We worked together on my project for a full year and in that time they were able to turn our backyard dream into a reality that exceeded our already lofty expectations. The design team took a very rough explanation of what I was looking for, added features and elevation changes that I couldn't have imagined on my own, turned it into a 3D animation that brought excitement to our entire family and then set forth to build exactly what they promised. Along the way I was introduced to a professional and skilled team of workers that created beauty and craftsmanship in everything they touched. Even when I decided the initial plan needed some additions, or changes, or I just simply changed my mind, never once did they say they couldn't achieve the outcome I was looking for. All they ever said was "Yes, absolutely, we can do that". It was almost a surreal experience working with a contractor that not only kept their word, their schedule, and their price point (except for the design changes which were 100% on me), this contractor went BEYOND the ordinary and into the EXTRAORDINARY throughout the entire project. Most of us are used to a contractor that just wants to finish the project and move on, RMOL truly cared about creating an outdoor living space that our family would truly love to "live" in. Our project consisted of transforming a 20,000 sq foot backyard of overgrown trees, dying grass and misshapen and unkept hills (all from a previous owner), into a 20x40 shotcrete swimming pool, a 9x9 spa with a sheet waterfall, a 4 foot circular fire pit with a rounded seating area, a raised pavilion for an outdoor kitchen, a grass soccer pitch and a waterproofed and finished underdeck for the 700 sq foot deck above. Not to mention hundreds of sq feet of pavers, dozens of feet of multi-tiered retaining walls and capped off with dozens of new trees, shrubs and outdoor lighting that came together into a backyard oasis of our dreams. This project started with a dream from our family and RMOL turned that dream into a reality that we will live in and love for the entirety of our time in this home.

The sales / design process was smooth and the team worked to get us the right design for our budget - MG and Nick were so great and truly care! We got a gabled roof and a paver patio, so we got to work with both the soft scape and hardscape teams. The soft scape team was friendly, and efficient, the whole roof took only a few days. Jeremy and his team are funny and great! The hardscape team was truly incredible and never ceased to go above and beyond. They cleaned up every day and were so respectful and hardworking. They even went so far to clean my neighbor's car when they got dust on it. They helped me with any specific requests I had and were abundantly patient with me when I was trying to understand the design. Ignacio is the best project manager I have met - so if you get him and his crew, you're in luck. The whole operation was like a well organized supply chain, we were never waiting on materials or permit inspections, it all was set up and delivered in synchronicity. Our project finished on time and at the price that we originally planned! I have had several neighbors ask for RMOL's contact because they were so impressed with how hard working and kind the team was - and how amazing the results are! I can't wait to use Rocky Mountain Outdoor Living for a future project. Thank you!!

It's a great place to go if you need a floral break and need to immerse yourself in colorful petals and greenery! The staff was super friendly and I really loved seeing so many plants that I had really never seen before! The giant cacti were also really cool - something I would save my pennies for! Seems like a great place to pick up a hostess gift too!

Hello, my name is Alyssia I've heard and seen lots and lots…read moreof comments about this garden market.. because it has been around ever since I can remember. I've seen a lot of community members say Nick's garden market isn't how it used to be. I took it upon myself to see if that was really true, and unfortunately it's a total bummer. Nobody there really knows anything about plants not to mention they don't know how to take care of them either. I would never ever purchase a plant from this garden market again. I had purchased back in February 2026 1 Sweet autumn Clematis vine, and 1 coral honeysuckle vine. Come to find out a couple of weeks later after settling them in my garden at home, the honeysuckle was infested with aphids. I actually called weeks later after trying to save the plant myself by cutting it down completely 2 feet from the ground realizing the frustration that the infestation of aphids wasn't my fault. When I called, the woman that picked up the line didn't share her name. I expressed to this woman that I've had the plant for a little bit and was wondering if there's anyway they can look me up in the system (without receipt) so that we can work something out by me bringing it back. She went ahead and straight up told me "we don't have a system" then let me know that she has been a gardener and has had 30+ years of experience and that honeysuckles are always aphid infested, she also said at Nick's they spray their honeysuckle vines every day and still aren't able to get rid of them. My question is why sell aphid infested vines or if you're going to why not put up a sign alerting other people if you want to buy this there's a risk. I let her know that I actually had more than one species of honeysuckle at my house and none of the other ones were aphid infested. She shut up real quick after that and went ahead and said the best that I can do is give you back $30 for it so you can buy something else. Don't buy your plants here I now go to Tagawa Gardens. They are absolutely amazing, AFFORDABLE and have a real knowledge on all different species of plants Think twice
