I loved -every- wine we tried. I ran through the gambit of their wines, and I was impressed by every one of them. The quality, clarity, and taste honestly outperformed places that you'd expect to be much better. Their wines have a smoothness, quality and drinkability that highly outperforms other places. This has quickly become one of my favorite wineries. It's a place where you can go to let your hair down, be COMFORTABLE, and still be IMPRESSED with extremely high quality wine! Highly suggest trying EVERYTHING. But, I will do a shout-out to their Vidal, their Niagara and their fruit wines. I will also add this. I normally HATE cabernet. It's just not my thing, honestly. But...this place is the ONLY cabernet that I've found that I can tolerate... and actually LIKE and ENJOY it! They truly run the place concerned with your experience, and how good their wines are. It's quite obvious they actually take the quality of their wine seriously. Highly recommend!

We were warmly greeted by Todd and Gina, the owners, who couldn't have been friendlier. Todd told us all about their wines, including the awards they've won, especially in California, and generously offered us the chance to try any of the wines at no cost. We started with the Gruner Veltliner, a bright, citrusy, and crisp wine. It was extremely dry compared to other Gruners we've had, which are usually more fruit-forward, but it was still quite enjoyable. Next, we tried the Riesling, which was also very good. My wife moved over to the semi-sweet side and tried the Traminette, which I eventually sampled after trying all the dry wines. We both really liked it. I then tried the Cabernet Franc, which was a medium-bodied wine with notes of raspberry, blueberry, and a light mocha oakiness--delicious! The Chambourcin was also quite good, without the typical bite or tartness. Lastly, the Flagship Red, a classic Bordeaux-style dry red, had a pleasant hint of pepper and was definitely a standout. Todd shared that they exclusively offer wines from Stony Run Vineyards in Breinigsville, PA, which has a wide selection. They're also planning to offer Old Fashioneds soon, as their winery includes a distillery, and they'll be featuring a "drink of the week" as well. What really sets this place apart, though, is Todd and Gina themselves. They're genuinely kind people who are dedicated to the community, and it was heartwarming to learn that they both served in the US Military--Todd in the Navy and Gina in the Air Force. We're already looking forward to our next visit when we're in the area again. Don't forget to thank them for their service when you stop by!

The room was empty besides 5 or so senior ladies who had no wine anywhere to be seen, so we weren't sure what was going on. We walked back to the pizza counter and the man we walked by when we first came in was nowhere to be seen, but another man had just walked in. He asked if we had been helped and we said no, we were trying to go to the winery. He told us to just head over there and he'd be right there. We go back into the winery and he comes behind the counter and kinda just stares at us and then we ask if they do tastings and he said "yes" and just stares again. We had thought he would elaborate, but he did not, so we asked how the tastings work, how many do you get to taste, etc. He says "I don't know, like 3 or 4." He does not offer up any suggestions or tasting notes, no background on the winery, etc. We each picked 3 wines to try and then asked to buy a bottle. All of the wines were actually really good and we settled on the Catawba to sip while we read next to each other. After about 10 minutes, the senior ladies all leave and the man who helped us went to go sit in the dining area of the pizza side to watch tv. It was just a weird atmosphere and no one was very friendly. The longer we were there, the more staff we kept hearing and seeing on the pizza side, but there was never any customers coming in until around the time we finally left. Since I did enjoy the wines, I would be inclined to pick up some bottles if I ever came across them. However, I wouldn't come back into the winery for them.

The restaurant was only about 50% full, so it didn't seem overly busy. We were seated in the back and ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees within about five minutes. Our waitress was incredibly nice and attentive -- she was quick with our first two rounds of refills and had a great attitude the entire night. Unfortunately, the timing of the food really hurt the experience. Our appetizers didn't come out until about 45 minutes after ordering, and our entrees arrived an hour and a half after we were seated. By the time our dinners came out, we were the last table left in the restaurant. To make things more frustrating, the meals were brought out in two separate rounds about 10 minutes apart. When the second round finally came, we ended up asking for boxes and the check right away. The food itself was absolutely delicious, and our waitress did everything she could to take care of us. That's why we're giving 3 stars. But waiting an hour and a half for dinner -- especially when the restaurant wasn't very busy -- is just not acceptable. We'd consider giving it another try, but only if the kitchen timing improves.

We all got the cod dishes with the potatoes and green beans along with their salad and I think my mom had the soup. The only thing I would like if there were more gluten free options like if I wanted a sandwich, I could get one. Besides the cauliflower crust pizza and the cod, the options for gluten free are limited. Also the bread on the table, oh how I miss bread but if you're gluten free, there is no bread for you. I wasn't hungry after my meal but I was surprised they offered a gluten free dessert because a lot of places don't. The service was lovely as well. I am surprised we were placed in the front compared to the back but it seemed rather loud in the back room with the larger parties. They do have a lot of wine but we didn't try any and their prices seemed fair.
