Stopped here with our kids after being in butler! The first thing I snagged was an apple cider margarita! Yum! Flavors were great, I do wish there was a brown sugar rim! Service was great! Our waitress was so kind and patient! It's so fun watching the planes land and take off My kids devoured the mozzarella sticks And I got the pistachio crusted halibut and it was very good! This place is so cool! It's a part of the airport and you're on the top floor so you get to see the planes take off and land. I love the idea behind that since it's a smaller localized airport. We went for an early dinner and got a few drinks and met some friends. I ordered the Strawberry Mojito and then a Chocolate Rasberry Martini. Both were DELICIOUS! Next it was time to order the food. I ordered the Cajun Blackened Chicken with Gluten Free Pasta and it was soooo good. The seasoning on it was perfect and it was the perfect amount of crisp to it and the pasta was good too. It was a perfect (low wind) day to fly to Butler airport for lunch at Serventi's. It's a 35 minute flight over the Allegheny River and the beautiful hills of Western Pennsylvania. We shared crispy coconut shrimp with peach chutney. I had a roasted beet salad with blue cheese crumbles and candied pecans. The Salmon I added was melt in your mouth tender. Lynne ordered char-grilled yellowtail amberjack fillet topped with a soy glaze served w/ rice pilaf and pickled slaw. It was amazing! read more

Decided to stop in for dinner for the first time tonight while my brother was in town. We had a wonderful experience! We were given a table promptly. Our food came out as expected and our wait staff, Savanna, provided us with a perfect wine and entree pairing. As a wine snob myself, I was impressed with her suggestions! The salmon could have had a more generous portion of asparagus, but other than that we have no complaints. Went back to Serventis recently. We wanted a chance to sit on their newer outdoor deck. However, it was not open at that time. It is enjoyable having lunch and watch the planes taking off and landing. Still had lunch inside. Service was excellent but the food we got was OK to good. The mushroom appetizer was a little disappointing. The wedding soup was OK. The pasta dinner we took home was good. Nice view all around though. read more

Enjoyed the drinks we had at the bar, but were thrown off by the "welcome" when we entered. Wanted to just have a drink on the patio but we were told by the chef that we could go out there after ordering a drink at the bar but not to sit on the couches or at the tables. We could stand at the rail. Everyone seemed lovely except the chef. We had drinks - at the bar- I had 2 Italian Mules and my husband had coke. The drinks were very good. Would have loved to go on the deck but didn't feel that was welcomed. I did watch the chef go out and smoke there, but we were at the bar for over an hour and there was one couple that ate there. The sacred couches were never used. I'm sure we will go back but DID NOT appreciate how we were treated this time. Good selection of food with 2 menus - the standard menu and weekly specials. I was impressed with the variety. The Salmon with Habanera Pineapple Chutni was excellent. Nice spice without being too strong. The staff was friendly and efficient. Booth benches were a little far from the table. We'll sit at a table with chairs next time. Overall great experience. Would NOT recommend!!! The service is friendly but once they leave our table, things are incredibly slow! The manager/co-owner is incredibly rude and didn't bother telling us PRIOR to the meal that all 11 of our dinners were on ONE bill, and he said the best we can do is divide the bill evenly between all of us. The food was cold for the most part, and it took so long to come to the table, once it did arrive it really was not impressive. We've taken care of our server, but not a single one of us will return. Lovely location, great food, professional service. We were passing through and this unique option, located at the Butler Regional Airport, seemed like it would be fun. It was! We were seated right at the windows, and could watch planes take off and land throughout our meal. Call me a kid, but flight still fascinates me. Darling husband and I both ordered from the daily specials. My lobster tortellini was wonderful. Served with roasted pepper, onions and asparagus in a vodka sauce, the generous portion hit the spot! My husband's pan seared salmon was served over rice and under a pesto cream sauce. Let's just say his double portion of fish did not go uneaten. We both got our own servings of tiramisu because, well, it's tiramisu! It did not disappoint! Ending our meal over tiramisu and coffee topped off a superior meal. Service was quick and good, and our server was able to answer all our questions about the menu. There is a large bar in one corner, also overlooking the runway, so if that's your thing I suspect it would make a pleasant view for you. read more

I have not been here for a while. I was pleasantly surprised. The seafood mac & cheese was amazing! Our service was fast and our waitress Zoe was wonderful. What a nice relaxed atmosphere to sit and watch the airplanes take off as you eat and listen to some Frank Sinatra. We will definitely be visiting again soon. read more

We were in the mood for an Italian dinner and there aren't many y options in the Sarver/Butler area so we decided to give Serventi's at the Butler Airport a try. They have a great little outdoor patio, but we opted for inside and called and made reservations. We were seated at the windows and the view is perfect to watch private planes coming and going. We were promptly greeted by our waitress and we asked her for some drink recommendations. I am not sure how much experience she has had with cocktails because she told us the Old Fashion was an after dinner drink (oh my ). We did get drinks and the Old Fashion was one of them. They did not disappoint. They were definitely one of the highlights of our meal. We asked for dinner recommendations and she told my husband that the pork chop was HUGE and as big as the dinner plate. We ordered the zucchini planks which were dark on one side and light on the other??? The dinner salads came and they were good. Nothing fancy, but enough. I ordered the raviolis with a meatball and they were very good. Unfortunately, the pork chop that hubby ordered was not as big as promised, but it was very well prepared and tasked great. I had to laugh because the knife I was given was noticeably bent, but used it anyway. I really wanted to give 5 stars, and this restaurant could get there, but the overall experience had some glitches which I feel that I had to mention. Very nice experience from beginning to end including food and service. We were seated right away. It was a Friday evening and they were pretty full so I was glad they had a table. There was a sign up on the way in noting that post pandemic they were struggling with staffing and asking for patience, but you would have never known as the service was excellent. The staff was working together to make sure glasses were filled and they checked on us several times, so even short staffed on a Friday they were on top of everything. The menu was impressive with both classic Italian dishes and several modern dishes that you don't see everywhere. I had the chicken Parmesan. It was beautifully pounded out and the breading was crisp and flavorful. My dad had the Gemelli pasta with pesto/herbs. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the herbs were fresh. My other had the fried ravioli which she said was excellent. The atmosphere was elegant enough for a date but welcoming and comfortable enough for just dropping by because you don't want to cook tonight. Went with party of 14 for Easter buffet reservations at 1 pm wasn't seated at 1:40 and was told we had an hour to eat? Food was OK, checks were messed up. Daughter has a stomach disorder and couldn't finish her 2 cookies and decided to take them with her. Manager/bartender dropped an F bomb about cookies being taken. Tried this place for the first time this evening. The space is nicely appointed and the service was very friendly. Be warned, it is on the second floor and there are stairs. We ordered the ricotta meatball dish and it was tasty. The marinara was superb but the meatballs were a little tough. Maybe mixed too much? The gnocchi dish was good and my wife enjoyed her stuffed fish. We were surprised at the quality of menu and drink offerings at this little airport. We definitely will put this place on our list of places to take friends. read more

Fool me once.... I won't be back. Reservation for 5, seated immediately. Great! On the drink menu there's a Negroni with Campari listed in the ingredients. I ordered a Campari and soda (getting my tastebuds ready for Italian). Server said they don't carry Campari, but something close to it. So, I tried it. NOPE. Drink menu didn't seem reliable AND our bartender was also taking at least 3-4 tables. I ordered a bottle of wine (Pinot Nero from Italy) she brings us Meiomi Pinot Noir.... Not even close. These are COMPLETELY different wines! The server tells us the manager said we can just have the Pinot Noir. I told her that was the only wine on the list I did not want. I wanted what I ordered. On to the Charcuterie board ($19) this had 7 crackers, 3 types of square cheese from Giant eagle (none of them should have been in a board)- the meat was same deal- out of a variety pack from giant eagle. Nothing made in house to demand the $19 price point. This was maybe $$0.75 worth of crackers and cheese. pro-tip- put a scoop of jam on the board! Mushroom app was the best part of the meal. Veal Marsala was so tough I had to use a steak knife to cut this "tender" cut of meat. Hardly any seasoning on the veal. It was very bland. Ambiance, was .... If you like looking over a full bar of dirty glassware- this is the place for you. All around this place was terribly managed, and executed. When the manager didn't talk to us after the wine mixup... We went a while ago. The food was sub par at best and the waitress was awful. We waited forever to be waited on. The table was sticky and the waitress was sloppy looking with pink hair. If you're gonna have a restaurant that's supposedly a bit upscale don't let your wait staff have pink hair and look sloppy. read more

Everything was pretty good till after we left the restaurant.... My daughter had found this place and was looking forward to taking us on a recent visit due to Serventi's unique location. Serventi's is on the top floor of the Pittsburgh Butler Regional Airport and over looks the runway! It is a neat place have a meal as planes are arriving and departing and there is ample opportunity to see them. We ordered wine and my daughter upgraded her and my wife's bread to their house cheese bread while ordering. She suggested that since the orders were large we only should upgrade half of our dinners since house bread is also served. I had a nice house merlot with my meal which was a Italian sausage with a hearty tomato sauce, cheese and banana peppers with pasta. My wife and daughter ordered raviolis and asked for a split of cheese and meat raviolis which was served with a tomato sauce. My wife and daughter are ravioli fans and enjoyed their meal. I thought mine was good but the sauce was a little heavy as the dish was served in a pan and may have boiled off too much. It was all good until about two hours later when my daughter said she was not feeling well and we left a brewery we had decided to try out close to their house. My wife later on in the evening and well into the night was ill multiple times and it is highly likely it was the ravioli dishes she and my daughter had. So...While the food was good I am not sure I would ever want to go back. Food 1-3.5 Food Poisoning gets a 1 the rest was above average but not some place I would crave. Service 4 Our server was very nice and helpful in our selections. She took care to make sure we were not to handle the piping hot dishes we were served. Atmosphere 5 How cool to be eating at an airport (in a comfortable and quiet setting. Note - I have eaten a lot of meals in airports and this would be the way to do it. Price 2-4 Our meal based on late night sickness was not of much value. To be fair though they seem to have a number of specials (Happy Hour and meal deals, so if you decide to risk it check them out before you go). This is a great location for a great restaurant! It's a great view out onto the runway to see the mighty and majestic metal birds flying into the sky. Their elevator is to my liking as well. The waiter we had was a bit uncoordinated, but he kept his beard in tip top shape! The Mancini pasta was fantastic and plentiful in flavor. The salad was very fresh. Although, the yellow pepper squirted me in the nose with an angry look whenever I tried to bite into it. I think this place needs to take their disciplinary actions to the next level to calm these peppers down. read more

An absolute mess. Pretty sure that they must be running on a shoestring. The waitress claimed to be swamped, but for a Saturday night, there weren't that many people. There were seven of us and of all the meals, two apps, and bread; the only thing that was good was one of the appetizers. I apologize that I didn't take a photo of my ravioli Florentine that was more of a few over cooked ravioli swimming in a soup of oil. Just horrible. read more
