The company advertises "professional, reliable, trained experts," but the service has been anything but that from day one. From the very first visit, the quality of work was disappointing. The man who arrived performed work that honestly could have been done by a teenager for a fraction of the cost, yet we were charged nearly $300. When I asked basic lawn care questions, his trained expert opinion was he wasn't sure. Completely unsure and unable to provide answers! They also promise advance notice before arriving, but they have failed to do so repeatedly. Crews have shown up as late as 8PM on a Saturday without any communication. Most concerning, while we were out of town, they SOMEHOW entered our LOCKED backyard without permission. We never authorized access, and entering a locked yard without consent is completely unacceptable and felt like a violation of our privacy. On top of that, the work itself is careless. Weeds along the sides are ignored, grass clippings are left piled around the house. For the amount they charge, the service is nowhere near worth it. This company requires full payment for the entire season upfront, but when we tried to cancel due to poor service and requested a refund since they would not be completing a full season worth of services, we were told "sorry wish we could help you, but the money has already gone to operations". Despite multiple requests, I have yet to receive documentation supporting the alleged "verbal no refund would be issued agreement". To make matters worse, during one of my calls, I overheard another customer expressing similar frustrations with the company's service!! Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. Terrible customer service as well…read more Planted trees incorrectly, per two different arborists who assessed the dying trees and plants. AAS tried to then pin the blame on me. Sometimes you get what you pay for when you try to go with the least expensive vendor. Good luck if you choose to work with them. Additional note- I hired a good landscaper to come and re lay the turf that AAS had also poorly laid and they discovered when AAS laid the turf, they ran the drip line for the trees under the turf and put turf nails through it. Per the landscaper, "Either the last turf crew saw your drip line underneath the turf footprint and decided not to move it, or there lack of excavation depth failed to expose the line in their way. Laziness none the less and two of the turf nails are in the line. Could be why the ground was soaking wet today from running the drip line yesterday and possible an issue with water not getting to your last set of trees."

Mark has done a lot of work at my house he is my go to for sprinkler blowout in the winter and turn on in the Summer. Recently he replaced my aging controll valves after a leak flooded my sprinkler box. I called and Mark quickly put me I to his crew busy schedule. They came out between jobs and fixed my system quickly. Mark even came back to my house after hours on his own time when I was unable to get one of my zones to work after the repair. He was able to come the next day to confirm the necessary work and the estimate. He replaced a leaky manifold, and malfunctioning sprinkler heads, and set up my new Rainbird Controller. Dan has considerable irrigation system experience based on his commercial work with golf courses. He understands common failure modes based on the age and type of parts and materials used in irrigation systems. He also understands local soil composition and its role in irrigation systems. His work was high quality and his price was reasonable.

My sprinkler backflow preventer was leaking so I hired Dan to replace it. His price was reasonable…read moreand his response time to questions was great. I was also having an issue with the drip line in my sprinkler system. He was able to find the problem quickly and fixed it at a good price. The issues we had are related to the copper pipe work. I would not recommend him for those types of jobs. On his first trip to our house, he left such a downward angle in the piping that I wouldn't be able to drain all of the water out in the fall. He agreed to come out and correct the issue. On his second visit, he redid the pipe work but somehow made everything worse. There was still a downward slope on the inlet pipe to the backflow preventer (see picture), and the outflow pipe was now crooked. I ended up paying another company to come out and correct his mistakes. I would recommend Dan for poly pipe problems. I would NOT recommend him for any copper pipe work. I don't think that's his area of expertise.
