Nothing to complain about. Great choice for my mountain cabin firepit, as it's a lot easier to grab…read moresome for the weekend from here, than it is to trudge up the hill and cut down a dead tree. PS: I'm a certified arborist and the guy that gave this place a one-star rating is a total jerk. First of all, like he said, he can't prove that the insects came from her wood, and secondly, with as old as this wood has to be (to be dry enough to burn), it's virtually guaranteed that the insects didn't come from her wood stacks. Those little buggers have a very definitive life cycle and they almost certainly could not have lived long enough for this wood to be aged properly, let alone all the trauma of cutting up the trees with chainsaws. They would have buggered out of there long ago. IPS beetles have been here on the Front Range for generations and he should have been responsible enough to get them sprayed regularly to keep them safe, not blaming someone else for his misfortunes. Like I said earlier, total jerk.

However all good things come to an end and the tree was telling us so. It was a willow and time to go. We contacted these folks and arranged for a cutting down of the tree so it would not pose a danger to others or to us. The quote was quite reasonable and we decided to go forward. We were in no rush and it was suggested we do so after the Christmas holidays. Monday was the scheduled date. Sure enough they showed up on Monday morning and it took about an hour to cut down the tree. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. They were careful to remove a bench which was under the tree but not damaged and then replace it in the same area when they were done. We are very pleased with the work they did and they seemed quite knowledgeable. The work was top notch. They seem busy all the time so if you are flexible and can work with them I'm sure any job will be done with great success.
