Egg Roll (1) / five spice chicken / broccoli beef & Chicken Teriyaki (1)
Demauri M.

I have eaten at Sezchuan since I was born. My parents would go to this place on a regular and it's been family staple here in Tulsa. I decided to share that experience with my fiancé since she has moved to Tulsa and she agreed to give it a spin. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken, Five Spice Chicken, Broccoli Beef, and an Egg Roll. As usual, the food was good. It seems be the best during lunch time as the rice is usually fluffier and I'd imagine the grease is much more fresh. I will come back again of course. It's such a calm experience in the restaurant itself and the service is usually fast and satisfying. AND they give you a huge cup when you want water instead of a soft drink. Most places will give you a tiny cup that requires frequent refills. Idk how old the place is but the ambiance inside is still the same as it was when I was 5 years old.

This is what's left after dinner. A large order of broccoli beef and noodles is 2 full containers of yummy food.

The food here is good. The portions are large, and it's fresh. I like the broccoli and beef. The orange chicken is also good. We drove thru because it's very small inside. Our family of 4 ordered 2 regulars and 2 larges, and we ended up with tons leftover. Like, we each have a full meal of leftovers for tomorrow, so keep that in mind when I tell you we spent over $60 on our food. We will know better for next time, but leftover Chinese food is not a bad thing.

I have been coming here for almost ten years now., several times a month in fact. The staff is so nice and friendly, they are almost like family. The food is truly the best in town. It feels like i have tried half the menu by now. All the choices are good and use fresh ingredients. The food is made to order, so it may take a little longer on busy nights, but is well worth it. The menu is vast and will take a few minutes to look over if not familiar with the choices. They do have a few tables available for indoor seating. The dining room isn't fancy, but after all we're going for the food! The drive through line is the most popular stretching to the street on busy nights. This place has my business as long as they stay open, so go give it a try and get something new!

What it looks like outside of Fried dumpling

I'm sorry, I really wanted to love this place. But Nooooo!!!! I ordered orange chicken. Super salty!!!! Tastes like Hoisin sauce, Salt, sugar, soy sauce. No orange flavor at all. Very disappointing as I've read that this place was super good. Well, it wasn't according to my taste buds. My toddler loves orange chicken and she didn't eat it at all. It came with Fried rice. It wasn't awful, just tasted like soy sauce poured on wok fried rice with oil. Dumplings weren't bad, I give them 2 stars for that part. I'm sure it will taste 100% better hot in person. Dipping sauce was delicious. Stuffing inside had a bit of an odd flavoring to it, couldn't pin point it. Cream cheese wonton. Filling is too little and wrapper is too chewy!! Okay, reason why I didn't want to give them anything higher than 2 stars..... Lady on the phone said they have no more Cream cheese wonton for the night. Told me to try their fried dumplings, it's delicious!!! So when my husband got there, he didn't know but she charged him for Cream cheese wonton and they somehow ended up in my bag and available without knowledge. He had already paid and felt the Wontons after he had walked out. Looks like there was some sort of misunderstanding. But I'm upset about that part. If I knew there were cream cheese wontons, I would've never ordered the dumplings.

Been coming to this Szechuan for years. Consistently good food. Nothing fancy, but classic Chinese take away.

Kraken Killer Seafood was one of the biggest restaurant surprises I've had in years. I've driven past the place on 51st Street many times and never gave it much thought. My wife and I finally tried it Friday, and frankly I expected a decent, run-of-the-mill meal at today's increasingly painful restaurant prices. Boy, was I wrong. I had the Asian sausage with sticky rice for about $10 and a shrimp dish served over French fries with an Asian sauce. The shrimp were terrific--fried just enough to have a slight crunch while remaining tender and flavorful, and the sauce really worked. I'm a sausage lover, so I'm fairly hard to impress. Their Asian sausage was unlike any sausage I've had before, and it was delicious. The sticky rice was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the fried cod with coleslaw for around $13. The portion was generous, the fish was good, and the coleslaw was excellent. And I am a coleslaw freak who rarely compliments somebody else's coleslaw. What impressed me most was the combination of quality, variety and price. I've had plenty of excellent restaurant meals, but usually at places where I expected excellence and paid accordingly. I did not expect this from Kraken, which made the experience that much better. The menu has enough variety that I want to go back and work my way through it. If the quality is this consistent across the menu, Kraken has found itself a regular customer. One warning: check the hours before you go. They have somewhat unusual hours and are closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I've actually shown up more than once only to discover they were closed. Kraken Killer Seafood is a hidden gem. In an era when restaurant prices seem to go up every time you look at a menu, finding food this good at prices this reasonable was a genuinely pleasant surprise. We'll be back.

Well, anything battered and deep fried is actually pretty boring. Greasy, tasty but actually boring. But I still eat it. And I still regret eating it. Somehow when you put gravy on something deep fried, we have a different discussion. Boring goes to delightful! What was the topic again? Oh! Chick O' Fish A large restaurant chain scattered across the south. Never heard of it until I ran across reviews for the Tulsa location. The restaurant is favored by gourmands. The servings enormous and greasy. The three-piece fish / three-piece shrimp meal exceeded the count of three. No one should complain about the amount of food. A pile of battered and deep-fried aquatic creatures, heaped atop a fair amount of fried okra. I ordered the slaw, to accomplish my goal of eating a serving of vegetables every week. The slaw is very good. Nothing was exceptional. The fish filets, more like fish cigars were fair. The shrimp. There was something about the shrimp. Maybe not fresh, maybe the seasoning. Something... I just don't know. I was hoping that I would not have to deal with gastronomical distress tomorrow. Not a problem, I have a digestive system that a buzzard would envy. An uneventful passage. The restaurant is clean the service is friendly. Order at the counter, pay for a numbered card. Fill your drink cup, attach the number to the top of the paper towel holder and wait. The food arrives soon with a basket of sauces. I couldn't find one out of the bunch that I liked. The restaurant has good reviews and I respect the rating reviewers have given. It just didn't tickle my taste buds.
