This place is definitely my spot to hit when I don't feel like cooking. It's close and convenient. I like the flavors, very authentic. The price point is very reasonable. And the service is nice and very fast. There isn't a place to dine in so this is the best place for a quick carryout for lazy night. read more

We've ordered from here before, and it's usually pretty good. We ordered some chicken Kung pow and chicken fried rice yesterday and you had a really search to find the chicken. I just had a small dish of leftover chicken fried rice, there was not one piece of chicken in there. read more

This has become our new go-to place ever since Golden Chopsticks closed. I like their Chicken dishes, either chicken almond ding or cashew chicken. I like the veggies they use: zucchini and mushrooms in addition to the usual baby corn, water chestnuts, etc. Their egg rolls and crab Rangoon are both good. We recently tried the Kung bao shrimp fried rice, and it had a nice flavor without being too spicy. They also seem reasonably priced for Chinese food, not crazy expensive. read more

It's good...It is our go to when we don't want to cook. Portions are a good value. The kids love the Sweet n Sour chicken, you know close as it gets to chicken nuggets . read more

Trying to find a replacement go-to Chinese restaurant since Peter retired and closed EVERYONE'S favorite, Golden Chopsticks. I won't be back to Sesame. The food was both flavorless and very small protein portion in the dish. My Mongolian Beef lunch should have been called Mongolian Onion lunch because after 4 or 5 VERY SMALL pieces of meat, it was nothing but white onions. A LOT of white onions. See the picture if there is any doubt. Thown out it was so sparse and flavorless! They didn't even put it on the crispy noodles (which I love) WHICH IS IN THE ITEM'S DESCRIPTION!!! The Won Ton soup had NO FLAVOR. It was like they just threw wontons and cabbages into hot water and served it. Threw out the entire order. Even the eggroll was sub par. And they did not even provide hot mustard, but rather two sweet and sour packets. This trial was a bad experience, so I'm glad I only threw away $17 for a lunch special and small soup, rather than an entire dinner for my family. (Side note: I don't think they even care about their food or their bad reviews, as I noticed they do not respond to any reviews.) The search for our new go-to for Chinese food continues - we like to have it once a week, so it's a big deal to us. Oh, well. read more

Sesame Chinese - Szechwan chicken lunch special. Great crab ragoon $1 upgrade to shrimp fried rice, plenty of meat ...my new 'go to' place for chinese. - Chinese Near Me - Bolingbrook, Illinois

I ordered the wonton soup it was flavorless, the egg rolls didn't taste that good just average, the Shrimp with vegetables wasn't that bad, a good amount of shrimp and some good flavors, I wasn't completely impressed so I don't know if I'll be back. read more

Egg rolls only flavor is cabbage, large order of Mongolian beef was loaded with onions and green peppers, beef in the minority & first time I ever saw it prepared with no sauce or gravy at all. Moo goo gai pan had no flavor at all. Crab Rangoon was excellent. Sadly my search for a replacement for golden chopsticks continues. read more

The next best Chinease food in Bolingbrook since Golden Chopsticks closed down...which is why I even bother to eat at this place && the only reason 3 stars is missing is because when I called to have a food delivered there is a delivery fee okay cool I'm ready to pay that why this dumbass hoe demanded me to pay a tip for the driver??? And she was like if I'm not tipping the driver I can come pick it up. RUDE ASF! The delivery fee is what it cost to have it delivered I'm not obligated to pay no damn tip....then tried to say that they were over 15 mins away from me and that I'm "far" when I live in a apartment complex 10 mins away. So y'all call 10 mins far ? No wonder y'all ass can't get no customers. If y'all understaffed and don't got a lot of delivery drivers say that but don't ever in your life demand me to pay shit for no driver, YALL pay the driver the delivery fee there's ya tip hoe! I could've tipped but now I'm really not. Then on top of that after going back and fourth with this hoe she finally says I don't have to pay the tip but now it's going to Take them over an HOUR to bring my food. Nothing but MONEY HUNGRY BUMS read more

Has been our go to for years, past few trips, not so much Broccoli & chicken specifically, seems lime they almost forgot chicken so requested extra chicken last time, ni problem except maybe a few pieces more but for $4.95 REALLY????? Whole chickens are only $4.95 broasted and no water chestnuts or carrots, or sauce; now it's chicken, broccoli and onion skins little sauce so kinda dry; so sad really good people but time to maybe look around read more

This place has gone down hill. Customers service is poor and they have gotten our orders wrong the last two times. Beware

Food was amazing, it tasted like they made it with lots of care! The service was also very nice. The wait time depended on how big your order was, but over all the wait time was pretty good. They even help you move the food to your car if the food tray might be too heavy. this was the best restaurant I've ever went to. The place was also very nice. I'll definitely be going here much more times! Recommend for people who loves food! read more

Love their consistency with the pad Thai, a favorite of my daughter's! Their prices are reasonable for the offering. Have always paid attention to shell fish allergies. Our go to Friday night takeout! read more

Ordered sesame chicken, chicken fried rice and Mongolian chicken. Sesame chicken and fried rice were decent but the Mongolian chicken was mostly onions with very little chicken. Won't order that again. read more

Ordered the lunch pepper steak and it was made with probably one large green pepper with about 6-8 small bite of meat. I would have not posted about that alone...what prompted me to post was that the staff weren't wearing masks. When asked they informed some of them are vaccinated so they don't have to. I have done my best to update myself on the recommendations but as far as I can find online people who prepare food are required to wear masks regardless of vaccination status. Just wanted to leave this info so you can make informed decisions about ordering from here. Thanks. read more

We've been ordering from here for years, since they first opened. Small store front with no eat in capability, take out or delivery only. Every single dish we have ever tried has been really good. Not only do they have the standard fare but also some Tai dishes as well. Good portion sizes and they don't skimp on meat like some places we've tried. You can't go wrong here and in nearly 15 years I don't think we've ever waited more than 15 minutes from calling in to ready! read more

They have good lunch specials, but they hang up on you when you try to order food. I will be going elsewhere where they don't hang up on the customers. read more

Friendly staff. Good prices. And consistently good food. Always mindful to follow your recs when it comes to spice level. Overall a great Neighborhood Chinese restaurant. read more

They've jumped the shark! Used to be a great place for a lunch special great value, the goal seems to have been to jack up those prices. What used to be $6 and a very good value is now $10, that's not a small jump and has put me off. The food is fine, the egg rolls shrank 2 years ago but that price increase has put them on the gouging list and they won't get my business because of it. . read more

Great lunch specials and the price is right. Wish they had another location close my other office in Chicago. Shrimp with broccoli, beef with broccoli, and the pad Thai is great . Would definitely recommend. read more

This place is alright. Not the best fast food chinese but decent. Mongolian beef was okay but their noodles were less than okay.

This is indeed the best Chinese food in bolingbrook (I have tried better). Food comes in good quantity and quality. Prices are fairly lower than others. Only thing they lack is if they have dine-in. They charge for .50 cents for the spice sauce and that too in small container. read more

First time ordering from Sesame. My wife had chicken and broccoli. She said it was okay. Egg roll was very good. I had the General Tao. Very tasteless. Egg roll was decent and the pricing is good. We certainly have enjoyed better. read more

~3 years ago this was my Chinese fix joint. I enjoyed the food served and the price was great! Now when I order from sesame it seems the quality has dropped progressively over the years. The price is still great, but I have many different options for Chinese food. I hope the best for sesame, their employees treated me really well. read more

Food is absolutely the best around. Everything is always fresh and cooked perfectly. Even walking to order, I have never waited more than 10 minutes for food. Every order is always correct. Each time, I receive a baggie with all the condiments and fortune cookies which really makes it easy. I absolutely love this place. read more

This place has excellent Chinese food. You get plenty of food and more for your money during the lunch special which is 11:00-3:00.

I live right by this place, and I can definitely say it's the best Chinese food in Bolingbrook. The food is also very inexpensive, and they have good lunch specials. read more

Best Chinese food around! Absolutely delicious, and the lunch specials are an awesome value (and are even available on the weekends) The owners are also very friendly and accommodating. I have one child who is Gluten Free and one who is a Vegan, and they have been more than happy to work with me to make the necessary changes so my kids are able to still eat the foods they love! read more

I had the hot and sour soup and the salt and pepper shrimp. It was good. Nice personality of person taking order.

Excellent food. By far the best fried rice around. My favorite is the Kung Bao shrimp fried rice. Friendly with a smile every time my order is taken. read more

Food was great! The veggies were crisp and fresh, the shrimps were jumbo sized and perfectly done. Sauce of the 5 dishes we ordered were not salty nor sweet. They were just right. I ordered extra spicy in one dish and it was also perfect. Serving size per order is good for 2. Very reasonably priced. I live 2 miles away and it took only 16 minutes for my order to arrive. read more

I have been going here for years and the food is great! Lately they have dropped on service though as I currently sit here for 30 mins when I placed my order well over an hour ago. They told me it would be a few minutes.. 25 minutes ago. They need to address that or just be honest with me so that I don't sit here wasting my time. read more

Placed a carry out order of Lo mein noodles & the (zu yan beef or something like that)... Beef platter was good but I was VERY disappointed I received half burn noodles. Safe to say I'll stick to my usual chinese joint. read more

I've been told that this is the best Chinese food in Bolingbrook, so I called in a delivery order. First they didn't know where my street was even though I told them 3 times, then they told me they were going to charge me double the delivery charge because I was east of Rt 53! Needless to say, I cancelled my order. I'll never know if the food is that good or not! My guess is they only want to serve the west side of town . . . good business practice! read more

This place is our go-to for Chinese takeout. My husband and I tried it because we live two minutes away, and we were so happy when it turned out to be good because Chinese restaurants can really be hit or miss. This is a hit. We get the Mongolian beef (which is actually the best we've had from anywhere), the shrimp with vegetables (the shrimp is always perfectly cooked), pork fried rice (they give you a ton) and eggrolls. However, I did order the Pad Thai once and was very disappointed. Stick to the Chinese menu and you should be good. read more

Best Chinese place ever! Such amazing food, for such an unbelievable price! Highly recommend
