Pepperoni pizza & concord wine slushie
    Karyssa O.

VentiSei Winery is a must stop! I think the first and most important thing is the hospitality. My fiancé and I walked in and our conversation was "Hi, you guys been here before?" "Nope!" "Wanna try some free wine?" "Yep!" That was with Mike. He let us sample wines and their slushies. We sat outside and he came out to turn on the heater for us, and started the fire for another family there hanging out. He talked with us for a while and was just very welcoming and friendly! The food so so good! Denny, the owner, cooks the food fresh every day, and you can tell. The ingredients taste fresh and the basil is beautiful. They add touches to their food to personalize it to their winery and vision. The pizzas are definitely enough to share, and you leave feeling full without the bloated feeling. The dough is light and the crust is so soft and airy! The environment is very laid back and personable. They've remodeled the entire building and are constantly adding new things to the structure and menu. It's a great place to go hangout with friends or for a family dinner. They have a ton of different entertainment and really work to be a winery for the people they're serving. It's a great place for sure. I have my bridal shower scheduled here and I cannot wait! Because yes, they cater and it's beautiful how they lay out the food! It's not just pizza either, Denny offers to work with you on whatever you're thinking for the catering. Great place all around, highly recommend. Also, 10/10 don't recommend you volunteering to be the DD because you will be HIGHLY disappointed once you realize what their concord slushie tastes like! Gonna need a party bus for my shower!

Okay what a hidden gem! Smack dab in a random neighborhood in new castle you would never know it's here! I loved the outdoor area and the food was awesome! We tried the meatballs with homemade bread, three pizzas and the zucchini flower appetizer. The wine was okay / not the best I have had but I did enjoy the Cabernet! The food was excellent and the service was so so nice. Definitely will visit again

Visited here for the first time over the Thanksgiving holiday…read more Vineyards is a bit off the beaten path, about 15 miles south of Youngstown. The Tasting Restaurant can be found down a long drive through the vineyards, passed a round-a-about and perching above the Pine Lake. It definitely has a country club vibe to it. It's a little bit of a hike from the lot to the door, so you may find it necessary to drop off your party at the door. Our party was seated on the patio. It was heated, but there are many windows that give you a great view of the lake. It was a pretty chilly spot in late November, so bring a cardigan. Service was efficient and present, but not too bothersome. A couple in our party ordered flights so that we could try a nice selection of their wines. We enjoyed the Gold Medal and Fruit Lovers flights on this occasion. I have found that at many Ohio wineries you are best off trying sweeter wines, as getting those bold, dry grapes is harder than in other parts of the country. Though I enjoyed the Berry Patch and Midnight Vines, the Pinot Noir was also impressive. Additionally, I tried the Honey Mango Jalapeno Ale. It was too many things for my palette - not my jam. For dinner I found the special stuffed pepper soup to be a hit, while the French Onion was a miss. The broth was a bit too watery and could have benefitted from a beefier au jus. The Mushroom Ravioli was a fantastic choice, particularly if you are vegetarian. While the Figgy Flatbread was good, it was a bit one note. The bread was a little thicker than I would have expected and ultimately the dish fell a little flat. I would definitely try again, but it is a bit of an adventure to get that far out of town.

I first discovered this little charming cidery and winery from my partner who had tried the cider elsewhere. Returning from Erie, he found that we'd be passing Knocking Noggin so we swung by. We've made the trip three times now. We've only been disappointed once when my partner and I bought 4 growlers for a gathering we were having and none of them tasted good. Something happened where they were either mixed or went bad in a matter of two days. I reached out to management, and they quickly responded with apologies offering to provide us with complimentary refills. We brought our growlers back just as promised and they were refilled at no charge. Some of my favorite ciders have been the seasonal ones including Butter Beer, Pineapple, and Chocolate Strawberry. Pineapple is my top one hopefully coming back in the summertime. If you have the chance, visit this place during a town festival or even when nothing is happening to just have a wine slushy or glass of wine out on the patio. One of our last visits was during a Harry Potter Festival which was fun and interesting. Whatever you're doing, don't pass this place by, you won't be disappointed.

With four separate mini destinations, each with its own alcohol and food menu, The Property is has become one our family "must go" locations to get together. There was some off and on rain when we went but each location on The Property provided shelter until the clouds passed. Nothing stopped our little party and we had fun with the sprinkles. We also brought our fur baby Boo who was welcome at all buildings both indoors and outside with her leash. The staff was very friendly and kept us well served with food and delicious drinks. My favorites include Nova's blended sweet wine The Dragon, a Concord Red wine, and Skallywag Distilling's Limoncello. After roaming the various locations (shuttle is also provided if you desire) you can collect your own bottles of your favorites in the building at the exit. That way you aren't lugging your choices throughout the day.

When we arrived there was a big sign that said the winery was closed for a private party(Awwwww!). The only thing opened was the brewery. While they served wine it was a huge let down! Our group had beer, seltzer and wine and they were okay but not the best we've had. Ambience wasn't quite what we expected. The only positive was the live music. The singer did acoustic rock music and was very good! If you're going to check this place out it Sounds like the best days to go here is on Friday and Saturdays when everything is open. Maybe if I was a local I would come back for the live music but I certainly wouldn't drive an hour to come back here again.

We went with a beer flight to sample a variety of beers and two free wine pours (peach apricot Chardonnay and pomegranate). All the beers and wines were great. Our favorites in the beer flight were the peanut butter porter and Apple Mine Drainage. I ended up buying some bottles of wine to take home. As I purchased these, the staff went above and beyond offering to carry the box to the car for us, even though that wasn't necessary. I look forward to returning the next time I'm in the area to try some of their other seasonal beers. They also have a nice porch and patio outdoor seating area for the spring and summer months. My mom wants to check out the greenhouse too. My only complaint (and it's a small one) was that I was unable to purchase a bottle of the pomegranate wine. It was awesome, and I was hoping to buy a bottle of it as a gift for a friend.

They have a little gift shop area where they sell their wines, there's a small area where they sell baked goods as well. We had such a good experience the first time, we had to come back again when we were nearby. My wife prefers dry wines, I prefer sweet wines, but I'm open to all types. We both found several things we like here and were pretty surprised at the quality of the wine. We did a flight each time we went and bought bottles to go when we left both times. We don't always buy bottles unless it's something we both can enjoy together. The place had a lot of character. Someone put a lot of thought and work into the decor, design, and atmosphere of the place. It was artistic and comfortable. I always appreciate that. We chose to sit at the bar both times, but enjoyed looking around at the walls and taking a trip up the stairs for a nice overhead view of the first floor. The service was great and really is the selling point for returning. It's the number one reason that we'll go back again when we're in town. The wine tasted great, the atmosphere was nice, but it's the service that puts this place over the top. Hopefully we will always have this experience, but I do believe we had the same couple serving us both times. I'd obviously highly recommend anyone who enjoys drinking wine, going to wineries, or trying out new places.
