They sent a representative in May to look at the trees, agreed to replace 2 and then their arborist came out to fertilize the trees. She told me that fertilizing them would do nothing - that the trees "boiled" in the sun. She was going to come up with a plan for the correct trees for my backyard and get back to me by the weekend. That was in May. I texted Our Family Tree Service May 28th asking them if they were coming. I received a reply "Yes ma'am - we're putting you on the schedule". That was 5 weeks ago. We recently had a very old tree in our front yard finally partially collapsing. It had a special…read morespot in the yard and we had enjoyed it for many years. However all good things come to an end and the tree was telling us so. It was a willow and time to go. We contacted these folks and arranged for a cutting down of the tree so it would not pose a danger to others or to us. The quote was quite reasonable and we decided to go forward. We were in no rush and it was suggested we do so after the Christmas holidays. Monday was the scheduled date. Sure enough they showed up on Monday morning and it took about an hour to cut down the tree. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. They were careful to remove a bench which was under the tree but not damaged and then replace it in the same area when they were done. We are very pleased with the work they did and they seemed quite knowledgeable. The work was top notch. They seem busy all the time so if you are flexible and can work with them I'm sure any job will be done with great success.

The first time was to clean up a huge Maple tree stuck between a fence, deck, and shed. They were patient and took their time to ensure nothing surrounding the tree was damaged. The second visit was over five years later to take the same Maple tree down. Again, they brought down the tree safely without damaging the surrounding structures. They are competitively priced compared to what we have seen from other services used throughout our neighborhood. Royal tree is the best value for the money.

He was professional, knowledgeable and the quote was far more reasonable than the other company (services included removing a small dead aspen and pruning two large and four small trees). EDIT: As further validation Royal Tree was the right choice, the other company showed up at my house this morning to 'start services' even though I did not commit to, schedule, or confirm any sort of appointment with them.
