    Rapper Artist P-Lo inspired Burrito
    Mai N.

A special unique take on the tasty fusion of Filipino and Mexican cuisine bundled up in a delicious burrito. Burritos are just so comforting. A friend of mine really wanted to check out the Rapper Artist P-Lo inspired Burrito that consists of their classic burrito topped with Sweet Longaniza, a fried egg, and their savory Stunna Sauce (fiery habenero salsa). It was damn tasty with that egg yolk dripping down the side of the burrito. Support your local business!

Grateful to have Señor Sisig as a neighborhood staple -- whether picking up a tocino Sisig Crunch-a-dilla for late lunch after Sunday chores, or an easy hang with drinks and apps at the well-stocked bar, or late night nachos, the food is always excellent and the staff friendly. Now if they would only stop tempting me with new collabs -- gotta try that Umami Ube Crab sandwich asap!

Senor Sisig continues to be just great! I had the Crunch-a-dilla the other day. I didn't know what to expect. The menu says to add 10-15 minutes extra for this, so I tried to plan accordingly. Lo and behold, within 20 minutes I get a message that my order is ready! How is that an extra 10 to 15 minutes? I picked it up and walked back to my office. It was still very hot. One bite into it and I was sold. It was absolutely delicious. It was also a fairly good size as well. I ate the entire thing and I was pretty full afterwards. This is yet another dish that I will order. Your food is so great!

If you're looking for food that's inspired by the Bay Area and only in the Bay Area, this is the spot! Trust me, let me put in somethin! In the urban landscape of Oakland, you'll find Señor sisig facing the street with a hybrid of open air feeling seating, as the rolling garage doors are put up to provide natural lighting and fresh air. But don't worry, you'll still smell all the delicious food they are making. We had wings, a mission burrito, a Crunchwrap, and the churros with ube macapuno dipping sauce. All of it was bussin! (And thats coming from someone whose first trip here wasn't a little lackluster, but everyone deserves second chances) Fair warning, some speciality items do have a wait time, so don't expect fast food restaurant speed when coming around for a bite. But trust, the wait is definitely worth it!

Senior Sisig is always a treat for us since we aren't exactly close to one. Got to try the Oakland only Ribeye Bistek Silog Burrito and it was fire! The rest of food was definitely delicious, just since this is a special I wanted to call it out. Came on a rainy Sunday so was not busy and got our food really quick. Great location, friendly staff, great food...Will be back again!

YEARS ago I tried one of the food trucks for Senor Sisig and remember not being impressed. Fast forward to now and for a co-workers lunch party we decided to walk over here with about 6 people. Surprisingly during lunch they had plenty of indoor seating. There is a kiosk you can order from or from an actual person. Their menu is pretty solid with plenty of options - burritos, salads, bowls. I will say this - their menu pictures online to NOT do their food justice. Based on the food menu pictures I was convinced that I would leave hunger but after ordering one of their bowls it was stacked with plenty of food AND flavor! The service was pretty quick and everything was very fresh and clean. I really like how they have roll-up windows so it gives an alternative vibe to the area. They have some great wall art along with a bar section. The price for the food is decent and I am very happy I tried this place again.

We got the California Sisig Burrito with pork. 10/10. I had no idea what to expect. I just know this place was popular and I had been wanting to give it a try. Not 1 complaint. The food was good. The staff were nice. And the restaurant was clean.

My first experience with Senor Sisig was having a burrito from their food trucks. Fast forward several years later, I finally had a chance to try some of their other menu items at one of their brick and mortar locations, conveniently located in the East Bay in Oakland. Parking is a bit tough, but free after hours (be sure to read the street signs). The restaurant is bright, has colorful wall murals that feature the Bay Area sports leaders (i.e., Curry, Henderson, Lynch, etc.) and Yay Area Rappers (i.e., Mac Dre, etc.), along with big windows areas that people can enjoy their food next to. There aren't many tables to accommodate large groups, at most maybe some can seat 3-5 people. It's fairly clean inside as well as the bathrooms - a huge plus! You can place your order with the staff or order on the kiosk. Some things to keep in mind is the menu items are a bit higher than a traditional burrito/taco spot; however, the food is a blend of Filipino and Mexican fusion. With their Sisig Tacos, The Senor Sisig Burrito, and California Sisig Burrito, Sisig Nachos, Sisig Fries, Sisig with Steamed Rice, Sisig Salad, you get a choice of pork, tocino, chicken, or tofu. There's also a Vegan menu available too. For most of the mains, you get to select the spice level at no extra charge. This time I tried the Chicken California Sisig Burrito ($16.75), which came out within ~10ish minutes. The burrito was very narrow/long, which made it easier to eat, but felt it lacked flavor and ingredients to make it more fulfilling to eat. The fries were a bit too soggy and perhaps the burrito could use more sauce or seasoning on the chicken to make the experience more delightful. I also tried their Crispy Sinigang Wings ($17) - these were flavorful, tender, and juicy. The side of fries ($3) were fairly basic. Overall, this is a great food spot to come with friends, family, or for date night, especially before doing an escape room or checking out a show/concert a few blocks downtown. :)

Senor Sisig has been on my want-to-go list for a while, and I finally got the chance to try it. We ordered a Tosilog Burrito with a side of habanero salsa and a Chicken Senor Sisig Bowl. I really enjoyed their Tosilog Burrito, which came with Filipino sweet pork, adobo garlic rice, tomatoes, and a fried egg. The sweet pork had a really unique and delicious flavor.

FOOD: Party ordered multiple burritos. They were salty for our liking and didn't have that oomph I typically get when eating Filipino food. It didn't mesh well together imo. But I wanted Asian food soo badly, haha. SERVICE: Given how crowded they get they were really efficient, and the line moved quickly. I got my food and left, what more could I ask for. AMBIANCE: Good luck getting a table...I mean you could just eat outside and bring the tray back, which is what I did.

My husband and I decided to stop by for dinner since they were on inKind. It has been a while, but I remember that they were located at a different location in Oakland. Anyway, I liked the open space and all the art decor! The restaurant was also extremely clean. There were only a few people inside when we arrived on a Tuesday around 5:30pm. I couldn't order on their kiosk since I was using inKind and needed to enter a check number. We waited about 10 min before the staff brought out our food. I ordered a Pork California Sisig Burrito, and my husband got their Chicken Sisig Crunch a Dilla (similar to a Crunchwrap Supreme). Both items were extremely salty and overpriced in my opinion, especially since there isn't anything special with their food. I was hoping for a different taste this time around, but I was wrong. Not sure if I'll come back unless they have happy hour, but I do love the vibes.

The pork sisig burrito and crispy wings were delicious, I highly recommend both of those. The service was fast and friendly, helpful and kind workers here. It is also clean inside with lots of seating. I like the open window you can sit at. I'll be back for sure.

Hi , How is the parking in that area , I'm not from Oakland so im not sure how the parking is and is it free? By card or coins?

There is street parking on and around the block. You will have to pay. There is also parking lots but also pay..

If you sub shredded cheese for nacho cheese on the nachos, is the shredded cheese melted or just tossed on top? (serious question for delivery where requests can't be made)

The shredded cheese would not be melted on top. Fyi, when we deliver nachos the nacho cheese and sour cream will come on the side by default. Hope this helps!

Do you have a happy hour?

Hi Jason - we do not currently have a happy hour, but we plan to develop a menu and program for one soon!

    Are there any gluten-free options?

Hi Stacey! We have a few options for GF menu items. For proteins, you can order our Tocino or Tofu Sisig, as well as our Vegan Chicken Sisig. For completely GF menu items our Tacos, Rice Plates, and Salads are fine as long as they are ordered with…

Are there any vegan options that are allium-free?

Hi Liza! Unfortunately, all our vegan protein options have garlic/onion in the marinade recipe.

Is this restaurant plant based only?

    No they also have meat.

The Roti Dip was OUT OF THIS WORLD (6/5). It exceeded my expectations. The Roti was very soft and crispy and the dip had an amazing coconut/herby taste. The waiter saw how much we loved the dip and brought us another one to use for our rice. Big shout out to her! The chicken wings were okay. Not that spicy for me (I have a high spice tolerance) but I expected them to be more savory. They were cooked very well though. I would give it a 3/5 Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with my main which was the crispy whole dried fish. I am a sucker for whole fish dishes so I was pretty excited and expectant for something spectacular. The fish itself was bland. It was very crispy and cooked well but not really seasoned. I had thought the sauce they serve with it was intended to impart flavor on the fish, but the sauce was just very tangy and not flavorful. I did finish the fish though but it's not something I would get again. Overall a 2.5/5. Their coconut rice was good though I was expecting more of a coconut flavor with it. I would rate that a 4/5. It was cooked very well. I think this is a really nice place though, perhaps I just did not order the right or more popular dishes. I'll be coming back for the ROTI WITH DIP (It was that good) and to try the other items in their menu.

I missed photos of the main entrees enjoying our time and honestly not sure what we ordered as we paid with a kiosk and didn't get a printed receipt even thought I typed in my email.. so that's frustrating with technology. If you want a receipt have it printed before you leave. My friend had a spicy eggplant dish and I had a tofu dish with rice and no fish sauce. Wish I could be more descriptive but can't say without an itemized receipt.. doesn't matter though, was all amazing flavors for both my friend (who travels and has worldly palette, and my self with a broad pallet only within the US) Flavors were amazing and service was on par. I did have an issue at first with the first server saying Pad Thai could be done with tofu and no fish sauce so I was excited, but then the next server said it was already mixed and not able to accommodate, but did find me an alternative I found flavorful with veggies, though missed having the peanuts in my dish. I had Pad See You instead without meat or fish sauce. Service overall was wonderful, attentive and didn't have to wait for anything. It looked promising enough -- though had I checked the reviews first, I might've shown up wearing emotional armor and maybe a helmet. Their OpenTable rules read like they were drafted by a team of lawyers who really, really love boundaries. The "2‑hour limit for parties of 5+" stood out. Cute foreshadowing, as it turns out. Our group of six arrived on time and were greeted by a hostess who seemed to be filling every role except chef. She seated us outside with a lovely estuary view -- honestly, the scenery and cocktails were doing most of the hospitality heavy lifting. The food? Excellent. Truly. The Little Lao Platter, Pad Thai, Fried Rice -- all winners. I'd tell you what I paid, but I never received a receipt, so let's just call it "a mystery donation." Service, however, took a nosedive. My plate was whisked away mid‑bite like I'd failed to meet some secret speed‑eating quota. Then we watched the table across from us get a full birthday serenade while our celebration -- clearly noted on the reservation -- got the silent treatment. And finally, at exactly 1.5 hours (not the advertised 2), we were politely but firmly asked to vacate. Nothing says "happy birthday" like being evicted from your table. The surprise service charge at the end was the final plot twist. Apparently it's "common practice," though mysteriously absent from their very thorough reservation rules. Impressive attention to detail -- except for the part where it matters. Great food, beautiful view, and service that feels like you're on a timer in an escape room. If you go, enjoy the meal... and maybe bring a stopwatch.

I came here for a family birthday dinner. It's located in greenhouse so there's plenty of parking…read morearound, even if it means just a tiny bit further away. The restaurant is really big and we sat at a table for 14 pretty comfortably. We were also here on a Saturday night and the restaurant was full. The service is your typical Chinese restaurant vibe where you leave a little bit emotionally abused after paying for overly priced menu items. We did the à la cart and easily spent up to $1500. Better off with the family plan meal but nothing was of interest to us except one or two dishes. It took forever to come out and I mean FOREVER to a point where we almost cancelled a few dishes and called it a night, but they kept saying it's being made. With as many people and as massive as the restaurant was, and the price tags, I was expecting a more efficient service. A couple of times we saw our dish being brought to the wrong table and the people going "oh we didn't order this." With all of that out of the way, I am giving them an average score of 3 starts because the food did bring them back up. It was actually really good. My favorite of all things we ordered was their sea bass with string beans. The sea bass was fried crispy, garnished salty and still soft inside. It paired really well with the string beans. We ordered a bunch of other things that I couldn't tell you what the name was in English and they were above average taste wise. Their complimentary dessert however, was mass produced and tasted like they added too much water to it. This was the only one I was disappointed in. I still say this place is extremely overpriced but for a family meal experience and if you ever want to impress a date, why not.

This is the restaurant of choice for my wife's family gatherings, and she has a pretty big family,…read moreso we're here quite a bit. To be honest, Fusion used to be terrible, and I used to absolutely hate coming here. Food was slow in coming, what came out was often cold, the dining room was loud, and service was impersonal, at best. On one visit, half the menu was unavailable, requested silverware was crooked, and numerous glasses, bowls, and plates were chipped or damaged. On another visit, I saw multiple families sneak out of the restaurant, walk to McDonald's across the plaza, and smuggle food back in to tide them over until their orders came. After a while, I wasn't alone in meeting the decree of, "come to Fusion on Saturday," with a groan. However, when HL Peninsula opened in Castro Valley and established itself as a threat to Fusion's business, it served as a wake-up call. Food immediately got better (from "below-average" to "know what to order and you'll be fine"), the speed of service improved, and food temperature became consistent and proper. It's not QUITE a "different restaurant" feel, and there are still some negatives. It's still loud and service could still be better (there have been times where chicken wings have taken over an hour to come out, which is a "should not occur"). However, at least I don't dread coming here anymore.

I have been super excited to try hawking bird, and it did not disappoint. We got the satay chicken salad, curry fried chicken rice bowl, pickles, and the calamansi soda. Satay chicken salad -- very fresh and flavorful. the grilled chicken was very well marinated, and had lots of flavor. It came with a vinaigrette and a yummy peanut dipping sauce on the side. We thought it could use a little more greens, as the portion felt somewhat small. Curry fried chicken bowl -- this was our favorite thing that we got! The curry was flavorful and there was the perfect amount of it over the chicken and rice. There was a healthy portion of fried chicken and rice, which we appreciated. The chicken itself was super crispy and yummy. All of the components went very well together, and we really loved this one! Pickles -- this was just okay to me. the pickled vegetables consisted of assorted veggies including green beans, peppers, and cabbage. The veggies had a slight sweetness to them, but also were spicy! Not my favorite, but still pretty good. Calamansi soda -- honorable mention because I love calamansi and was so excited to see that they had this as an option! If you are a calamansi lover, you definitely enjoy this. it was crisp, refreshing, and had an authentic calamansi flavor. I'd definitely get it again! Overall, we really enjoyed our meal! We thought that the portions were the perfect size for sharing, which we loved. Next time, I'd definitely get the curry rice bowl again because it was so good! The decor was super cute, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you are craving a chicken dish, we recommend you check this place out!

Order at the counter and they bring food to you. - kmg: The sauce did the khao mun gai did not taste as flavorful (less funky, more watered down). - green beans: similar to above, more watered down flavors. Was expecting more funk and spice and sweetness like what they used to serve. - tater tots: crunchy with a hint of tom yum (I think) seasoning - Lao sausage: a tad dry, again would want more flavorful seasoning Slow service (took 20 mins for us to get our soup broth that came with our rice dish, and prob 30 mins for us to get a side of pickles). Ambiance as loud and echoey and it sounded like a large fan or blender was going for a long time (which was still decently loud despite us sitting furthest end from the kitchen).

The bites are generally really good too, though I wasn't a huge fan of the chili cucumbers. Try the Tomato Beef cocktail-- it's really yummy! The Li Hing Ramos is a good go-to if you like egg white drinks, and the seasonal milk punch has always been good. The ambiance is very cool, not bright inside, but bright colors, very hip. Such a beautiful interior space vibrant in celebration for AAPI Heritage month, and a super fun cocktail menu that was the perfect post-meal moment (both photo-worthy and tastebuds approved). We also noticed they have a cool food menu too filled with yummy and innovative dishes like Cheesy Char Siu Tots, Szechuan Salt & Pepper Wings, Korean Fried Mapo Tofu, BBQ Char Siu Ribs, and more. They also have nice swag ~ we took home a hat that resembled a Kirkland hat that spelled out "Oakland Viridian" (IYKYK). Drink-wise we ordered the Soy Sauce Old Fashioned and the Café Sua Daddy, which essentially is an espresso martini with a fun twist with black sesame and an egg cream foam. Both drinks were outstanding and presentation was beyond..I wished we could have stayed for round two, but duty calls! Ride-share and or BART suggested in this area, it's just a bit congested downtown to park. Service was fun, prices fair for the whole experience. Loved it!
