However all good things come to an end and the tree was telling us so. It was a willow and time to go. We contacted these folks and arranged for a cutting down of the tree so it would not pose a danger to others or to us. The quote was quite reasonable and we decided to go forward. We were in no rush and it was suggested we do so after the Christmas holidays. Monday was the scheduled date. Sure enough they showed up on Monday morning and it took about an hour to cut down the tree. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. They were careful to remove a bench which was under the tree but not damaged and then replace it in the same area when they were done. Dangerous safety practices and extremely hostile staff. I was sprayed with chemicals while walking…read morepast a job site because there were no safety warnings or sidewalk closures. The technician, despite wearing full PPE, tried to claim he was spraying water. When questioned, he became verbally abusive, threatened me, and threatened about my health being affected by the spray. Then called up his friends to come over from another job site and "handle me". It was surreal. To make matters worse, the office staff refused to tell me what chemical I had been exposed to, simply calling it 'safe.' Between the lack of safety precautions, the verbal abuse, and the refusal to disclose the substance I was exposed to, I highly recommend avoiding this company. I have filed a police report and a complaint with the Colorado Department of Agriculture. Who is gathering a sample to identify the undisclosed poison.
