*** 2025 review #13 ***…read more The contractor we hired recommended this store for their selection of vanity for our guest bathroom renovation. It was also located right next to the tiles store, so it was a super convenient. We had a quick shopping experience since it was close to closing time and we didn't want to make the 1+ hour drive again another day. We found the vanity we both love in a pretty midnight blue color, that we confirmed is available to order in brushed nickel hardware. That was a 5-star experience... but unfortunately everything from there went downhill. Anthony from the tiles store was our main contact to write up our order including this vanity (same owner for both stores). When our contractor finally was ready for us to pay for the order, we received the invoice that included a $350 delivery fee! Plus a mandatory California "energy surcharge" that's calculated as a % of order. We decided for $350 we can pick up ourselves. Scheduled pickup. Showed up with invoice, confirmed vanity with brushed nickel hardware. Drove around to loading/pickup. Again confirmed brushed nickel hardware. Opened sealed box to check countertop has no crack. Drove slowly back home with the heavy load. The next day, contractor's crew installed the vanity: with wrong hardware AND the color was just not right. I just got a call that "the wrong hardware was given to us" -- GOLD instead of brushed nickel. Our contractor reassured us that he will take care of it, he knows the owner, "no problem, Lily" ...... One month later... still nothing. Contractor forgot and didn't handle it but told us instead "the store didn't get back to him." By that time there were TONS of issues going on with the nightmare bathroom project that was going on 2+ months. The store now claims the hardware is NOT available in brushed nickel but we can pick from a bunch of hardware options that they will mail out to us instead, with no extra charges. We picked the one that's closest to the look and feel of the original hardware. They first claimed it was not available in the size we needed for our vanity. But that was apparently just another excuse (read on... later it turned into "it's too expensive/an upgrade we can't give you") We had to send them (supposedly the expert people working at this store) specs and pictures to show them that the hardware we picked had THREE sets of holes and it DOES fit our vanity. No apologies whatsoever, after WE had to spend more time in this. We were assured (again) that they will mail us the new hardware asap. 3 weeks later... still nothing! I've been patient enough. By now the nightmare bathroom project was wrapping up.... 10+ weeks, unbelievable! Lots of problems were out of our control, but this hardware issue is the one thing I can so something about. I got on the phone and escalated this "mistake order" and was then told "we cannot give you the hardware you picked because it would be an upgrade" I immediately sent AP stone countertops ALL the proofs showing a trail of paperwork from order confirmation, texts, pickup receipt, etc. and called them out on this failure of customer service. They grudgingly then agreed to mail out the hardware replacement we needed. What started as "great customer service" apparently only lasted up until we paid the invoice in FULL before pickup. Super disappointed in how they handled their mistakes, pointing fingers at each other, and putting us through unnecessary stress. Do not recommend dealing with such unprofessional salesmen. A straightforward vanity purchase turned into a whole nightmare and cost us a lot of wasted time and uncalled for frustration and stress. We will never trust a contractor referral, no matter how much we trusted that contractor... without doing our own due diligence and research for other customer reviews and satisfaction. Lesson learnt. PS: be aware that you may or may not get the color of the vanity you choose. Ours was a much DARKER blue than the vanity on display in their showroom.

I really wanted to like Bodega Style. I was actually warned to avoid them and referred somewhere…read moreelse, but decided to give them a chance anyway. At first, everything seemed great. They were one of the few places I found that carried prefabricated quartz countertops within my budget. That's where the positive experience ended though. The countertops that came in looked like a watered down version of the floor sample, much more plain and washed out. I understand these are manufactured items and won't be identical, but they should still be in the same range as what is displayed. We even reordered with a different style, thinking that might solve the issue, but the second set had the same problem. After two failed attempts, I tried to cancel the order altogether. The items never left the facility, but Bodega would not allow a return. My contractor even tried to convert the order into store credit to use for another client, and that request was also refused. Customer service only added to the frustration. I came in right at opening one day because I needed to get in and out quickly before work. Despite that, I was passed over while staff handled a large tile delivery, which could have easily been done before opening or at a less busy time. I understand waiting my turn, but this felt poorly managed and inconsiderate, and it nearly made me late. Overall, this was a disappointing experience on multiple levels. Between the product issues, lack of flexibility, and poor service, I would not recommend coming here.

I said well, we live by the mile of tile... but I do my research anyways. TBH - the first time we walked in, I didn't get the warm and fuzzies. I mean I don't want to be stalked while shopping but, I do want to be acknowledged esp since we had questions. Anyways, we ended getting help from Ana and it's been great since. My husband is in charge of this project so he mostly deals with the contractor, our vendors, etc There's plenty of variety to choose from and besides Ana, we had been helped by others when she's not there. I had a book match peaces and their offers are to peace parts together! The drawers didn't even close! Their main fabricator stated that it was heavily chipped due to lack of man power! For a project of this cost, I expected high-quality workmanship, accountability and professional customer service. Instead, I have spent considerable time dealing with damage and unsuccessful repair attempts. I have photographs and written communications documenting the condition of the countertops and my efforts to resolve the matter fairly. As of the date of this review, the matter remains unresolved. They followed through on their promise and provided our quote within two days, which we appreciated. That said, the showroom itself was under construction during our visit, which made it feel a bit disorganized and difficult to compare the different cabinet styles and finishes. It wasn't the easiest shopping experience because many of the displays were incomplete and door samples were stashed in boxes on the floor. The cabinet displays that were available looked beautiful and appeared to be good quality. However, after comparing quotes from other local cabinet companies, we found their pricing to be on the higher side and not competitive enough for our project. Overall, we had a positive experience with the staff, but we hope the showroom will be easier to browse once construction is complete.
