Two weeks later I told them I needed to cancel the order. Wali said this was a special order and non-refundable. We plan to do dark brown emperador and creama marfil checker board design for our kitchen area and were having a hard time finding the two colors marble with exact same thickness/callibration. Then we came here and Christian and Rick helped us out! Rick and Christian spent time ordering multiple samples for us just to help us make sure we will get what we want. One other gentleman (my bad didn't get a chance note his name) even showed us how the mapping should work before installing. We've been remodeling for a while and were stuck on kitchen backsplash ideas. Sessemo was recommended by the Yard where we purchased our slabs. They had the best and largest selection of all the stores we went to. Chris listened to our vision, looked at our pictures and showed us materials that he thought would fit. We brought home samples to see how it would match. We did not know how to finish the inside of the window sills. Chris took the time to send me pictures of his kitchen to give us some ideas. We were building a brand new house in Los Angeles and stopped by the store while visiting another store nearby and are we glad we did. Christian, one of the design consultant was super nice and took his time to show us around. We ended up not buying anything that day and must have come back more than 10 times before deciding to buy from here (we are very picky!). Despite us not buying anything on our first numerous visits, Christian never made us feel like we were wasting his time and made us feel welcomed each time we came back to look around. We ended up buying many beautiful tiles from here including this gorgeous tile for our 1st floor which we get complimented by everyone. We liked it so much, we also picked some awesome porcelain slabs for our fireplace and our island counter top. In all, this place really has some great stuff and at great prices. Most importantly, Christian not only helped us pick out great stuff, but advised us on design aspects of our house and even connected us to a great installer for our porcelain countertop. Happened to stop by this store and discovered a wide selection of modern tiles. After combing through various stores in the vicinity, kept coming back to the tiles here that caught our eye. Christian helped us pick out the tile and gave various other design suggestions that were spot on, including some that were unrelated to our purchase here. The tile we chose was sold out and we had to wait for a couple months for them to be shipped from Spain, but the timing worked for us. Final result was amazing and we love the tile. Chris and Ani also helped with suggestions for grout, and they were also spot on with color suggestions. I highly recommend this store for their tiles as well as advice they provide. read more

I have worked with Chris in a few projects. One thing that super important, especially with tight timelines is availability of materials and his response time. I literally ended3 slabs of granite within a couple days and they were able to assist wIth that. They have a pretty extensive collection and the most up to date materials and the latest designs of people are looking for. The trendy stuff that you see on HGTV is being used everywhere and what Chris has done as he's brought in a selection of what Design is going to be moving forward. Where do I begin...if I could give Sessemo 10 stars, I would. My experience with Ani was exceptional. We updated our master bathroom, our boy's bathroom and the downstairs bathroom. I went to several tile places, from the Inland Empire to State College tile stores. Nowhere did I find the amazing service I received at Sessemo. I accidentally walked into Sessemo & I was sooo glad I did. I had a visual of what I wanted but just needed someone to help me put it all together & that's exactly what Ani did. She immediately drew a sketch of my existing master shower, then proceeded to draw out my visual exactly the way I wanted it. Her expertise in combining not only colors but styles is right on. She was very patient and pleasant to talk to. She genuinely shows she cares. Once she received all of the tile I ordered, Ani took the time to put the different tiles together to make sure it all flowed. However, in doing so, she realized the trim didn't seem to match. Therefore, she notified me & asked me to go to her shop so she could show me a different option. I really appreciated her doing that. Sometimes the color in new tile batches can be different than the samples, which is what happened in this case. This also caused us to have to return our floor tile which we had ordered from a different company & she took it upon herself to get the issue resolved. She could have just cared about the sale & let me deal with it, but that's not how Ani works. She certainly made this project go very smoothly. It was a one stop shop. She guided me in all the material I needed. In fact, our contractor was very impressed to see that we had all of the material necessary for this project. I needed to find a backsplash to match a granite countertop for the downstairs bathroom that I already had from a previous project. Ani let me borrow several samples to bring home without any hesitation. Her warehouse staff was very professional as well. I normally don't write reviews cuz I tend to forget. But I really owed it to Ani to give her a 5 star review. I wish her & her husband nothing but the best in having a successful business. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. read more
