The food was not up to the hype I've seen in the local paper and social media. Wife's shrimp and pasta was dry and tasteless. I had the Stallion pizza and it was adequate. My Caesars salad was ok at best. I tried two wines and I wasn't impressed. Let me note I am not a wine snob and for reference I make my own wine. I like to try different wines, and the wine I tried was not up to the wine I can get at other restaurants - domestic or imported. The Service was good and our waitress took care of our every need. Uh. Tried to get a hold of this place to book a reservation for three days. Phone number was not working, sent emails and messages through Yelp. Nothing. Today I look and there is a new phone number that now works (old number still on website), call and find out that there are new hours than what was listed. Called new number, no one answered. The restaurant style and dining area was very nice. It was clean, modern, quality, and very comfortable for a relaxed dinner. The staff were definitely friendly. The food was good, not great, but a little overpriced for some of what we ordered. The calamari/shrimp was good and priced right. The Caesar salad needed some help. The lettuce was not good and seemed like way too many croutons. Maybe a bad time for lettuce, idk. There does need to be some work on the service and some general attention to detail but I did appreciate the attentiveness. La Vigneta Winery's new location is such a vibe. Our intentions were purchase a couple bottles of wine; but stepped into their grand opening weekend. The owners Bob & Francesca set the tone from the moment we arrived. We sat at the bar for drinks and dinner. Everything and everyone were classy. Now they offer food, we will venture out to Sarver more often. My husband had the salmon dinner. I had perfectly cooked zucchini plank appetizers and wine. Their bar manager prepared our delicious beverages. They offered specialty cocktails, La Vigneta wine and Liberty bourbon. read more

The dinner was very pleasant, however, a few tweaks could be useful. The first challenge was finding an entree that was not in tomato sauce or spicy (as is our problem in many restaurants). There were ample options, but the next challenge was what we could afford. The salmon piccata fit the criteria and sounded delightful with lemon caper sauce, a barley-vegetable risotto-like starch, and grilled asparagus. My friend ordered the same so I can only review this dish. The salmon was just about perfect, very moist but the most innerpart was almost underdone. The barley was creative and delicious- but both the barley and salmon could use less salt in the sauce. Any more salt and I would have not eaten it. The asparagus delicious. The wait staff and the GM were friendly and attentive. The tiramisu was light and delicious. We are both in our late 60's and the acoustics don't absorb much sound. The dining room peaked about 50-60% full, and conversation was becoming a little difficult. Summary: lovely eveniing, and we will probably return when the new season's menu comes out. Need less salt in the lemon caper sauce to our liking. Few dishes meet the critieria of affordable price that are not tomato based (again that's our problem, but restaurants need even occasional patrons). Not great acoustically. read more

What a wonderful date night with friends. Food was delicious and well presented. We had the zucchini for an appetizer, and for our meals we had rigatoni with meatballs, pasta in pesto sauce with sun dried tomatoes and cherry tomatoes, and the Salmon in a creamy lemon sauce paired with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I recommend everything. Perfectly cooked and flavorful. The service was A+. Waitor was on top of everything, polite and knowledgeable. Love the new location with an inviting ambiance. FREEZING ... Only 2 space heaters for entire 20 tables . Food ok at best ...long wait for drinks we had to ask 2x ...coffee we received cold ...burgers med ordered ...xtra well done almost burnt ... we asked for a heater to b put closer and it was moved maybe 1/2 inch . Waiting long for food also . Manager came over did take off the burgers .. but excuses for alk the cold and long wait ... I got the fungi pizza and hubby got the hot honey ...they were ok could of let us know NO HEAT !! Before we made the drive . We did make reservations 4 days ahead . We went to the new location. La Vigneta Winery moved out of the garage into a suite in Sarver, PA. The idea is to build a winery on the property. In the meantime they have a better location to serve the wine at. When you walk in the place is bright and has a lot of going on for it inside. They have seatery inside. We sampled a couple of things then decided on glasses of wine that we wanted to try. The owner came out and thanked us for coming. She talked to us for a while. She is very nice. They have a positive approach in the wine industry. It's a new upcoming winery that is on their way. Wine is good. We will be back again. read more

I would rate my experience a zero if I could. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. My sister was in town so we took my mom along with some friends to celebrate her birthday. We waited an hour and a half past our reservation for a table (understandable on opening night) but the issues came after. We were not told that we couldn't split checks for a party of 7 until after our meal. The owner came out to tell us this and a few folks from the party did argue that we were not told this and did not have an easy way to split (I'm the first to get embarrassed in these situations but no one from the party was raising their voice, they were only expressing their opinions) the owner got in my mothers face, told her she was rude and yelled at her. I was shocked! I have never written a review, good or bad, but have never experienced such and awful experiences in my life. I was so hopeful for this place but left embarrassed and sad...mostly for my poor mom. It was a terrible experience! read more

Very friendly and efficient service with an abundance of samples. They let you sample up to 5 different wines as well as specialty oils, vinegars, and olive oils. We enjoyed some wine (after trying several) and the traditional flatbread (meats, cheese, balsamic, and honey). We ate inside the bright and nicely appointed tasting room as it was getting hot outside. However, there is a small covered area to sit outside.
