On a whim, I decided to see if I can find any Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters on hand at any of the shops and lo and behold, Google Maps told me that Talulah Jones had some and I went to double check on their social media account and they do! The shop is located in downtown Denver and is fairly easy to find from the gold sign front, the art of the animals having tea time outside, and just from the cute set up of the goods they have in the storefront. I was immediately welcomed when I stepped in and I say this with the utmost praise, but it's a cute, cluttered, maximalist shop! Piled from the ground up and onto the walls are super cute decor, knick knacks, toys and so much more. Perfumes, greetings cards, stickers, blind boxes, clothing for toddlers and infants, stuffed animals, unique hair clips and trinkets, felted ornaments, cuckoo clocks, clothes for adults, and so, so much more. If you're a child you can definitely spend hours in here and even as an adult shopping for a gift for a child or yourself, you'll spend a good chunk of time looking through their wares as well. I believe they are quite popular for their Jellycat plushies as I heard people ordering and inquiring about them on the phone and saw some customers purchase some. I managed to find my Calico Critters on a tall shelf but a staff was able to assist me. I got the Walnut Squirrel Family which is my favorite family (not in stock on their official online shop during this time and I didn't want to pay import taxes) and they had the Happy Christmas Family which I believe was only released in the UK/Japan, so I can't even find this one online on the official shop. Score! I also got some cute puffy stickers. For bypassing the tariffs and shipping, I think Talulah Jones is a fair, affordable place, at least to get Calico Critters. Would love to visit again.

DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! I don't even know where to begin with this review, as I have never…read moreexperienced such terrible service or dealt with such a shady company. I started my holiday planning early and called them in early October to get a bid on putting lights on my house and a large tree. The guy who came, Dominic, said he could make the tree look spectacular. He told me to buy 4,000 ft of lights and said I'd also be charged for a boom lift to reach the tree. I agreed and was excited. I ordered over $2,000 in lights, paid $100 an hour for labor and paid $250 for the boom lift. They ended up using only ONE box of lights out of the SEVEN I had. When I saw the tree, I could not believe It. It looks like a joke. I called Dominic expressing my disappointment. He said he'd talk to his boss and get back to me. He never did. I talked to the office, sent them pics of this ridiculous tree, and they promised they'd send a crew out at the end of the week to make things right and do the tree how they had initially promised. I decided to give them a chance to redeem themselves, so I waited. Needless to say, they didn't fix It. The installer called right before my appointment time and said they didn't have a boom lift, but would try to get the lights as high as possible BY STANDING ON A TRUCK, but most of the lights would be on the bottom of the tree. So now I am left with thousands of dollars in lights, I'm too late to get on anyone else's schedule, and my tree looks ridiculous. I'm also out hundreds of dollars I spent on the boom lift that didn't get used and several hours in labor they charged me to throw up a few strands of lights. This is by far the worst experience I've had with any company I've ever hired for anything.

BIGGEST FLAKES IN THE BUSINESS! Look at the other 1-star reviews, I had a similar experience. I…read moredealt with William, who asked me what time and day would work for me. After haggling back and forth for sometime, he finally agreed to meet me. Why ask me what day and time works for me, then say you're not available for any of my choices? I knew something might be wrong, but I proceeded ahead. What William asked next made me very wary, but I decided to be helpful. He asked me to remind him of the appointment the evening before!!! Hmm...have you been in a cave, or does your phone not have a calendar on it. You're a grown man, did your teachers have to call and remind you to do your homework when you were a kid? Get your sh*t together. After all of this, I remind this clown to come and take my money. Guess what? He was a no-show! No call, no text, nothing. Stay away from this poor excuse for a business, it's the worst all the way around!
