Pepperoni pizza & concord wine slushie
    Karyssa O.

VentiSei Winery is a must stop! I think the first and most important thing is the hospitality. My fiancé and I walked in and our conversation was "Hi, you guys been here before?" "Nope!" "Wanna try some free wine?" "Yep!" That was with Mike. He let us sample wines and their slushies. We sat outside and he came out to turn on the heater for us, and started the fire for another family there hanging out. He talked with us for a while and was just very welcoming and friendly! The food so so good! Denny, the owner, cooks the food fresh every day, and you can tell. The ingredients taste fresh and the basil is beautiful. They add touches to their food to personalize it to their winery and vision. The pizzas are definitely enough to share, and you leave feeling full without the bloated feeling. The dough is light and the crust is so soft and airy! The environment is very laid back and personable. They've remodeled the entire building and are constantly adding new things to the structure and menu. It's a great place to go hangout with friends or for a family dinner. They have a ton of different entertainment and really work to be a winery for the people they're serving. It's a great place for sure. I have my bridal shower scheduled here and I cannot wait! Because yes, they cater and it's beautiful how they lay out the food! It's not just pizza either, Denny offers to work with you on whatever you're thinking for the catering. Great place all around, highly recommend. Also, 10/10 don't recommend you volunteering to be the DD because you will be HIGHLY disappointed once you realize what their concord slushie tastes like! Gonna need a party bus for my shower!

Okay what a hidden gem! Smack dab in a random neighborhood in new castle you would never know it's here! I loved the outdoor area and the food was awesome! We tried the meatballs with homemade bread, three pizzas and the zucchini flower appetizer. The wine was okay / not the best I have had but I did enjoy the Cabernet! The food was excellent and the service was so so nice. Definitely will visit again

Or overcooked hard and cracker-like. Ali's crust has a great chewy lift to it. Under the sauce and toppings, the crust holds up. Biting into a slice has just the right feel, and taste as well. A flat thin crust doesn't have a flavor. It doesn't have the air in it that lets the flavor get out to you. The flavor of Ali's pizza crust is just about perfect. Like a great French or Italian crusty loaf. And no baking soda! This dough was yeast raised, like real pizza dough should be made. The sauce on this pie is also just about perfect. I hate a flat tasting sauce. Or a sauce that is too sweet or too tangy. Sauce on this pizza was just right, in taste and amount. Had a beautifully seasoned flavor which was not heavy on anything. It was center of target bullseye. Impossible to describe except to say, I liked it. A lot. Toppings... well, I had cheese and pepperoni. The cheese? It had a flavor! There was plenty of cheese too, when you get it home, hot, and pull a slice and there is enough hot gooey melty cheese to roll off the edge of the slice, and that's plenty of cheese. And it had mozzarella flavor. Not some generic cheese like a Bob's House'O'Cheese! This cheese tasted fantastic! The pepperoni was sliced thin, and covered the pie. Just the right amount for a perfect flavor and texture. First time order, after living here for nearly two years, figures. On the other hand, if I had come to Ali's for pizza first, I would have hated myself for not just getting Ali's every time. Getting Ali's after getting every.other.pie makes me feel like I had to work through all the mediocre pizza before I had finally earned the right to appreciate how good Ali's pizza is. The only extra instructions I gave when ordering was to brown the cheese that comes up over the roll of the crust. So, now that I've found pizza I like in New Castle, all I have left is changing around the toppings and whether I want the pepperoni brown on the edges, or the crust dark, or very dark. FINALLY I can stop driving to Youngstown to get Cornersburg, Belleria, Coca's or Uptown. Which if you like those, this is just as great!

It is, without a doubt, my new favorite pizza spot! Between being perfectly cooked at a high heat in the wood fired oven, the homemade dough and sauce, and the super fresh and quality toppings, this pizza outshines the other local places ten-fold. My experience with the service was also really great! I used the online ordering system which was easy and convenient. It gave an estimated time for pickup and confirmation text message. I arrived about 5-10 minutes early and was pleasantly surprised that I received a text saying my order was already ready. The owners/staff are also so friendly and I was in and out in a Jif. The newly renovated shop is super clean and nice with very Italian vibes and also has what appears to be imported Italian goods for sale (I didn't stay long enough to check it out but will next time). We really LOVED the pizza! The sweet and spicy pepperoni was soo good! We also got a plain cheese for our pickier kiddos and are really excited to try some of the other flavor options next time. Definitely add Vitalia to your go-to takeout spots to try especially for a busy weeknight dinner or to enjoy on the weekend. It might also be important to note it is a small shop and appears to be meant just for takeout and not a dine-in spot. Hope you try and enjoy as much I did!

If you're local to the area, the pizza in reference is Augustine's Pizza. It's a small restaurant in a small town with BIG flavor! We ordered a large Pepperoni with extra Cheese and Chubby Bites. The Chubby Bites are a Local Sausage (Joseph's) and deep fried. These were wonderful!!! The batter/breading was phenomenal. The Pizza came out shortly after and didn't disappoint. It came with sliced cheese instead of shredded. We truly loved the sliced cheese over shredded. I was impressed with the classic stringy cheese as we tried to cut it and it stretched from the pan all the way to our plates. The sauce definitely reminded us Augustine's Pizza. The crust was light and crispy with very subtle sweetness. The staff was amazing and very friendly. This was our first time here and the manager made us feel like he had known us a long time. They have a large enough menu that we will definitely be back to try the next items.

Follow them on Facebook so you know where they will be setting up next! I was lucky enough to have them show up near where I work and decided to give them a try. I had the buffalo chicken pizza and it was beyond amazing. It's fun to watch them make it from start to finish before putting it into "Bella", their mobile wood-fired oven. The staff are nice and happy to answer any questions about the menu. Prices are quite fair for what you get, with pizzas at $10 (and each one is enough for a big lunch for one or a reasonable-size lunch for two), breadsticks with marinara at $8, and cannolis for $3. With food trucks, communication with potential customers is essential, and they do a spectacular job of keeping in touch via social media about where they will be and when they sell out so you aren't left hanging. This is an underappreciated quality, so I want to make sure I am recognizing them for their skill in this where many other mobile vendors fall short. If they are close to you, you absolutely must try them, no excuse not to! Overall: 5.0 stars ----- Pros: - Amazing pizzas, and very cool unique options for them! - Great value for your money. - Good service. - EXCELLENT communication via social media. Cons: - None, really. I wish they came to Wheeling more, though I totally get that they have to go where they know they are most likely to sell out. Good for them for their success!
