I wish I could give Walker Lawn Service more than 5 stars!…read more Before contacting Ray, I tried multiple lawn care services that I found via a quick google search and received no reply. As soon as we reached out to Ray, he answered us SAME DAY! We were so grateful! We sent Ray a few photos and he quickly quoted us a fair price and scheduled a quick clean up. Our yard was in ROUGH shape, and Ray fixed it up better than it was when we moved into the place. He was meticulous and thorough, and he exceeded my expectations! Our yard is tough - all rocks and mulch and big bushes and weeds - but he really knew what he was doing and got it looking nice! He also hauled everything away, which was nice. Now I'm not embarrassed about the way our yard looks! We really appreciate Ray. I would 10/10 recommend Walker Lawn Service and will absolutely have him back!

I would STRONGLY caution anyone considering this company!!…read more This has been one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. The company advertises "professional, reliable, trained experts," but the service has been anything but that from day one. From the very first visit, the quality of work was disappointing. The man who arrived performed work that honestly could have been done by a teenager for a fraction of the cost, yet we were charged nearly $300. When I asked basic lawn care questions, his trained expert opinion was he wasn't sure. Completely unsure and unable to provide answers! They also promise advance notice before arriving, but they have failed to do so repeatedly. Crews have shown up as late as 8PM on a Saturday without any communication. Most concerning, while we were out of town, they SOMEHOW entered our LOCKED backyard without permission. We never authorized access, and entering a locked yard without consent is completely unacceptable and felt like a violation of our privacy. On top of that, the work itself is careless. Weeds along the sides are ignored, grass clippings are left piled around the house. For the amount they charge, the service is nowhere near worth it. This company requires full payment for the entire season upfront, but when we tried to cancel due to poor service and requested a refund since they would not be completing a full season worth of services, we were told "sorry wish we could help you, but the money has already gone to operations". Despite multiple requests, I have yet to receive documentation supporting the alleged "verbal no refund would be issued agreement". To make matters worse, during one of my calls, I overheard another customer expressing similar frustrations with the company's service!! Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. Would not recommend this company to anyone!!!

This is a huge difference in my book. 2 - They did a complete rebuild of my 24 year old home-made irrigation valve box, which we discovered had been built with inferior grade tubing. The new system is more streamlined, rugged, and puts out more water on all circuits. 3 - And maybe the most important, they came in WELL under my estimated budget for a project of this scope. BONUS - Jon (he's one of the J's) is a straight shooter, super honest and professional. Strongly recommend.

Sometimes you get what you pay for when you try to go with the least expensive vendor. Good luck if you choose to work with them. Additional note- I hired a good landscaper to come and re lay the turf that AAS had also poorly laid and they discovered when AAS laid the turf, they ran the drip line for the trees under the turf and put turf nails through it. Per the landscaper, "Either the last turf crew saw your drip line underneath the turf footprint and decided not to move it, or there lack of excavation depth failed to expose the line in their way. Laziness none the less and two of the turf nails are in the line. Could be why the ground was soaking wet today from running the drip line yesterday and possible an issue with water not getting to your last set of trees."

I was also having an issue with the drip line in my sprinkler system. He was able to find the problem quickly and fixed it at a good price. The issues we had are related to the copper pipe work. I would not recommend him for those types of jobs. On his first trip to our house, he left such a downward angle in the piping that I wouldn't be able to drain all of the water out in the fall. He agreed to come out and correct the issue. On his second visit, he redid the pipe work but somehow made everything worse. There was still a downward slope on the inlet pipe to the backflow preventer (see picture), and the outflow pipe was now crooked. I ended up paying another company to come out and correct his mistakes. I would recommend Dan for poly pipe problems. I would NOT recommend him for any copper pipe work. I don't think that's his area of expertise.
