Pretty good sushi! The outdoor seating is a big plus when you have a dog. Really relaxing and perfect for a nice summer day.

We're regulars here and usually love it reliable sushi, decent vibe, sometimes slow service but overall good. This time we asked for the chef pick five rolls, because we've tried so many already. Well this turned out to be a $25 per-roll... lesson in regret. It was nothing special, just a lot of cream cheese pretending to be creativity. Six people, no booze, $350 later... still hungry and mildly offended.

I must admit I had very low expectations about getting sushi in Montana, but Seven has proven me wrong! Online reservations were limited, however there seemed to be plenty of tables when we walked in for dinner. The restaurant feels slightly upscale, but casual enough for a comfortable atmosphere. Price is as expected for sushi. There were several interesting combinations that hit the right spot. Ziggy Stardust was my personal favorite, delicious in both flavor and texture. Strawberry Fields was another unique combination that pleasantly surprised us. We also ordered a Salmon Poke, Hammer Roll, and Big Sky Roll - all were pretty good. They did charge us an extra $1 when we asked for a side of spicy mayo and will charge a 2.5% fee for credit cards. All in all this is a pretty good spot and we had a great time!

$21 waygu burger charred beyond belief, wilted slimy lettuce and onions. So gross.

We have been to seven 5-6 times over the past year, it was always great. Yesterday, however was so disappointing and honestly gross. First off, our server was lovely, she is not the reason for this. The food was so mediocre. I ordered two naked ninja rolls, my husband ordered a burger, my kiddo ordered chicken tenders. Food took over an hour to arrive. When it did, kiddos tenders were cold, one of my ninja rolls was prepared correctly, the other had plain tofu in it without tempura that was just gross. And then my husbands wagyu burger was honestly disgusting, it was charred beyond recognition, the "lettuce" was old and wilted, the onions (which we asked not to have on it) were slimy. It was a $21 dollar burger that was worse than what they serve at Jack in the box at 2 am. I told the server about the sushi issue and the manager took off our sodas? I appreciated it but the kitchen was so bad yesterday we definitely won't be back.

This is TOTAL BS. This is two rolls. 6 slices on the right and 8 on the left. Get your portions right. WTF. Go to Hooked or Dave's.

Outstanding! We absolutely loved it. The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go back.

What can I say, good sushi! For a landlock state Seven does a great job with their fish. I enjoy the upscale vibe as far as the ambiance goes. The sushi here is good and I have always had great service. I would rank it in my top 3 sushi places here in Bozeman!

I have never had a bad experience here and have been eating here for years! The taste is always fresh and full of flavor! Service is always fast and friendly. If I could eat here every day I would!! My favorite rolls are the Alaskan and the Jawdropper. We got it to go this last time as we do on Valentine's Day (what's better than sushi in PJs and a movie?!) and it was delicious, even on a busy holiday!!

    No Rice Handroll. Thanks Connor!

Great food Great…read morevibes Good service This place can be girls night out, dude meet up, family gatherings or date night. The wait is not that long.. we came here as walk in's 2x on our 1week stay that started in Bozeman, went down to Yellowstone, then to Idaho for UTV riding and then to Jackson Hole WY to go see the Teton National Park. It was nice to walk around the local shops while we waited and then afterwards to work off those delicious carbs. Thin crust pizzas clean, fresh, not heavy and seasonal ingredients. The crust is soooo good. Chewy and some char. We had: Montana Burger Royale My teen son dreams about this. Yes its 27.00 and he said its the BEST burger he's ever had. I would have to agree (and we live in Austin TX where there's great cow) -the burger meat melted in your mouth -the egg dripping as you break the yolk was perfection. The bacon so juicy, the brioche bun (that was the winning touch) We shared: Hot Honey Pizza- so good 9/10 Spicy Burrata- also great. 8/10 Mac n cheese- that was the only miss. Way under seasoned and the white sauce seemed to get sucked up by the pasta so the dish was super dry. 3/10 Frites and Fondue- fries were great. Thick cut with finely shaved pecorino. Could have used a heaping more of the shaved cheese. -the fondue was ok, seemed still under seasoned or just not creamy enough? I'd swap that for some roasted garlic with the truffle oil. 6/10 Local brews and ciders were great! 9/10 Huckleberry Cheesecake 9/10 save room for this bad boy. We split it between 4 people. Not too sweet. Tart and delightful! The world cup was on the TV so it was a hopping place even as it rained during a late June evening. Parking garage nearby is free for 2hrs so thats cool! Wasn't sure if we should order one or two because the sizing wasn't clear, but a lot of reviews mentioned the pizzas are more around the personal size. I'd say two people could probably share a pizza no problem. We got the vodka pizza, added Italian sausage, as well as the pepperoni. The three of us nearly polished off both pizzas. The pizzas were good, but the undercarriage was pretty floppy, which made me think it probably could have cooked maybe a tad bit longer. They have some good looking pasta dishes as well!

From favorite to least: Live Mussels - 12/10 very zesty, and the broth was fresh and herby with shallots, thyme, garlic, parsley. We dipped the seafood from our entrees into the leftover broth for the acidity and flavor! Stuffed Portabello Mushroom - 10/10 there were so many ingredients in this dish it was almost comical but it all worked together very well! Portobello mushroom stuffed with ricotta(?), blue cheese, lump crab meat, topped with chives and lemon zest, with pesto and balsamic vinegar sauces LOL. So much going on but very good. Bacon was a bit salty in this ensemble though. Fettuccine a la Verona - 10/10 light and fettuccine is in a fresh seafood broth. Plump springy prawns with burrata and has a good ratio of vegetables (artichoke, spinach, lions mane mushroom) Wild Alaskan Salmon Penne - 9/10 very indulgent with bacon, pesto, caramelized onions and lions mane mushroom under melted cheese. Salmon was fresh but felt under-seasoned on its own. I loved the mushrooms but I didn't love the dry/hard melted cheese on top. Chicken Parmigiana - 8/10 tomato sauce is very fragrant. A bit bland otherwise. All entrees came with a soft crumbly bread that I only enjoyed with the mussels broth. Lovely server and restaurant! Charming location. Big portions, we took leftovers.

The Roasted Beet Salad was cool, refreshing, and a perfect complement to the appetizer. For my main course, I had the Catch of the Day--Sea Bass--prepared with Thai-inspired flavors. It was outstanding. I never would have believed jasmine rice could be prepared in such a savory and flavorful way. Every bite was exceptional. My date ordered the Lobster and Grits and absolutely loved it. Our servers were attentive, knowledgeable, and offered robust wine pairing recommendations that complemented each course perfectly. To start, we had the daily ceviche, which was a salmon ceviche with a bright citrus marinade, garnished with oranges and served alongside crispy wonton crackers. It was fresh, light, and a perfect way to kick off the meal. Next, we shared the hot crab dip, which was rich, warm, and packed with flavor. Served with grilled bread, it was the kind of dish you keep dipping back into because it's just that good. For our main dish, we shared the Brown Butter Scallops -- prosecco salt dusted scallops served with arugula pesto, herb mushrooms, and bacon & butternut squash arancini. The scallops themselves were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, but the real standout on the plate was the arancini. Crispy on the outside with a rich, savory filling of bacon and butternut squash, it paired beautifully with the rest of the dish and completely stole the show. The entire meal was beautifully plated and thoughtfully prepared. The only small note is that the restaurant can get a bit loud when it's full, which can make conversation with your dinner companion slightly harder. That said, the lively atmosphere shouldn't stop you from enjoying a meal here. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience. If you go, do not skip the bacon and butternut squash arancini--it was the absolute star of the dish and truly sensational.

The bread arrived stale, the wine selection was surprisingly limited and the wines we tried were of poor quality. I ordered a steak that was served cold--almost as if it had barely been heated. To their credit, they offered to remake it, but the second steak was still severely undercooked for what I had requested and had to be sent back again. My husband's dish was equally disappointing and lacked any real flavor. Having lived in France, he commented that this was the worst French dining experience he has ever had.
