My Husband and I went in to have a late lunch before work for the first and only time. When I food arrived its was wrong. She blamed the POS since the buttons were right next to each other. Then she asked my husband if he still wanted it, really. She never once's asked me how my food was. This ridiculous. You will never get our service again. I've traveled to many places and I'm a big foodie. This was the worst experience I've had since moving to Butler. I give this place zero stars! read more

My cousin and I went for an early dinner (4:00) on a Monday. We parked out front, walked in and were greeted and seated right away. The Hostess/waitress even took our drink order before leaving us to view the menu. The ambience was on the older/homey layout but very comfortable and clean. We even noticed throughout dinner that everyone seemed to know everyone. Service was way better than average. Someone always came around to refill our drinks or remove plates etc. I ordered the spaghetti with Italian sausage and my cousin ordered the lasagna. Though my spaghetti was ok and I finished it all, I really liked the lasagna better. The dinners came with Italian bread and butter and a side salad, nothing fancy but very tasty and filling. The total bill with a tip was $41.00. Definitely a great price for what we got. I recommend Natali North and will be back. read more

Absolutely pathetic. If any other actual Italian ate here, I am sure their reviews are similar to mine. I ordered the fettuccini Alfredo w chicken. Entirely inedible. The Alfredo sauce was so thin, I was certain your kitchen had used a Lean Cuisine fettuccini Alfredo dish (or two) and added grilled chicken to it. The sauce was as thin as water. With NO taste. Absolutely garbage. I could have gotten better a better pasta dish at Applebees or even, DOMINOS PIZZA. Again, I said pathetic. This is why. Just close down the place bc it's obvious you don't give a single care about your own business or your own food!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN. Waste of money. High price which is worth it for authentic Italian food. This IS NOT that. STAY FAR AWAY. read more

Stopped in here for dinner during a business trip based on the good reviews. The place had a very nice local italian cafe atmosphere to it... and the service was very attentive. For an appetizer on this cold night, I started with a tomato dill soup and a dinner salad. The soup was pretty decent and hearty with some macaroni noodles inside. For my entree, I opted for the chicken parm as it came highly recommended (pictures uploaded) - it was a good portion, but it was covered in an tomato and olive sauce that overwhelmed the chicken in my opinion. I'm sure some people love this dish, but it wasn't my cup of tea. The chicken parm came with a small side of pasta with sauce that was okay. It seemed to be a great place though to a group to get together casually and dine on local italian cuisine. The menu was pretty diverse and I imagine that this would be a decent place to grab lunch. All in all it was a decent dinner with great service - however, if I were to return, I would probably order something else. read more

This restaurant has a name that preceded itself in this town, so I finally had to see what all the talk was about. After eating there, I'm still wondering. I would love to come on here to rave about an old school Italian restaurant that holds true to the standards of such an establishment, but there's just so little to applaud. We sat for five minutes before we even were greeted. Or had silverware. Ten before water and (meh) bread. (It's puzzling to me how an Italian eatery serves lousy bread. But that's me. ) They were out of the dinner special before 5:00. (???). Fine. I just ordered meatballs, which I usually do when trying an Italian place for the first time. Good test of the basics. My companion ordered the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. The good news is that the fettuccine Alfredo was quite good. As was the ranch dressing for the salad. I would definitely recommend that to others. The not-so-good news, in my opinion, is their sauce. If I could make a comparison, I'd say it tastes like the sauce you get at Sheetz. :/. The service never got any better, as the waitress forgot our requests a few different times. She was kind and perhaps overworked, as she was dealing with fellow diners who had overcooked steaks. Perhaps the name of the place hearkens back to nostalgic days of yore. I do know that there used to be a "fancier" location down the street. I found this gem, while visiting a friend in Butler. Now I drive up at last 3-4 times a year from Pittsburgh for this amazing Italian. First off, the atmosphere is quaint hime town diner feel, the waitresses are always on point abs so kind. Second off we gotta talk about there sauce ... best pasta red sauce I have ever had! They call at the "cacciatore" style sauce abs it is amazing... especially in the chicken parm. Also their cod is great as well! All around best Italian I have ever had! read more

I love it. It's perfect if you go on weekday nights because there are less people so you get a more attentative waitress. The food on the weekend is just as great, but there is a greater chance of a wait for a seat and a lower quality in service. I like it for the Italian food and because when I go on weekdays it's perfect for conversation and I feel like I have my own personal waitress. read more

My girlfriend and I wanted to try some good Italian food without worrying about the quality of the food. So we checked yelp on our iPhones and found Natili Main Street butler. I ordered the pasta platter , as I am a huge fan of olive gardens tour of Italy. The salad and bread arrived, the salad was perfect the house Italian was amazing. The bread was cold, along with the butter packets that I needed a chisel to get the butter out, so bread with my meal was a no go as I pushed the cold bread and rock hard butter aside. My main course arrived, instantly my senses were overtaken by an overwhelming smell of tomatoes. I knew before I tasted the sauce I was going to be very disappointed. And I was, too many wannabe Italian restaurants are afraid to season their sauces. What you are left with is a steaming bowl of tomato paste over pasta. I have been all over the US and the sauce was tasteless, wreaked of tomatoes. A good sauce does not smell like nasty tomato paste. It smells pleasantly of herbs, spices, garlic.. You can quickly tell who has taken their time too craft you a professionally tasting pasta meal. Clearly here is not where you get it. We will not return. read more

Man I don't know if I just ordered the wrong item or what. But based on the basic dish that I ordered this place is just plain bad. I ordered the Italian sausage with peppers and onions. What this item amounted to was a small sausage link sliced in half and placed in a bun that literally swallowed the small amount of meat. It was then stuffed with loads of onions and peppers which would have been fine if it had been filled with more sausage. I emptied the bun of the veggies and lil bit of meat and ate it that way. =\ Bottom line: too much bun, not enough sausage = Fail. If they can't execute a basic Italian sausage with peppers and onions correctly I seriously doubt that their other plates are edible. This unacceptable experience was really disappointing as I was really wanting some good homemade Italian before I headed back to Texas. read more

Natili North is a Butler tradition. Very good food at a good price in a great, tiny cramped space (which is part of the experience!). The Wedga is a star on the menu as well as the soup/salad and desserts (almond torte and Boston cream pie is exceptional!) Possibly due to decline in business in downtown Butler, the restaurant has increasingly been out of products and sometimes short-staffed in recent years... The menu and food preparation style has an Italian slant, but Butler folks love their breaded and deep fried comfort foods, burgers, and anything you can douse in ketchup and malt vinegar (Heinz only!) Natili North is an experience, a good one, and a proudly unique Butler institution! read more

I've dined here twice. The waitress recognized me on my second visit that was months, it not a year prior. That's just the kind of service you'll find here. I love the fact it's a bit narrow, it reminds me of diners you see in New York City in movies. The food is always delicious, and the prices can't be beat. Good bread, too! Best fish sandwiches in Butler. I've had the Cod sandwich on sourdough bun, excellent! Great ambience too. . Today I tried a Veggie sandwich, Eggplant parmesan. It came with a wonderful Italian sauce to dip it in. The bun was light, but with a crunchy crust, and dressed with a handful of baby spinich leaves instead of boring iceberg lettuce. Many daily soup choices as you side. Yum, Yum, Yum! I've been there many, many times over the years and never been disappointed. Natili North, decent if they are open! State they close at 10pm on nights, but they will close before that and say "we close at 9:30" instead. Poor service to say the least. Also when you eat in they have forgotten our order, or keep you waiting to pick up at the desk when your food is done and waiting... read more

I have heard good things about this place but what we experienced was far from nice. The dining room is extremely dark & cramped and the booths are very old, ripped, and sagging, to the point you feel like you are sitting on the floor. There was a wait when we arrived. After we were seated we waited another 15 minutes for our server. It appeared that they were extremely short staffed and the waitresses were frazzled looking. The food was decent. I ordered the stuffed porkchop. It was homeade and would have been excellent except that it was cold in the center and trying to get our waitresses attention was impossible. My husband had a bean soup with ham and the veal italian. He said the soup was excellent. The veal however was a very disappointing. A thin, processed, patty with very runny, underseasoned sauce. Maybe it would have been better on not so busy a night but I couldn't reccommend this establishment. Also, as a side note, the restrooms are down a very steep flight of stairs in the basement. read more
