphere that is extremely inviting. If you are looking for a new dental office, especially if you struggle with anxiety when you think about going to the dentist, I cannot recommend Summit Dental Arts highly enough. They completely changed my perspective on dental care. read more

I really liked this dental office. The friendly staff made me feel comfortable right away, the dentist was wonderful, and the quality of the work was great. Truly a pleasant experience overall. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of a hiccup with insurance. When I first called, I was told they accepted my plan. After a pretty lengthy new‑patient intake (over an hour), I learned that my cleaning and filling would cost nearly $400 out of pocket. At that point, I was already committed, so I went ahead with it. Everything else was excellent, but the pricing felt a bit misleading. It might have been a misunderstanding, but I'd recommend verifying your coverage in detail before your appointment. read more

Summit Dental is a wonderful dentist, and a gem of a find! I have a lot of dental anxiety, and additionally am 7 months pregnant. I started having pretty severe tooth pain and needed to find a kind, gentle, trustworthy dentist fairly quickly. After searching through reviews of multiple dentists, Summit seemed like a good fit. After I explained my situation and concerns, they were extremely kind, gentle, professional, and helpful. They explained everything to me thoroughly, did not make me feel pressured or judged, and provided multiple accommodations to help me feel safe and calm. The work they did over the span of my two visits thus far worked immediately to alleviate the pain I was having. Additionally, they helped create a plan for me to tackle remaining dental issues after my pregnancy over time so I do not feel overwhelmed. I highly recommend Summit Dental, as they are professional, welcoming, and will take great care of you. Thank you to everyone at Summit Dental for the great care. read more
