She takes time with the patients goes over their scans if need be and explains everything in detail. I have had the pleasure of seeing one other doctor here and she was equally amazing. I have been coming here for a few years and the staff is equally amazing. They are so many things that I love about the office but if I had to choose one it would be the Robes that you change into before your I keep telling them that the doctor needs to sell them in the office. The office is beautifully decorated I have had the pleasure of starting out at the old office and that one was equally as nice. My appointment was at 6:15 a.m. it was the best I did not have to be late for work and the appointment was very quick the doctor was not there to read my scans and it was okay they called me back right away for a follow-up that was needed. I hope other doctors offices think about early appointments. Five stars are just not enough if you're looking for a great place to go for your mammogram don't hesitate to call Bay Radiology.

The way I found out about them is Dr. Laura Amodei contacted me to purchase some of my artwork for their office which features art all from local female artists. For a decade up until then I went to a larger, way less personal imaging center. This is a much more comfortable and comforting experience all around. They run their appointments on time, so when I had my annual scans done last week I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes and then contacted with the results by phone within a couple of hours. They use the latest technology giving you extra peace of mind. I only wish I had found them sooner!

I have had significant issues with charges being more than quoted over the phone, incomplete communication about authorization, deductibles, and other things. However, generally speaking, they have gotten the job done. I don't like that parking needs validation and they only validate up to 1.5 hours - and some mammograms take longer with ultrasound and additional imaging. They also can be a bit short over the phone, and fail to provide context that other radiology facilities might be more inclined to include. However, I do appreciate that this location has a broad range of services available and is prompt with answering calls and attempting to answer questions. Never my first choice as there are some amazing radiologist in the area, but a lot of them have inconvenient appointment times and can take months to schedule. I wouldn't suggest parking on the street, as the police ticket cars immediately when the meter expires. The parking garage is also an issue when going for a first mammogram as they tend to take longer. For subsequent visits, they are good about getting patients out very quickly while still doing what needs to be done. Though, you may feel rushed, I do like it better this way than worrying about having to pay for going over time in the parking garage. One thing I don't like about them is that they had been charging $20 for a CD to bring back to your provider. The other radiologists that I've been to have never charged me for a CD, so I was very disappointed as my provider was shocked that the CD costs exta and she prefers the CDs to go over the findings with patients in an extended consultation with lots of visuals - she apparently needs to CD to do this effectively, so I was not able to receive the same level of detail about my treatment plan that I previously received, due to having my imaging done at Tower Radiology. I hope that they reconsider this charge. Anyway, I think it is better to know what to expect going into it. I added an extra star for convenience.

I have always had great experiences with the technicians and front office staff for my mammograms. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that sometimes finding availability in their schedule can be an issue. Sometimes, I have had to schedule weeks out and their office hours are not conducive for folks who work 9-5. However, if you have flexibility during the weekdays I highly recommend them!

Evidently, they take walk ins for x-rays, but you need an appointment for other imaging like ultrasounds and mammograms. APPEARANCES: Both the office and the staff look professional and well kept. I thought it was a little strange that the only magazines they have are Sports Illustrated, ESPN Magazine, and other sports publications. The TV was playing a poker tournament, so maybe they cater to a specific crowd? Anyhow, I definitely noticed all the sports stuff. POLICIES: They don't allow you to take any pictures or videos inside the office, which I think means they don't want you to take pictures of your own x-rays or ultrasounds. But maybe there is some other reason... The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way, was that the ultrasound technician wouldn't let me watch what she was doing on the screen. I asked if I could see, and she said there was not really anything to see... I interpreted that as her assuming I wouldn't know what I was looking at, so she didn't want to take the time to tilt the screen in my direction. Guess what, though? They're my guts and if I want to see them, humor me dadgummit! At the end, when I asked her if I could look at the images, she said the radiologist had to look at them first, and she couldn't review anything with a patient. It seems pretty ridiculous to me not to let a patient watch their own ultrasound on the screen and then not let them look at the images at the end either. I don't know if that was her own personal policy or one that the office holds to. TOTAL TIME: I walked in at 3:20 p.m. and walk out at 3:34 p.m. Very quick turnaround! OVERALL: I would come here again if I needed x-rays or other imaging. Next time however, I think I'll be more assertive asking to see my images. But overall it was a quick and painless experience.

The one about three years ago I got was sizable. I got a check in the mail today that the service was performed 4/29/24 and I just got it in the mail today which is the 28th of May 2025. Totally unacceptable. This comes from our HSA and apparently Advanced is so money hungry that they have to have it right then! Why not reverse the amount to the member's card or put a hold on it until it's paid....no, they don't do that. My daughter in law has had the same experience as I did coming off the card and her insurance paid for it totally. She too was hacked over this. Oh well, it works just fine now because the new group actually sends a bill and I pay it as soon as I get it. As for my care, experiences have always been somewhere between great and meh....a lot more of meh though. I've had a number mammographies that I thought they were going to kill me....and just when you thought they got what they were looking for, they call you back for a rescreen. Haven't had that so far with my new place. Time will tell...I just know that they have been much more caring than the majority of techs I've had at Advanced.

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience…read more I am absolutely furious with how my 7-year-old son and I were treated today. He had a scheduled MRI with contrast, and although his doctor accidentally sent the wrong order, we caught it immediately and had it fixed right away. The first technician told us everything was good to go and even said, "We have a new advanced machine that can get this done in 45 minutes. Get him dressed and we'll get started." We waited about 15 minutes, only for a completely different technician to walk in and tell us they suddenly couldn't see him today because "all the nurses are leaving and it's too late." This was after my child had already changed and mentally prepared himself--no small thing for a frightened 7-year-old who was already anxious. To make matters worse, the second technician dismissed the first one, saying she was "silly" and "doesn't know what she's talking about." Completely unprofessional. They tried to reschedule us, but even that was a mess. I was told I'd have to wait around while they figured out how long the appointment would take. At that point, after being jerked around for over an hour, we left with nothing accomplished--no scan, no clear plan, and a very upset child who now has even more anxiety about getting this done. This experience caused unnecessary emotional distress for my son and was handled with zero communication or respect. If they had simply told us upfront that they couldn't take him today, we would have gladly rescheduled and spared him (and us) the stress. Instead, we were misled, contradicted, and dismissed. Parents: be cautious scheduling here. Communication is poor, staff are not on the same page, and they clearly prioritize their own convenience over patient care--especially for children.

But the call center staff that schedule appts are poorly informed, and clearly do not communicate well with the clinics. So what went wrong? First, the scheduler scheduled my 2 MRI appts back to back -- turned out that can't be done in this case. Next, by text, they cancelled the 2nd appt -- with under 24 hours notice. When I dalled the phone number (I tried repeatedly), it just rang and rang -- no answer, no recording. So I called the phone number in a differnt text and was told, "I see your 2 appointments; they aren't cancelled. Just igore that 2nd text!" When I arrived they said, "No the 2nd appt was cancelled -- these procedures can't be done on same day. the call center is wrong. Finally to top it off, they informed me for the first time that this particular center only has the older narrow type MRI machine. So I'd have to lie perfectly still, on my stomach, on the hard surface, with my arm fully extended above my head, for 40 minutes. The tech was honest, "Some people can't do it." I tried it but found it unbearable, especially for my shoulder. Honestly, it reminded me of pictures of the contorted positions Guantanamon prisoners were forced into as a form of torture that leaves no marks. Try it sometime on the floor; you'll see what I mean. I finally left the clinic, vowing to never return to Advanced Radiology. Never again!
