After visiting Living Treasures our party of five searched for a place to eat and came across Mr Pizza. The large pizza was quite good and I am still amazed by how inexpensive the bill was. Very well know spot around town and have excellent deals! On Monday's they have $5 - 8 cuts which is awesome. Recently I had their tuna fish sub and it was really good and only like $4.50. Their Italian subs are really good too. Sometimes if you order a pizza though in transfer if it slides it bunches up on one side. Make sure it's level. Everyone there always seems really friendly. And if you decide to sit inside it's really original and a nice little spot along a main road to have lunch. read more

Honestly. This is the worst pizza in town. They let it set out all day and heat the slices when ordered. No sauce taste, it was very dry and crust was like cardboard. Now I haven't had any of their other menu items so cannot comment on that. Back in the 90's their pizza was really good. This place needs better management. read more

While their crust is amazing but they have screwed up my order the last three times. This last time they screwed it up twice. First had the wrong toppings and was barely baked and the replacement was raw in the center. We called to talk to a manager and we could hear someone in the kitchen "what's wrong with that one?" when they found out they were talking to us again. They did offer a refund for the pizza the screwed up twice but I didn't feel like waiting for them to come back again to pick it up. I ordered my sandwich extra crispy, it was delivered burnt-out the point the bread was black. I called and talked to the manager on 5/18/2024 around 11pm. The MANAGER told me that I ordered is extra crispy and that was a fine line between crispy and burnt. The manager was so arrogant, rude and dismissive that I just said...I guess I will not order again. Unbelievably rude, bad food and terrible service. the handmade pizza is one of my family's favorites. our 20 y/o daughter has been a very selective eater since birth, so her range of pizza references is very broad. she will choose mr. pizza first from a list of the many pizza places located in new castle. we are fairly equal in the amount of times that we eat in or have it delivered. we really do not have a preference as the service and environment is friendly & clean to eat in and the timing of delivery is very fast. the portion sizes are generous and the variety of menu options covers just about all areas generally associated with a 'pizza place'. the pizza slices are larger than most other places, but not overwhelming. the variety of soups offered throughout the week will cover just about anyone's taste (i order one of the soups every time). read more

Brought my pizza out to me, was happy that it was 10 minutes less than what they said, only to find out that they had literally taken it out of the oven, threw it in a box, and walked it out to me. This isn't a good thing when you place the pizza in the passenger seat and realize all of the toppings are sliding off of the pizza and pool in the corners of the box. read more

the pizza and experience was laughably bad. we ordered a large cheese pizza w/ half pepperoni, they told us it would be 30 minutes before it's ready. we arrived 31 minutes later, and then waited 30 more minutes in the parking lot just to receive an abomination of a pizza. the pizza was not even sliced fully, it was shaped like an oval, soggy and soaking wet, essentially a huge clump of cheese, undercooked, the pizza could not have been tossed, toppings (sauce included) slid off immediately. "New York Style Pizza" more like "New Employees Made This Pizza Style" Mr. Pizza used to never miss, what happened to this place hahahaha read more

Mr. Pizza is the bee's knees, The Wednesday special of Meat Ball Hoagie and drink for 3.35 is possibly the best deal in New Castle. The pizza isn't going to make you a believer in God but it's still really good and for the price you almost feel like you should pay more. Downside is the cups they give you to drink are small and you have to constantly go back up to the counter if you want more pop and if you're like old Chappy you can knock down several medium size cups of Diet Pepsi. I promise, this review is worth the read and a warning to everyone. First of all, if there was a rating less than 1 star, they would get it!!! Recently, I had a Sandwich, no. 11 on their menu board (a takeout order). Now, I'd had this sandwich before as an eat-in item and it actually was one of the best sandwiches of its type I'd ever had. I know every ingredient on it and it features 3 different meats. When I got the sandwich home (takeout order), the only thing on it was one (1) meat and LOADS of lettuce. What's that about!!!!!! That was a RIPOFF because I know what was supposed to be on it. There have been times at some other Establishments, that you similarly get LESS food for a takeout order than you do when eating inside. THIS IS WRONG and I am SO irritated you can't believe it. I'd rather the person making the sandwich just tell me they're out of certain ingredients at that time and at least give me the chance to select another item, rather than making this "lesser version" of that sandwich and stuffing it in the bag for me to take. Really good pizza, and the drive-through pick up window makes picking up your order really convenient. It's New York style pizza, and they have specials every day posted on the marquis out front. They have an awesome special on Mondays, I think it's half off medium pizzas when you get them for carryout. The people who work there are pretty friendly. It is a casual pizza joint in town so don't be super offended if the guy working the pickup window chit chats with his buddy in the car ahead of you for what seems like forever while you patiently wait your turn, or if that same guy then spits out the window just before you pull your car up. If you can look past that kind of stuff and not expect anything fancy you might be really happy with the quality and price of the pizza. They get the fourth star for offering my dog some sliced turkey when I brought him with me in the drive-through once. I love places where people are cool to dogs. I haven't been there since i became vegan, but if they ever get vegan cheese I will totally go again. read more

We have ordered from Mr Pizza several times since our first experience here, two or three times being delivery. Our most recent call to Mr Pizza, they advised my husband that they don't deliver north of McDonalds in Neshannock. Unfortunately my husband did not challenge this statement considering they have delivered to our house before (which conveniently can be the next street AFTER McDonalds depending on which road you use to access our neighborhood). Mr Pizza is a clean, well maintained restaurant. It looks like some past chain restaurant that's been converted. There are no tables, just booths. The tomato pie is pretty good, but really sweet. Their regular, plain cheese, slice was quite good. The crust had a good crunch and nice chew. One really surprising thing was the size of the soft drinks. We where two families who arrived New Castle late after driving from Niagara and we found Mr Pizza coincidentally. We were met with a welcoming smile and a very helpful staff. They gave us advice on sizes and were able to meet our special requests. The pizzas where fantastic. Both the thin crust and the thick crust tasted absolutely fantastic. The choices of toppings are very well combined, not to many. You pick what you want from a menu. Real cheese perfectly prepared.
