Egg Roll (1) / five spice chicken / broccoli beef & Chicken Teriyaki (1)
Demauri M.

I have eaten at Sezchuan since I was born. My parents would go to this place on a regular and it's been family staple here in Tulsa. I decided to share that experience with my fiancé since she has moved to Tulsa and she agreed to give it a spin. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken, Five Spice Chicken, Broccoli Beef, and an Egg Roll. As usual, the food was good. It seems be the best during lunch time as the rice is usually fluffier and I'd imagine the grease is much more fresh. I will come back again of course. It's such a calm experience in the restaurant itself and the service is usually fast and satisfying. AND they give you a huge cup when you want water instead of a soft drink. Most places will give you a tiny cup that requires frequent refills. Idk how old the place is but the ambiance inside is still the same as it was when I was 5 years old.

This is what's left after dinner. A large order of broccoli beef and noodles is 2 full containers of yummy food.

The food here is good. The portions are large, and it's fresh. I like the broccoli and beef. The orange chicken is also good. We drove thru because it's very small inside. Our family of 4 ordered 2 regulars and 2 larges, and we ended up with tons leftover. Like, we each have a full meal of leftovers for tomorrow, so keep that in mind when I tell you we spent over $60 on our food. We will know better for next time, but leftover Chinese food is not a bad thing.

I have been coming here for almost ten years now., several times a month in fact. The staff is so nice and friendly, they are almost like family. The food is truly the best in town. It feels like i have tried half the menu by now. All the choices are good and use fresh ingredients. The food is made to order, so it may take a little longer on busy nights, but is well worth it. The menu is vast and will take a few minutes to look over if not familiar with the choices. They do have a few tables available for indoor seating. The dining room isn't fancy, but after all we're going for the food! The drive through line is the most popular stretching to the street on busy nights. This place has my business as long as they stay open, so go give it a try and get something new!

What it looks like outside of Fried dumpling

I'm sorry, I really wanted to love this place. But Nooooo!!!! I ordered orange chicken. Super salty!!!! Tastes like Hoisin sauce, Salt, sugar, soy sauce. No orange flavor at all. Very disappointing as I've read that this place was super good. Well, it wasn't according to my taste buds. My toddler loves orange chicken and she didn't eat it at all. It came with Fried rice. It wasn't awful, just tasted like soy sauce poured on wok fried rice with oil. Dumplings weren't bad, I give them 2 stars for that part. I'm sure it will taste 100% better hot in person. Dipping sauce was delicious. Stuffing inside had a bit of an odd flavoring to it, couldn't pin point it. Cream cheese wonton. Filling is too little and wrapper is too chewy!! Okay, reason why I didn't want to give them anything higher than 2 stars..... Lady on the phone said they have no more Cream cheese wonton for the night. Told me to try their fried dumplings, it's delicious!!! So when my husband got there, he didn't know but she charged him for Cream cheese wonton and they somehow ended up in my bag and available without knowledge. He had already paid and felt the Wontons after he had walked out. Looks like there was some sort of misunderstanding. But I'm upset about that part. If I knew there were cream cheese wontons, I would've never ordered the dumplings.

Our server was extremely friendly and quickly brought us drinks. Since this was our first time it took us a while to look over the menu which was quite extensive. The entire back page of the menu was filled with lunch specials which are priced very reasonably at $7.99. We all ordered from the lunch menu. I ordered Chicken lo Mein anda cup of Hot & Sour soup. The other people in my party ordered Sesame Chicken and General Tso's Chicken. All three of us were extremely pleased with the service and the quality of the food. My hot and sour soup was extremely delicious. It was chock full of sliced mushrooms and several pieces of tofu and it was almost a meal in itself and was served very hot. My Chicken lo Mein was equally delicious. The others in my party praised their meals as well and all three of us felt that we had finally found an excellent Chinese restaurant. I look forward to my next visit.

You can get all the common dishes here but you can also get some unusual dishes that are very authentic. My grandson once ordered jelly fish. You can't get that at very many local restaurants. Another thing I like is that they have a couple of large round tables with lazy Susans. Our extended family sat at one of those tables once. It was fun putting the things we wanted to share on the lazy Susan and being able to spin it around and try what we wanted. It made for fun conversation talking about the different dishes. That was when our grandson ordered jellyfish. The restaurant is fairly small but the large tables make the restaurant good for groups. I think this would be an excellent place for a Yelp event. They have a lunch menu but you have to ask for it. It includes some of the popular Asian dishes for $9:95. They have smaller portions that come with a choice of soup or egg roll. Danny and I asked to see the lunch menu, but decided to order off the main menu. We split Crispy Tofu with garlic sauce and egg rolls. I liked the presentation of the egg rolls. They were cut diagonally and arranged nicely on the plate. The tofu dish was quite tasty. Next time, I plan to get Mei Fun. I have had it here before and loved the variety of flavors. The service wasn't terrible but it wasn't wonderful. We got our food in a timely manner, but we felt rushed to order and she didn't check to see if we needed anything or refill our water glasses. Service here has been excellent in the past. I am glad we came back to Chengdu and were reminded of how much we like it. We will be back soon.

I enjoyed the green beans but they had a little bit of a lemony flavor that had a weird after taste. I think the Kung Pao could have used a little more heat. The price for the food was decent.

The restaurant still caters Korean/Chinese food hybrid, predominantly Chinese food though. A few positive features worth mentioning. I really like the inside of this restaurant. It always appears very clean. The food is relatively cheap when comparing to the like of Chengdu. Hot tea is served in a hot tea pot, not in a cup. YES! YES!! YES!!! I feel like the Korean food at Chopsticks lack the "Korean" flavor. If the server did not tell me the Jampong soup is Korean, I would have thought it's Chinese. The beansprouts, cucumbers, Napa cabbage, and seafood scream out Korean but the taste says something otherwise. It really does have a generic taste. The Mapo tofu has soft tofu in some sort of shredded meat sauce. It's a little salty but goes well with white rice. The white rice was a little hard on this particular visit. I guess it's going to be another 6-12 months for me to come back to try Chopsticks again. Sigh...

Excellent Thai Restaurant in South Bixby…read more Lisu Thai has a very comprehensive menu of Thai and other Asian cuisines. They are conveniently located at 133rd and Memorial Dr in Bixby. The sit-down style restaurant restaurant has plenty of room for individual guests or larger groups, and has a pleasant and restful atmosphere. The staff are courteous and helpful and the wait times are minimal. Take-out service is also available. The food is excellent. They have a number of lunch special options, but also offer a wide variety of popular appetizers and entrés that should please everyone. I have eaten here at least three times, and have brought co-workers as well. All are impressed by the range of options, the quality, and hospitality. I would suggest tone down the music a bit as it might not be for everyone.
