We went to Serventi's for Valentine's day and it was very busy. The whole place (waitress, bartenders, etc) seemed very discombobulated. Our waitress brought us the wrong food and forgot part of our order. Once we finally got our food, it was delicious! We got the Cheese Wheel for an appetizer, which was okay. However, I got the Chicken Marsala for my meal and it was amazing. I would like to try it on a day that wasn't as hectic as valentine's day and hopefully the service will be better. read more

Used to love Serventi's. No more. Decided to go last Friday evening for dinner. Arrived about 5pm before any crowds. I witnessed the worst service I have ever seen anywhere. The table beside our waited over an hour for their meal, the waitress asked the 3 times what they ordered. When their food finally arrived she set the wrong meals in front of them. They had one guy waiting tables and bartending. He gave the guy at the table beside us the wrong beer. It took 10 minutes for the man to get someone to stop at his table to get him what he ordered. Friends were at another table. They walked out when no one came to get their order after 30 minutes. Another table walked out for the same reason. I could go on... Sad, this used to be a great place. I would give it 0 stars if I could. There for an office Christmas party ( social workers and nurses) and the service was beyond horrible. It took approximately 45 minutes to order and an hour to get the checks. It was the opinion of 10 professionals who work in the field that the waitress actually appeared to be on drugs. Tried to eat lunch there today. Waited 35 minutes for the waitress to get our drink order. We ordered our meals at the same time sensing it would be a while until she came back. We were right. She was the only waitress working at all and I suspect they had her doing things in the kitchen too. Tables not cleared, restaurant wasn't really that full, and we waited for our meal to arrive. It never did. We simply got up and left after an hour and fifteen minutes. While it's not completely the waitresses fault, she also wasn't really that great. I could just tell the place was not well run and out of sorts. No management team in place, no one came out to assist, no one stopped by to check on us. We won't be going back again ever. read more

We have gone here for 2 consecutive "sisters" Christmas dinners, and I have also been here for lunch. The food has been GREAT, the servers were friendly and attentive, and I love the atmosphere! So glad we found this gem! Will definitely go back. Had a great Cuban sandwich from the lunch menu! We all ordered different items from the dinner menu so we could try different things. Although I cannot remember specifically what we each ordered, I do remember thatEVERYTHING, including the hand mixed drinks was delicious. The stuffed mushrooms were incredible. My husband and I used to visit the old Serventis when it was located in downtown Butler. Although we live very close to the new location, we were hesitant to go based upon the mixed reviews over the past couple years. Tonight we decided to give it a shot and I am so glad we did. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. We made a reservation and were seated and waited on promptly. The served us fresh Italian bread and warm rolls with our salads. I had the Chicken Romano- my husband has the chicken Parmesan and both were fantastic. It reminded me of the old Serventi's. I do understand that Mr. Serventi took over the restaurant this past November and is doing a great job-perhaps the reason for the past bad reviews were due to management issues I am not sure. The menu is somewhat limited due to Covid, however we were able to find something with no problem. Our waitress was so friendly and quick to refill our drinks. The food arrived promptly. Lastly I didn't have dessert but the ones I saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. Looking forward to making this a regular spot to visit when we are in the mood for Italian! read more

This review is mostly about the Wednesday night Italian buffet. If not for a few things, I would have given a higher star rating. The food, for the most part was pretty good, but some of it was cold because they were relying on the heat from the canisters under the serving pans to warm it from the fridge. They had a pasta station with a chef preparing custom dishes upon request. The dessert selection was a disappointment. There were a couple of gelatin/cool whip/graham crust type things and some cookies. I mean, you are an Italian restaurant, so why not some panna cotta, tiramisu or cannoli? It would have gotten you another star from me and made the price (which is a little high for the Butler area) a little easier to swallow. We came with a party of 12 for a birthday dinner. We had a reservation so they knew in advance of the size of the party. We sat here for a good 10 minutes before ordering drinks and appetizers. Those were good. We then waited an hour for our food and it was terrible. Half the dishes were overcooked and the other half came out cold in the center. I would not recommend this place for large parties. The manager did comp the cold meals and appetizers. I will give them that. Poor service and awful food would prevent me from ever coming back. This used to be The Runway and you can tell the new ownership never even redecorated. Really sad when this place had potential to be amazing. read more

Our large group of 12 friends were looking forward to the reopening of this Butler renowned restaurant and they did not disappoint. The fresh remodel truly makes the restaurant much warmer and inviting than in previous years. The decor is well presented and very up to date. Cocktail list was updated with a wide variety being offered. We started with a few appetizers: calamari, fried ravioli, smelts, fried provolone and bang bang shrimp. All were presented well and were very good. For dinner we ordered Chicken Romano, Cod Romano, Chicken Marsala, Filet, Spaghetti with Meatballs and Seafood Pasta as well as others. It all reminded us of the Serventi's of the past, which means great things for this restaurants future. Everything we ordered was great! Kelli our waitress did a very nice job handling the party of 12. Alisha, one of the owners, stopped at our table after dinner for feedback and was truly interested in our input. Went this past Saturday night for dinner. There are four of us and the restaurant was extremely busy but we ordered and got our meals in a timely fashion. I had the Mediterranean Cod and others in the group had the veal marsala and steak. We enjoyed our meals and the service was great especially for how busy they were. We used to eat at the old location downtown and this is the first time at the new and it didn't disappoint. I had one of the specials which was seafood manicotti and it was great. My wife had the chicken marsella and it was great as well. Service was very good. We will definitely be coming back to try some other dishes. read more

The birthday girl was super excited to hear that one of her favorite restaurants was reopening. The new location is awesome it's now located near the Butler County Airport which lends to beautiful views of planes taking off and landing. This place was jammed pack I would suggest to make a reservation. We were greeted immediately upon our arrival and had to wait about 15 min for our table that's with a reservation. I'm not gonna hold that them just chaulkin it up as growing pains. The menu has been scaled down from a lot . (Please bring back the chicken piccata) We started off with the provolone wheel. It was oooey gooey just like a cheese wheel should be. I ordered the lobster bisque which was flavor but not as creamy as I would like. My entree I decided on the chicken parmesan. This was the worst dinner I have ever had. The artichoke dip was nothing more than a can of artichokes with cheese melted over them. I had the Italian sampler. The sauce was runny and the lasagna was very dry. My friend had veal parmigiana and the veal was dry and tasted like it was microwaved. It took forever to get the food. It took thirty-five minutes to get my wedding soup, which was cold. I had the manicotti, which was decent and a large portion, and my husband had a flat bread pizza that he said was very good. We went last night for my aunt's 50th birthday dinner. When my aunt called to make the reservation they said that they would give her a window seat, but because something else was going on at the same time they did not. That was our first upset. Then, they did pretty good with our drinks on time, but the food service was horrible. We all ordered our meals at the same time. Out of nine meals they got four wrong. How hard is it to get all nine meals right. You would think ok maybe one or two meals someone messed up ok that's fine, but four. I did not get my meal until the rest of my family was done eating and I did not want them to have to wait for me, so I just took mine to go. We will never go back there again. This was my second visit here and I will never go back. I had fish and fries for dinner. The fish was over cooked with a burnt bun and the fries were under cooked. This was my first time at this restaurant and I have been nothing but disappointed. We were told a half hour wait. After an hour and a half, we had to find the hostess and asked if we could be seated. Once we were finally seated we sat at the booth for twenty minutes and NEVER saw our waitress. We went back up to the hostess and asked for our waitress. She finally came by. It was obvious there was chaos in the restaurant as we watched the owner sit at a table laughing and having a good time with his family. We came with a large group and we will never be back. Located at the Butler County Airport, the location provides a great vista of airport operations and the beautiful countryside. But aside from the view, this is the hot local spot so reservations on a weekend are recommended It's a family run establishment so expect to be greeted by Mr. Serventi, a long time seasoned restauranteer and caterer. The bar is friendly. The food is well prepared and flavorful with attention given to pasta preparation, seasoning and presentation. My wife and I went to Seventi's for supper yesterday, and the service was good and the food fine! We had some delicious stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, and nice salads came with our main dishes, though the other comment on the restaurant about their Blue Cheese Dressing was right on...as mine didn't have much Blue Cheese flavor at all, no chunks of cheese but mostly just a creamy dressing with tiny bits of something in it that might have been Blue Cheese. I would have given the Blue Cheese dressing only 2 stars, but my wife said her Italian Dressing was very tasty. We both had pasta Alfredos, hers with the cheese tortellini and mine with the shrimp and scallops. They were both very good, although neither came up to the standard by which I judge Alfredos: those of the former Rebecca Tambolini's restaurant near Allison Park on Rte 8, now, sadly, closed and no more. But the Alfredo here was rich and quite buttery and well deserves the 4 stars. Also, the ambience at the airport is interesting and nice. The wait staff was great, and deserves a 5 star rating. We got there at 5:30 PM, and by the time we left an hour or so later, the place was nicely filling up. We'll most likely go there again and try other goodies! read more

Food was pretty bland and when brought to the servers attention she communicated that they get a lot of complaints about that. While packing our leftovers, our waitress dropped a piece of chicken on the floor and said that she would go get a new piece made. Around 10 seconds later she brings out a cold piece of chicken apologizing for dropping the leftovers. Upon investigation of the piece of chicken, we found that it was the same piece that was dropped on the floor and still had sour cream on it from the baked potato that was on the plate. The waitress argued with us so we asked for the manager. The manager came out who was very slovenly dressed in shorts and a ripped t-shirt. He was somewhat argumentative with us saying that the waitress didn't do it. Only after demanding that the food be taken from our bill did he comply, didn't offer. This was the first time in a long time that my husband and I got to go to dinner without the kids. It was a wonderful experience from the moment I made the reservation. We were seated on time by a host named Patrick who I watched throughout the night being very hands on with all tables. He is young gentleman, we found out he was a junior in high school and in my opinion if he continues this type of work ethic will go quite far in life.Our waitress Jenn B was amazing. Since it was our first time there we asked for recommendations, she recommended the artichoke hearts with pita bread as an appetizer which was spot on. My husband ordered the special lobster ravioli combo which had amazing flavor and I had the scallops and shrimp over angel hair, again flavors were great. We spoke to the manager Joe who was took the time to hear what we had to say about our experience. He did not rush us through or just blow us off by saying "thanks". I am happy to say that once the husband and I get another free night we will be returning to Serventi's. With the great food and big portions, fun atmosphere, and really good service what's not to like. read more
