Sew Happy made me so happy (see what I did there? They probably hear that alot). I emailed Sew Happy on April 27 to ask if they could embroider my wife's business logo on a very nice and very expensive Headley & Bennett apron that was going to be a Mother's Day gift. I didn't expect a quick response back because I emailed them on a Saturday but Christi from Sew Happy responded back to me within two hours. She informed me of the cost to digitize the logo and the cost for the embroidery and I was very happy with the price. I stopped by their shop to drop off the apron the following Monday and within a couple of days she sent me a sample of the embroidered logo which I was incredibly pleased with. I went ahead and approved the embroidery and two days later I was notified that the apron was ready to be picked up. The logo is brown and so is the apron but the photo doesn't show how nice it looks in person. Most importantly, my wife loved the final result. We plan to return to Sew Happy to have them embroider the logo on some shirts, caps and canvas bags. Christi and her husband are so sweet. The two times that I met with them we talked for over 10 minutes. The image with the white background is the sample. The image with the brown background is the apron. I highly recommend using Sew Happy's services for your embroidery needs. While I was there I discovered that they do alot of work for the Claremont Colleges where I work. Sew Mad! I took a small lumbar pillow in to have one letter embroidered on it. Christi, the owner of Sew Happy, told me she would text me examples of different monogram fonts she could use and I could choose one. She also told me it would take her 10 days, but I could have my pillow back sooner than that. I never received texts from her with font options and I had to call her at least 5 times to check on my pillow. She lied to me over and over about when the pillow would be ready. Finally, after 7 weeks (!) I got my pillow back. The font is supposed to be a capital J, but it's actually an upside down r. Unbelievable! To top it off, she had the audacity to charge me for it! Needless to say, I would never recommend her work. Update: After I posted the above review, I got a nasty text from the owner late that night. No apology at all. I took screenshots of her texts from my watch. Then the next day I got threatening emails from a mysterious 949 number. Finally, I had to block both of these numbers. I ordered several shirts including a jacket with our school logo. I was very specific about what I like and want on my shirt. It was all written on my receipt but was ignored by the business. They made all the shirts with bling and red embroidery when I specifically asked for a blue embroidery and no bling. When I tried to contact the company I had to leave four messages and never received a call back. I got a text message informing me that there was something wrong with my phone and that they had been trying to call me. None of this was true! Nor did they try to resolve the issue, it actually turned into an argument over my phone. This was over a year ago and I still have the shirts in a bag and have not had this resolved. They have terrible customer service and I do not recommend them for anyone. read more

Went to get my jacket embroidered here and it looks wonderful! I took it in on a Wednesday and they told me it would be done the following week. Exactly one week after dropping off my jacket I got a call from them advising me that my jacket was ready. Extremely unprofessional. I placed an order over 3 months ago and never received my merchandise, nor did I receive a phone call to follow up. I then contacted the company for a refund. They finally agreed to give me my money back, and a week later I still didn't have it. I had to call several times and leave several messages before I was able to speak to someone and they had no explanation why my refund was not sent when promised. After placing an order I was told it would be ready in one week. After 8 days I called to see if the order was ready. I was told the person in charge would call me right back. No call. After another week I called again. My order had not been completed, and the person I spoke to said she didn't know what I wanted done. It was as if I had never placed the order. Then I asked to speak with the gentleman who took my order. He was completely clueless about it and when I asked if he remembered the order at all he said he had a lot going on in his shop. Sew not happy. A group of us ordered school shirts and sweatshirts. Initially I was very surprised at how long the order would take, a month! But, we were excited to finally get good-looking shirts for work. My card was charged and my contact information was taken. The month came and went. I was told through word of mouth that they would not be done for another month. No apology, no discount, no contact from the company to me. I thought how unprofessional. How can a company that prints t-shirts, not get orders done in less than 2 months??? The shirts finally came in, no apology...nothing. Our black zip-up sweatshirts look visually faded. Our embroidered names are so small, it wouldn't matter if they were even there. The only positive was the bejeweling on the back. The t-shirts also have problems. The school's name was not properly capitalized, the double "LL"s are actually capital "i"s, and elementary was left lower case. It's part of the name so it's a proper noun...and we are teachers wearing them :/ The only positive about the t-shirt is the texture and fit. read more

I am "Sew Unhappy" with the sweater I purchased. First of all,it took about 2 months to get my faded black sweater. The quality and color of the sweater is so poor.The sweater is so faded that it looks like it has been out in the sun for years.
