The indoor eating area was closed so that upset us as a bad first impression, however we were there to order and pickup to go. You're probably wondering why the 5 stars however. The quality of the pizzas are amazing, and it's worth the added price for the quality you're getting. We had a rather large order and it took about 50 minutes to make from scratch to box. We ordered the following pizzas: Spinach Ricotta Calzone style - 5/5 Veggies & Ranch Chicago style - 5/5 BBQ chicken with onions - 5/5 Ham, Pineapple, & roasted peppers NY style - 5/5 Sausage and pepperoni - 4/5 Compare the quality to Scotto's or Giovanni's. I would say the pizza is less greasy than Giovanni's but there are slightly less toppings and the flavor is the same as their two competitors. The slight price increase appears due to be due to the quality and care that the pizzas are put together. read more

One of my favorite places for thin pizza! Perfect! Always a friendly environment.

Great little pizza place. Although we've tried several of their thick style pizza slices they have an awesome Brier Hill Pizza. We always try to stop here when visiting the area. read more

Meat Lovers Stuffed Pizza was amazing and huge and everyone loved it. Very happy with it.

Great wedding soup and pizza is a work of art with top notch fresh ingredients. By the slice or order a whole pie.

I love the pizza here, especially the bruschetta pizza. I've never had a bad meal here. Great family owned, ran and worked business. I read other comments, saying "it's not NYC pizza", that is correct but it's very good in it's own right. If you want NYC pizza go to NYC like I do. I live 20 miles away in Ohio. There are three things that bring me to the Hermitage / Sharon area besides granddaughter. - Aldos Pizza - Mobogo Pho soup - In-Style nails for Pedicures. Well worth the trip. Be advised they close yearly for a few weeks in late summer while the family goes back to Italy on vacation. You have to respect a family owned and ran small business. read more

Very good pizza and friendly staff! I would recommend the veggie, buffalo and bruschetta pizzas.

Aldo's has the best pizza. I have been coming here for years, and going other places... but I have decided nothing compares. Their veggie pizza is just so amazing. Others try but they fail. Also, their thin crust pepperoni is the best; its cooked perfectly and everything stays on the slice and its not too flimsy, the bottom is somehow still perfectly crispy. And its just so consistent... every time I get Aldo's it tastes INCREDIBLE. read more

Calzone and Cavatelli were great. We would come back for sure! Staff was also friendly. read more

I took my nephew here and we tried the calzone, pepperoni roll, and pepperoni pizza. Everything was really good. It was all very cheesy and we were both happy with our choice. read more

AMAZING spot for pizza. And here's a little secret about this place you might not know, THE FRIES HERE ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD! Be sure to stop in on a Wednesday and you might catch the most handsome pizza guy in the valley! I think his name is Pat. He was very helpful and friendly and again ladies - EASY ON THE EYES. 100 percent will eat here every week! read more

This is the Top Pizza Place in the Area! Aldo's offers the best quality, and most unique specialty pizzas in the area. Much, much better than the typical chain pizza options. read more

I am hard to please, I would give the Vatican 1 star, but this place I like. Clean, good food, reasonable prices. Get your food here! read more

The supreme pizza was great. The bruschetta appetizer not so much. Would return a the pizza was really good!

This place is fantastic, you walk in and the first thing you smell is their amazing pizza. They have the best pizza in the area. They also have a lot of other things to eat and one of my favorites is their philly steak sandwhich, it's probably the best steak sandwhich I have had in a long long time. You won't be sorry when you eat here!! Really decent prices too. read more

Have gone to Aldo's numerous times and their Stuffed Jumbo Seashells are the best I have ever had. I was raised by an Italian immigrant who taught me how to make authentic Italian food and Aldo's is the Real Deal! Their sauce is the BEST! The mixtures of cheeses and seasonings inside the 3 Jumbo Stuffed Seashells is Excellent. You get real Italian bread and a decent salad too. Calzones have all the quality ingredients but when asked baker why they are always almost black on the bottom he said, "they have to be cooked that way to get the insides cooked.) O might suggest they use thick pizza dough instead of thinner bread type dough to standup hardier and cook at a lower heat maybe. The baker was old-school and a little indignant when asked for one not so dark on bottom. Overall, I will definitely come back over and over! Their pizza is Out of This World!!!!! read more

Yum! We lived everything we tried. The pizza options were amazing. We tried broccoli pizza. It was great. My calzone was huge. We even purchased dessert for the road. If I ever make it back to the area, I'll be stopping by again for another unique pizza combination. The salad was also fantastic. read more

Aldo's offers something for everyone! If you are looking for authentic Italian pizza, pasta and pastries - then look no further. Made with wholesome ingredients their pizzas are available in both thick and thin crust. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere and the staff (mostly all family) are all nice and ready to help. I've been going there for years and I have never had a bad experience. Definitely need to check out Aldo's if you're in the mood for hand-crafted pizza!! Mangiare!! read more

Small place. You can sit down or take out. They have tons of slices - square, regular, buffalo chicken, veggie, chicken bacon ranch, etc. I haven't had a bad slice. Was told that they have the best steak sandwiches so I gave it a try and wasn't blown away but it wasn't bad. read more

Pizza was decent. It was relatively greasy and made my stomach ache would not recommend

We thought we would try this place bc of yelp reviews but we were terribly disappointed . Maybe their pizza is what they were reviewing. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs and I had chicken parmigiana. The red sauce on both was bitter and tasted old. Meatballs tasted like frozen store bought and chicken patty's breading was soggy. I won't be eating there again. I hate to give bad reviews but this place just didn't impress me read more

Best New York style pizza I've had in years! Thin crust, great chew. Aldo and his family are the real deal. Super tasty homemade wedding soup. Can't wait to eat here again! read more

No disrespect to the owners or those that like Aldo's, but the food isn't that good. FIRST.... this place does NOT have NY pizza!!! Anyone who says it's NY Pizza isn't from NY. And when I say NY, I mean the city... not Buffalo. From a NY standpoint, NY Pizza is NYC area pizza. I'm a born and raised New Yorker, trust me on this one. read more

I had the Italian sub, fries, and took home cannoli. It was amazing. Love this place, it's a gem.

Really great place. I wish more places in the area had the same standards as they do. Great food, great service. I've only had the subs, soup and pizza off of the menu, but everything has always been really good. They serve slices and that is really big plus for the area. Very few if any places like that in town. The place is always clean and the staff is always friendly. They do close for about a month or so in the summer time... I dont like that..good for them...bad for me..ha...I look forward to when they come back and re-open every year!! read more

Just ordered the meat lovers stuffed pizza. It's on point. Full of lamb, pepperoni, ham and cheese. Plus other meats. I will be back for this soon. read more

The extra thick pizza here is amazing. I am sadly now gluten intolerant, so I will miss Aldo's, but they are so worth it!

My family of 5 were looking for a place to eat and came upon this small restaurant. We had 3 different kinds of pizza and a calzone. Everything was delicious. If you like cannoli you owe it to yourself to get one. It was one of the best I've ever had. read more

I have had better if made fresh its delicious but chances are your getting the old pizza they throw in the oven for you.

Best subs in town - hands down. And their pizza? Excellent as well. Always friendly service and food is great too. You can't go wrong

Great food and great people! The pizza, italian sub and cannoli's are among my favorites. Forget pizza hut and go to Aldo's. Best in the shenango valley for sure read more

The best pizza anywhere! Extra thick or thin with everything you want on it. A family owned and run restaurant that makes you feel like part of the family every time you come in. The cappuccino chunk cookies and chocolate covered cannoli are two great ways to end the meal.
