We had our Elm treated for beetles via injection. It cost us close to $400. I was warned there was a possibility that the treatment wouldn't be totally effective and in this case, we could try spraying. If anything, the ravaging of the tree was worse this year than last, leaves brown and full of holes. So I contacted Arbor Pro to talk to someone about a solution and was told someone would get back to me about it. After a couple of weeks, I called again because nobody had contacted me. Again, I was told someone would call me back to talk about the problem. Now a couple of weeks have gone by and I have not received a call. Apparently I just wasted $400? We received a call for a free estimate from these folks. The estimator identified a tree that was a serious threat to our home based on its health, its lean toward our roof and the fact that the root ball was beginning to heave. They came to our home just days after the estimate, three men worked very hard with impressive efficiency and know-how all day long, returned the next work day to trim up some other trees and did a great job cleaning up a carpet of pine needles in the yard. Tree care and maintenance is expensive but witnessing their professionalism and watching their amazing accuracy and use of the heavy equipment) made us realize it was worth every penny. read more

Arbor-pro sent out an estimator to give us an estimate on tree removal. His estimate came in at around $2000 to remove a 20 foot tall tree. It seemed really high to me so I got a couple other quotes. We ended up going with a company who quoted us $650. It took three guys less than two hours to remove the tree without damaging anything in our yard or power lines. read more

I was a little hesitant because of the reviews on Yelp, but I'm completely satisfied. I've got a little more work to do, but it wasn't a priority today. The arborist was so informative! He came over and looked at my trees and told me what I needed and I completely agreed. He discussed various options with me. They treated my trees and he even came by a few weeks later to ask how everything went and to look over their work. I used them again to trim some trees and dead branches and take out a dead tree. They were fast and efficient. I do wish they'd cleaned up a little better, but overall they did a fantastic job! I will used them again. Everyone I dealt with at Arbor-Pro Tree Experts was knowledgeable and pleasant. No pressure with the estimate process, plus I learned quite a bit about my locust trees. Both the trimming crew and the young man spraying the trees were careful about making sure the gates were closed so the dogs did not get out. I got a much better value with this company versus the one I had used a few years ago, and now I have three large, much healthier trees with no dead branches. I hired the company to take out the dead on my Honey Locust Tree. I asked that I be home at the time of trimming. I just missed them by minutes. My neighbor was moving his lawn and said they arrived and within 20 minutes left. When I arrived home, I could see that their were many dead branches that had not been cut off. I called several times to meet with the owner to no avail.( We did miss one meeting) They want me to pay $550.00 and today I had another company give me an estimate as many of these branches must be taken down. I omit paying and asked for a revaluation of the cost so we can end the dispute. Still waiting and no call back. read more

Pro is the right word. They did a great job shaping some overgrown trees and removing broken and dead limbs. It was cute to see the guys walk across the street to get a better view of the trees and discuss the look of the tree and how to trim it. They kept checking the look of the tree as they were cutting. Excellent service and outcome! We recently moved into a home where a large mature tree in our back yard had been severely neglected. Arbor was quick, professional and very nice to work with. They have great communication, fair estimates, and arborists who know exactly what to do, and how to advise for the best outcome. Arbor Pro did a difficult tree removal for me yesterday. A big, 100 year old oak in my back yard, close to the house, with a deck around the bottom. They used a crane parked in the front street to go over the roof and, piece by piece, take it down and drop everything in front. They were FANTASTIC! Watching them work was a real pleasure. We live in Evergreen and have heated our home with wood over the last 10 years. Over the years we have worked with many tree companies to fulfill our winter solid fuel needs with great disappointment. After leaving messages with many different tree services this year Arbor Tree Experts were the only ones that returned our call. Given our past experiences of receiving less than half of our order and the wood being green I was nervous about the experience and was sure they would be a no show or we would be ripped off again. I was so pleased this morning. The delivery driver called at the time I was told he would call, he showed up when he said he would show up. He was accommodating and professional and most importantly we received the quantity and quality of wood we were promised. I know about Arbor-Pro, I worked there for many years! I know what goes on with the firewood, if you like mostly cottonwood,pine is in the mix when advertised as an all hardwood mix, bug infested and you are lucky to get a full cord. The spray applicator's are not fully trained, They don't know one tree from the other, they leave invoice even if job is not finished. The tree trimming are pot luck if you are lucky to get an experienced tree trimmer. The owner cheats employees of pay.... One of the good reviews was written by his sister in Texas. The estimates are priced much higher then most..because they say they are certified Arborist (lol) ask for their credentials. Tim the owner will not handle any complains, believe me there are plenty. This is the worst company I have ever worked with. Caution!!!! They scammed me on some winter deal saying they could get the dead out and they missed all kinds of dead. The deal was 10% off which they have year round according to their website. I called them over 30 times this summer trying to get them to make it right and they never return calls. Their voicemail should say that they will never call you back. They finally sent a guy out who left some expired business card - said he would take care of it and never heard from him again. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE Company. What ever they tell you about what your trees need is a total lie-they are hardly experts-maybe experts at screwing customers over!!!!!! read more

After receiving a letter from my HOA stating that I had ten days to trim my apple tree, I called all the arborists that I could find on google. Company after company told me that it would be 4-6 weeks. When I spoke to arbor pro, they also said 4-6 weeks but picked up in the defeat in my voice and asked if it was urgent. I told them about the letter and they said they would get an estimator out the next day. I received the quote and asked how soon they could schedule. The owner remembered my haste from before and had the team out the next business day. The team was right on time, friendly, and cleaned up afterwards. They even spoke to my neighbor since my tree was encroaching onto his yard. Also, thanks to a phone call from the leader the night before, I knew to warn my neighbors in advance (honestly hadn't thought about that.). read more

Don't hire this company. Unfortunately, after saving for years to be able to do extensive work on trees in our yard, the owner backed a truck into our front yard to access a tree, leaving permanent damage and depressions on our front yard. After multiple calls and outreach, it became clear that the owner Tim had zero interest in resolving this issue. He won't return calls despite clearly expressing our frustration. After extensive attempts and weeks of waiting, we finally had a manager Jeff come back to our place. While he wanted to be helpful, it's clear the depression are permanent and Tim is not interested in owning his mistake. In the midst of a pandemic and an economy where this kind of investment cost our family hard-earned money we saved for years, we've simply never experienced this kind of terrible customer service. We had a great experience with Arbor Pro. Our HOA gave us 30 days to trim a tree on our back patio. We got three estimates and chose Arbor Pro because their estimate was extremely well detailed. We knew EXACTLY what they planned to do. One tree is a really small job for any company, but they got to us even before the date they estimated, which was fantastic since we were in a time crunch. Did a great job trimming 3 - 80 +foot cottonwood trees. Really appreciate Chad who estimated the job. He wrote down exactly what was to be done. Thinned out excess growth. Cut out dead limbs and shaped the tops. The trees look great. This is the best trimming job I've had on these trees in a very long time. The foreman walked around and talked to me about what they did and made sure I was satisfied. Willingly made a couple of changes I was concerned about. Crew cleaned up completely. This year, after specific instructions, they were negligent in the way they pruned one of my large ash trees; and after a phone call to the company, they assured me they would be out on Monday. Arbor Pro (http://arborprotree.com/) took care of our trees for years. Then their tree trimming crew made some mistakes with a few of our trees -- poor cuts, trimmed limbs that provided privacy even though the work-order clearly stated they were not to be cut, etc. Their arborist followed up with us and agreed that mistakes were made, and said to give him a call in spring and they would come back out and check on health of the trees and fix any issues--at no cost. In spring I called and left messages for the arborist, but never received a call back. After leaving several messages with a few different people in the office, I finally realized the company was not interested in fixing their mistakes or honoring the commitment they made to us. After advising the company that I would be filing a BBB complaint, I proceeded to file the complaint. The BBB's attempts were also in vain ... and they ultimately closed the case listing the business as unresponsive. read more
