Went here for Valentine's Day dinner with a group of six. We arrived about 25 minutes before our reservation and spent some time in the lobby area taste-testing a few wines and chatting. The restaurant was only about 50% full, so it didn't seem overly busy. We were seated in the back and ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees within about five minutes. Our waitress was incredibly nice and attentive -- she was quick with our first two rounds of refills and had a great attitude the entire night. Unfortunately, the timing of the food really hurt the experience. Our appetizers didn't come out until about 45 minutes after ordering, and our entrees arrived an hour and a half after we were seated. By the time our dinners came out, we were the last table left in the restaurant. To make things more frustrating, the meals were brought out in two separate rounds about 10 minutes apart. When the second round finally came, we ended up asking for boxes and the check right away. The food itself was absolutely delicious, and our waitress did everything she could to take care of us. That's why we're giving 3 stars. But waiting an hour and a half for dinner -- especially when the restaurant wasn't very busy -- is just not acceptable. We'd consider giving it another try, but only if the kitchen timing improves. read more

It's so pretty inside of here. I went here with my mom and my grandma when they first opened. The food was good and they really enjoyed their green beans. We all got the cod dishes with the potatoes and green beans along with their salad and I think my mom had the soup. The only thing I would like if there were more gluten free options like if I wanted a sandwich, I could get one. Besides the cauliflower crust pizza and the cod, the options for gluten free are limited. Also the bread on the table, oh how I miss bread but if you're gluten free, there is no bread for you. I wasn't hungry after my meal but I was surprised they offered a gluten free dessert because a lot of places don't. The service was lovely as well. I am surprised we were placed in the front compared to the back but it seemed rather loud in the back room with the larger parties. Tried a few wines, pretty typical for Pennsylvania table wines but were a bit pricey. Service was friendly and food came out pretty quickly. Beautiful patio. Good food. Very nice service. Started with a wine flight that came in super cute little bottles. Had the drunken mussels that came with a baguette- sorry no picture because we ate them too fast lol. Had a small pizza with pepperoni, hot sausage and bacon....all was excellent including the crust, sauce and cheese. Finished out the meal with a 1/2 bottle of the Old Vine Zin. My boyfriend and I went for Valentine's Day. We had a reservation for 8:30. We waited for 15 minutes after our time to be seated. The hostess brought us over some water and said the server would be with us in a few moments. At 9:45 after waiting an entire hour we decided to leave. Not a single server even looked in our direction. We sat for an hour and watched other tables get refilled wines, appetizers, and even entrees and we still weren't acknowledged. It felt as though they purposefully weren't looking at us when they asked the other tables near us if they needed anything. One server even sat down with a table to chat. When we finally decided to leave, none of the four staff members just simply sitting in the front of house even looked at us. Needless to say our Valentine's Day plans were ruined. I've never left a review for a restaurant but this was the worst experience one could possibly imagine. Called ahead and reserved a table for my girlfriend and I on Valentines Day. We were seated and the hostess gave us two waters. After that we sat for over an hour with our menus and waters and were not even acknowledged by a single staff member. Didn't even have our drink orders taken. Other tables in the room at least received drinks and appetizers but they were most all visibly irritated. In that hour only one table in the room received their entree. At first I thought they might be short staffed but then saw when we left that there was a group of staff sitting behind the host station looking at their phones. We've always enjoyed dining at this restaurant - good food, good service, and beautiful patio. Last Sunday, August 27th, we had reservations for 3 at 5:00 on the patio. I heard my husband on the phone and was clear on the date/time. They seemed to have trouble as he was put on a long hold twice, but it was done. It was a beautiful day and told my mother how nice it was to eat on the patio. When we arrived they had us in for Thursday the 31st. They did squeeze us in to eat inside in the room in the back, telling us there was no staff to serve outside. It's not a short drive for us so we stayed. Okay....our meal and service was still good. However, at 6:15 when we were leaving there were customers being served out on the patio! So was it open or closed? And how do they decide who to serve where? Almost drove past this little gem. The vibe from the outside is not the same at all as what you get when you walk in. There's also a lovely outdoor area. When you walk in to the indoor restaurant you are invited to sample as many wines as you like. I have to say I didn't love any but it was fun to do. I chose to sit inside for dinner. Let me start by saying how fantastic the food is. I had the Sausage Burrata Pasta. Everything on the menu looked amazing so I had a difficult time choosing but this dish is a winner! Priced at $20 your portion makes this more than a fair price in my opinion. I also started with the drunken mussels. They were basic mussels nothing fancy and probably wouldn't order again. If I'm able to return I will definitely switch to either the lasagna crostini or the banana pepper dip. Others at my table ordered them and they were delectable! I also placed an order to-go for a white pizza...it was the best white pizza I've ever had in my life. Extra cheesey with all the right spices! On a constructive criticism note...We did have a few issues with service. We were a party of 10 and were there for over 2 hrs without our food. But I try to be very understanding especially since we were out in the patio and our waitress had to run back and forth from us to in the restaurant. My only other negative would be that they did not have their wine slushees that day. Super sad about that since I had looked forward to them all day! It's a great little addition to the neighborhood. There's an outdoors area to enjoy some wine and food along with a spacious interior. We came here for an early dinner. The portions are generous! We really enjoyed our savory pastry brioche plate. The pasta was more watery than we are used to. The salad was humungous. I ate about 1/5 of it and took the rest home for 4 other meals. Our server was nice but she forgot about us a few times. But we ended up just walking up to find whoever was available and asked for whatever we needed. It's nice they are open during COVID, however when trying to give them your business they turn you away if you call for Togo etc anytime after 6 and are flat out told no and hung up on. I usually really enjoy this place but customer service is important even when having to "turn away" business. Wow! This is a great place! I had been there one time for lunch right after they opened and didn't do a review since it was a business meeting. First time for dinner and first time in back room. The service was great! Beth took good care of us as we enjoyed several different wines at the tasting bar in the front, and had appetizers of "the loaf" pepperoni roll and a sausage roll, and artichoke dip. In additional n to their in-house wine selection, they had a selection of beers from Troegs brewery in Hershey Pa. our dinners were great, the serving sizes were awesome, I will finish my dinner tomorrow for lunch. Thank you to the owners of this establishment for being able to continue to get restauranting right. Veterans Day afternoon we found ourselves in the area and stopped in. In short, we will be regulars now. My wife and had had some wine tastings before being seated and then enjoyed some appetizers. We planned on eating more but the portions for the apps we ordered satisfied our lunch crave. Certainly we will head back for dinner and I'll post more info as well as pics. Service staff is fantastic and certainly gets it on how to keep people coming in and coming back.
