This office and their staff are the best. I have been seeing them for maybe 3-4 years now they see my partner and my daughter as well . My partner was terrified to go to the dentist before hand, due to his high sensitivity but dr virdi & his staff were so gently with him. Its a lot easier to get him in the chair now and my daughter actually told me she miss the Dentist office, can you believe that a 10 year old misses the Dentist. So i had a crown fall out last night and Dr. Sethi and Dr. Virdi were more than accommodating. They were able to fit me in today and get everything squared away in less than an hour. The front staff, Andrea and Edith were beyond caring and I believe her name was Silvia? The assistant who took me back made sure i was more than comfortable during the whole process considering it was my first time here. Unfortunately, it wasn't my first time losing a crown but i was recommended this office from a close friend and i will definitely be back! 10/10 read more

This dental practice is like going to a SHADY MECHANIC. They seemed all nice and friendly like they're taking good care of you. They told me I had 4 cavities, they said it had to be filled ASAP. I assumed they're telling the truth, till I got a second opinion. Only to be told that they were just stains that were scratched off by another dentist. STAY AWAY!!! I keep getting marketing materials from these guys. They're likely paying for all that marketing by scamming all their patients into work they "NEED ASAP!" when in fact your teeth are perfectly fine. It's also a little sketchy that, when I asked if they took Delta Dental PPO they said YES, without telling me that they're a "Delta Premier dentist." Which means, I had to pay out of pocket for something that WOULD have been included free. There was a previous reviewer who left 5 stars for a $5K dollar up charge, that he never even got the work done on. Sounds like they try to SCAM everyone. $1,300 for "DEEP CLEANING" ridiculous. No insurance, we'll give you our "in-house insurance." Sounds like they know they can't charge anyone $5,000 for bogus things, so they give you a "deal" by charging you for "in-house insurance." I'd be curious to know what the insurance regulatory commission has to say about this or the Dental Board of CA for that matter. This husband and wife team need to stop scamming the community. read more

My first time there! Everyone is so nice and considerate! I have sensitive teeth so I always feel so nervous and scared whenever I go to a dentist but doctor Virdi was so nice and careful! He puts numbing gels and the whole process I didn't feel a thing! Then I did teeth whitening, everyone checked on me every five minutes (and I kept falling asleep because it's too relaxing) I highly recommend everyone (especially those with sensitive teeth) to go to doctor Virdi!!!! :D read more

$59 cleaning and exam is scam On the coupon, they have written "unless periodontal condition" This means that they always tell you that you have periodontal condition and they won't do cleaning but take $59. They told me I needed deep cleaning. I said I want to do 59 dollar cleaning now and I will come later for deep cleaning. They told me general cleaning makes my teeth worse so they only do deep cleaning which is $1300. HAHAHA 'CLEANING MAKES TEETH WORSE' They told me that I must take off all wisdom teeth otherwise they damage my other teeth. And I must put crown on tooth with root canal otherwise that tooth will break down. My regular dentist never told me that. They scare you by telling you need to do these expensive treatments and make money by fooling you. I asked them to transfer my x-rays and examination results to my general doctor, they told me I have to pay $20 for that. Patients records are their rights and should always be free of cost. I have disputed my $59 on credit card because I paid that for cleaning which they never did. read more

Of all the dentists that have worked on me during my lifetime, I can honestly say that Dr. Verdi is without a doubt the best dentist of all. When it comes to my teeth I am very particular on who I want to be looking around and fixing things! I have been coming to this office for years and was surprised, and nervous, to hear that it had been taken over by new people. When I called to inquire about Invisalign after many months of researching other places to possibly get it (unsure that I would be able to go through my regular dentist), I was elated to hear that they were able to do Invisalign here! Let me just elaborate a little on my phone call to the office, I was nervous (as previously stated) to hear there were two new dentists, as if one wasn't scary enough ;) (haha). Edith picked up the phone and calmed my nerves with her ever so sweet, bubbly and comforting personality and scheduled my appointment. Meanwhile, on my way to the dentist I stared thinking about my insurance, what would it cover, would I even be able to afford pretty teeth?!? Well, this process was made easy and painless thanks to the staff! They showed me all my options and here I am months later catching myself looking in the mirror looking at my (almost perfect-still have a few more trays) teeth! EVERY TIME I walk into this place I feel a sense of calm.... Shocking?! Fear not, I know you'll have the same feeling. You really begin to feel like family here and since my parents have been coming forever I never really thought it was "my dentist", partially because my dad claims they are "his".... I know now why he is also no longer afraid of the dentist. If you are having a hard time choosing a dentist please consider this amazing, comfortable, family friendly, dentist. Milpitas Dentistry is simply the best around! I've seen my fair share of dentists and have been a patient in this office for well over 15 years now. I started seeing Dr. de St. Georges (retired) at this practice and now visit both Dr. Sethi and Virdi. I can say without a doubt this office is the best around! The staff is highly trained, knowledgeable, loyal, kind and welcoming. The office is comfortable and clean. I honestly couldn't ask for more from a dentist, they always make me feel at ease within minutes of walking in, maybe its because they actually take the time to check in and ask about my concerns. That coupled with their skills, knowledge, ingenuity, patient connection and individualized approach, truly sets them above the rest. I'm generally not a fan of most doctor visits (dental + medical) but I do love this office and wanted to share. First and foremost I need to say how great the entire staff is. I feel as if I've known them for years even though I only started coming about a year ago. I have been MIA from my dental obligations for over 10 years so going back to the dentist was very nerve wrecking. I didn't want to know how many cavities I have acquired or any of the other scary pieces of information that is given. They were able to ease me into the transition as well as got me to start flossing! I recently had my wisdom teeth pulled and it was surprisingly very fast and easy. This place is still wonderful. My dentist of nearly 40 years retired, sold his business to this couple, Dr. Virdi and Dr. Sethi. Dr. de St. Georges said he left us in good hands and now I can agree that he did. Dr. Virdi did my first root canal ever. I thought he'd have to send me to a specialist but I guess these young dentist get more training. Whatever, it worked out for me. Edith and Cookie still work there so it still feels like visiting old friends. I bought into their In- House Insurance Plan (very reasonable) and immediately saved lots of $. So I've been to Sethi Virdi DDS for 5-6 times now. The treatment is fine, the dentist himself comes see for a max of 5 mins per visit and the charge is def on the pricey side. I've had bad experiences with staff though, sure they are nice and full of energy, however, they made a couple of mistakes in with the co-pay and ended up charging me more (not once, but twice!), I had to do my homework later and understand all the available benefits and co-payments to realize later that they've done mistakes of over-charging me (you'd think it's a very straight forward job for someone who's been doing this for years). A couple of visits later I was told that the teeth whitening material they sell has 'way way' more carbamide peroxide percentage than the one at CVS because it needs a 'doctor prescription', which based on their statement, I then bought just to find the CVS one has 3 times higher percentage and way cheaper than the one I bought. Thanks for the scam (whether they did it on purpose or not being competent enough) lol, considering changing my dentist now. read more

My first visit for a free consultation and scans with Dr. Virdi was great he took his time and didn't make me feel rushed or pressured. He was very detailed and explained thoroughly until I felt I understood my options for treatment. He didn't try and sell me the most expensive treatment plan but provided a course of action that would help keep me in budget. Edith worked with me for a long period of time to go over my insurance plan and what was covered and how to use my benefits to their fullest extent and had suggestions and option on how we can work to achieve my goals without breaking the bank. Edith was able to give me several breakdowns of treatments with cost effective plans and assisted me in having a clear course of action and a plan to work towards and provided suggestions on alternative payment plans that are available to me. I appreciate the whole staff from Dr. Virdi's practice and look forward to working with them to achieve my oral health goals. read more

I went years without dental insurance, so I knew when I went to Milpitas Dentistry for an exam that they were going to find some work that needed to be done. I was nervous, but the welcoming staff and cozy atmosphere made me feel better right from the start. The staff are efficient and friendly, and communicate well both with each other and with patients. The office dental chairs mostly look out to a soothing central courtyard and pond. Sure enough, x-rays showed I needed a lot of work done, including a root canal. They made an appointment for me soon afterwards to take care of it and did an excellent job numbing me for the procedure and checking in to make sure I was doing okay. Dr. Sethi and Dr. Verdi are excellent at what they do, and stay up to date on the latest dental techniques and technologies. When Dr. Verdi finished my quick and painless root canal, I asked if he liked doing root canals. He said, "Yeah, I like doing everything!" When I interact with skilled professionals, that's how I want them to feel -- that they like the work and care about doing it well. On the office side of things, Edith and Marivic were sensitive to how overwhelmed I was at the costs looming in front of me, even with insurance. Living in one of the most expensive places in the country is not easy for a single woman, but the office worked with me to ensure that my oral health came first. When Edith was made aware of a loan program that would help me, she helped me sign up and was as excited as I was when I qualified. I booked my first appt with Dr. Sethi in early April but saw her husband, Dr. Verdi. During my cleaning and exam, Dr. Verdi discovered that I had a crack in my old silver filling and a cavity on the opposite side of my mouth. He was concerned that the crack in my filling could cause me more trouble if left untreated. Because my old silver filling was pretty big and deep into my tooth, Dr. Virdi ended up performing a root canal and a crown. I was very nervous, but he assured me it was going to be okay. Dr. Virdi was able to complete the procedure and did my crown all in one appointment. It was very convenient that they had a machine there to customize my crown while I waited a short time. I returned to their office just last week and saw Dr. Sethi to take care of my cavity. She removed my old silver filling to put in a composite one. The procedure did not take much time at all and I was out quickly. Wow! What a dynamic duo of husband and wife team! My experience with the office staff was awesome as well! I didn't have to wait long upon arrival and the staff were super friendly and professional! The day after each procedure, Dr. Sethi called to check up on me and made sure I didn't have any problems. Been meaning to write this review for a long time! I first came to this amazing office when a root canal I had previously gotten went horribly wrong. Both Dr. Virdi and Sethi took me in super fast and helped me get out of my misery! I had a root canal done on another tooth from Dr. Virdi.. and with my unpleasant experience from the other dental place-I was pretty nervous. I was so so so surprised that I was no where near the pain during or even after the procedure as I was in the last place. I recovered much faster as well. I had another dental issue yesterday and with COVID-19 going on, they were still able to see me today as an emergency patient. They are so informative on the procedures , have amazing technology, and make sure you understand everything you're getting Into- whether that's through billing or the procedure itself. Dr. Verdi is very professional! As a child I always hated going to the dentist because I hate pain and needles lol but when Dr. Verdi worked on my tooth it was painless and it all happened so fast! I had the pleasure to be treated by Dr. Sethi for a difficult cavity in the very back of my mouth that was causing me discomfort for several months. After treatment, I can confidentially say no more pain! Dr. Virdi had also replaced a chipped tooth that I had touched up several years ago that had gone discolored through many iced Americanos from Starbucks. The shape and original color matching the tooth was replaced to look like an original tooth! This review is long overdue as I have gone to this office for a number of years. Dr. Sethi and Dr. Virdi have made notable positive changes to the office over the past years, from the staff, to the check in process, to the overall atmosphere. I should also note that their handling of the pandemic has also been admirable, they had closed to come up with a secure plan and it shows! It is clear that everyone who works here is skilled and enjoys what they do. I have seen the hygienist Lilian for quite some time, she has always been great to be around and has made sure that I leave the office with everything taken care of. I have also seen most of the team for various other things from Dr. Sethi filling in my cavities to Dr. Virdi doing my invisalign. I've noticed past reviewers claiming that they are being "hussled" but in the many years that I have been going to this office that has never been my experience. I have found that everyone explains everything to me in detail and ensures that I understand what they are talking about, including the finances to what needs to be done and why. Dr. Virdi, Dr. Sethi, Lilian, and the front desk (Edith I believe) are always open to explaining anything and making sure you are comfortable. I've recommended a number friends to this office and they have all become loyal patients as well (it helps that they have a nice first timer offer for those without insurance). Aman and Meghna are simply outstanding. My parents in their 70's had not been to a dentist for a while and my mother was very worried given her diabetes and blood pressure. This dentistry is by far the best I've ever been to. I had not visited a dentist since I stopped working a year ago, I came to Sethi Verdi DDS is because I received their flyer special for new patient, I thought I would give them a try but not expecting too much just like other dental offices. I had x-rays and teeth cleaning done by hygienist- Lilian, the first impression of her was great and it was even better after getting my teeth cleaned. She is very caring and gentle, she did a great job that I felt so relaxing during the cleaning. After cleaning Dr. Sethi came to exam my teeth, she took her time looking at the x-rays and inspected the teeth thoroughly, and showed me on the monitor areas that needed attention. Then I was introduced to their office manager, Edith who is so bubbly and fun, she helped with my treatment and financing plan, the information I received is well printed and clear, of course if you have any question she is there for you. Overall the first visit was a great experience. Two days later I had my second visit, this time I had deep cleaning with Lilian and a temporary crown with Dr. Virdi. Lilian again did an awesome job! I didn't feel a thing when she numbed me, I don't even know did she put a needle in or not, it was that smooth and painless. After 45 minutes of cleaning, I had a little break then Dr. Virdi came in to greet me and explaining to me what exactly he would do now and later during the treatment. I liked the way how everything was explained in detail and make the entire treatment comfortable. Dr. Virdi demonstrated his skillfulness in giving me a temporary crown, his assistant was delightful too, sorry that I didn't get her name, definitely I'll ask her next time. This place has made going to the dentist a surprisingly pleasant experience. I highly recommend Dr. Sethi and Dr. Virdi and their team, they are absolutely wonderful! read more
