This review is solely for the Fall Festival. It's a great event without having to drive out of town for a huge pumpkin patch. Lots of variety of free games and activities for the kids to do (cornhole, corn pit, frog toss, balance games). But man, has the pricing of paid activities gone way up! I understand charging per kid per ride, but feel like charging the parents who are only riding to go along with their child who is unable to ride alone is excessive. One loop on the kiddie train cost me $18 just to accompany my 2 kids! Another $18 to ride the tractor. And so on. So this "free" activity turns expensive VERY quickly. Just keep that in mind!! Also, this year they attempted to maximize their space by putting the maze and photo ops on the outer perimeter, but the problem is the train path goes right up the middle where kids are running around! So, kids running around trying to catch the rings or balls from the games that are right next to the path, or kids running in/out of the maze run directly into the path of the train! My son got his foot run over by the train when he popped out of the maze and didn't see the train coming. The drivers don't even look like they care that much, just honked at him and kept on rolling! I had to grab another kid who was running to his mom and also would've gotten hit at a separate time, and saw so many kids almost get hit in the time we were there! Probably should reconsider the layout and path of the train for future! I will say I do love the roasted chili station -- they have so much variety of peppers available in different spice levels. Smells so good and the chilis are delicious!

This is a large and well-stocked garden center. They offer a wide variety of products, including sod, landscaping materials, flowers, trees, shrubs--just about anything you might need for your garden or yard. However, the prices tend to be on the higher side. From what I observed, herbs and flowers were typically $2 to $3 more expensive compared to other places like Home Depot.

Great to visit any time of the year. If you are looking for somewhere to take the kids without driving really far this is the place to go. During the fall you can come here to get your pumpkins and enjoy the festival. In December/November you can get your Christmas trees here. I love browsing through their shop. They have much more than plants but lots of great gifts and produce. Lots of plant accessories too. Plants here are well taken care of. The staff here are friendly. It does get very crowded though when they are doing special activities. We came a weekend before Halloween for their fall activities and we could not even park in the parking lot and had to park in the nearby neighborhood. Despite the festival crowds, if you have not been here yet you should definitely check them out, especially if you are a plant lover! They've got a huge selection.

We were here for the fall festival and witnessed the pumpkin weigh-in. It was very easy to watch and we appreciated the way they lined up the pumpkins for all to see. They also had some games and other fun things for kids to do and their hatch chiles were excellent!

FUN PUMPKIN PATCH! I took my daughter here to enjoy fall festivities. This was surely fun with so many kids activities to choose from. My daughter's most fav was the tractor ride. The only caveat is the long waiting queues for every single rides. There are lot of photo opportunity as every nook and cranny is loaded with pumpkin / spooky decor. To finish our visit we bought the roasted corn and they were the best toasted corn I have ever had! I would suggest going here on weekday maybe to avoid crowd and queue.

Truly the best!! The quality of the plants is comforting. The plants are watered and well cared for before they are purchased. The variety is amazing. We have always been thrilled with the plants and flowers. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. You may pay a little more but I have found that their plants are worth the price. I have been happily going there for about five years. They have seeds, fixtures, and everything a gardener needs.

Today I decided to go to Nick's Garden Center to buy a specific plant that I need. Unfortunately it is out of season, but I was told that it grows everywhere for free all over Colorado. I'm going to go hunt for it before it starts to get cold. Luckily it's still consistently hot throughout the final days of summer. It won't get cold until October in the 303. It was very refreshing to be around so many plants, flowers, and vegetables. I really enjoyed the fountains. A lot of them were turned on and running water, which was cool. I absolutely adored the tree and bush landscaping part of the garden center. It really made me appreciate how much energy goes into landscaping and gardening. I ended up buying a perfectly ripe watermelon. I wanted to buy a beautiful blue Spruce baby tree, but I have no place to put a tree. Nick's is a great gardening and landscaping establishment.

Great place with plenty for the kids. Free entrance and games. Good food and bathrooms.

Nicks is an institution! The selection of plants is vast and the service is always friendly and knowledgeable. I have been coming to Nick's for almost 20 years, Nicks is more than just landscaping, seasonal flowers/plants and vegetables it is an experience that needs to be shared. Especially during the fall with their chili roasting and fall displays. Whether you're a plant person or looking for a fun day out, check out Nicks!

Had so much fun here at the Fall Festival. Got some beautiful Halloween decorations and fresh vegetables.

I guess as flowers are seasonal you need to go at the beginning of the season. I went here a few weeks ago and there really wasn't a good selection and most of the flowers seemed like they were dying and dried out. I bought the least dried out in hopes that they would perk up in natural grounds. Some are. Some I'm still nursing and waiting. The staff was very friendly.

The best garden center around in my opinion. The prices are half of what I would pay in Parker for large houseplants and for veggie starts. The plants are healthy and well cared for. The staff is incredibly helpful, patient and kind. They helped us pick pots for our new beauties that were the right size, planted and delivered in a few days with care.

Nicks is THE GARDEN CENTER in the Denver area. It has beautiful plants, knowledgeable staff, and the greatest variety of both plants and hard goods.

    Are dogs allowed?

They were there when I visited! Leashes required, of course, and I think I saw treats and bowls of water available.

Do you guys have yellow roses?

Yes we have a variety of different types of Yellow Roses, they are 49.99 or 59.99

Do you sell rainbow corn if when and how much?

We don't have any rainbow I'm sorry. We will only have some dried decorative corn come October.

The barstools were on clearance so I had to search for the last one. I called every At Home store, and eventually connected with a woman named Julia in the Olathe, KS store. She was amazing. So helpful, so full of helpful information and so polite and professional. Customer service is so poor in so many areas of our lives these days. It was wonderful to connect with someone who really put forth the effort to be pleasant and helpful. Thank you Julia (I sure hope I got the name correct!!) you are such an asset to the industry. I did find the "Let's Flamingle" door mat, which will vastly irritate my pun-loathing friends. They didn't have the "Go Away" door mat. Or the one that says, "I hope you brought wine." Ah well. I found a couple more flamingo things, but discovered to my surprise that they do not carry slipcovers. This strikes me as odd for such a gigantic store. It was difficult to find anyone to help me, but when I did, he was very helpful. Almost everything I bought was summer stuff on clearance. A lot of summer and garden stuff is NOT on clearance. Also weird, as I write this in early November. I didn't really need two adorable garden gnomes, but I wanted them. Alas, not on clearance, and neither was the large grey resin alligator. I probably would have bought it at $40, but definitely not at $80. Silly impulses can only go so far. $80 is too far for me. Hangers are well priced, will go back and get them another time. It's always the ugliest patio cushions that go on sale. Oh well. Some patio umbrellas are on clearance, others are not. Also weird. Maybe some patterns are temporary and others permanent stock.

I initially had a great experience with Jaime Langer and genuinely believe she has strong design…read moreskills. However, my overall experience with her ended in deep disappointment and frustration. If you choose to work with her, do not let her refer you to Hummingbird HRD (Crystal and Brian Mansanares), as that is where everything unraveled. Jaime first helped me after a Christmas morning plumbing disaster, and at the outset, she was fantastic--quick to respond, knowledgeable, and actively engaged in creating thoughtful layouts. Because things seemed to be going well, we also hired her for additional design work in our kitchen and living room. But when she referred us to Hummingbird as the general contractor, she stepped away entirely, leaving us in the hands of an inexperienced team that led to an overpriced, incomplete, and poorly executed renovation. Where Things Went Wrong Jaime and Crystal turned out to be personal friends rather than longtime collaborators, and our home was essentially a "guinea pig project"--a fact Jaime admitted only after things had gone terribly wrong. The staggering lack of professionalism from Hummingbird resulted in months of stress, wasted money, and a home that remains unfinished to this day. After Crystal declared the project "done" (despite glaringly poor workmanship), I asked Jaime to see the state of things herself. She agreed with me that the quality was unacceptable and even apologized for how badly things had turned out. She admitted that Crystal lacked the necessary experience and recognized that we had been unintentionally used as a test project. To make matters worse, she also told me, "Wow, I didn't realize you were so detail-oriented--I would feel exactly the same." As if they thought they could get away with subpar work and I wouldn't notice--truly insulting. Jaime's Final Disappointing Choice To her credit, Jaime convinced Crystal and Brian to attempt to fix their mess, but she ultimately abandoned the project. Despite personally acknowledging all the flaws, she later sent me a completely contradictory statement: "I have every faith in Hummingbird completing the project as promised, and overall, I believe they have done an exceptional job." This project was supposed to take 4-6 weeks starting in March--it was still dragging on in November, at which point I cut ties entirely because it was no longer worth the emotional toll. To this day, our home remains unfinished and cheap-looking, a painful reminder of the stress and financial loss we endured. What We Actually Got for Jaime's Fees After paying her design fees for both the bathroom and kitchen/living room, all we truly received was: * Layout options * A recommendation for Hummingbird (which proved disastrous) * Help selecting a kitchen table and rug Had we gone with a different general contractor, I might be writing a glowing five-star review. Unfortunately, given how this played out, I cannot recommend Jaime Langer at all.
