When in Youngstown, order the pizza…read more Belleria is one of many great pizza joints in the area. On my most recent visit I ordered a couple pizzas here to share with my family. It was excellent. Better than anything they have elsewhere in Ohio. Absolutely would order again, especially on a Sunday when some of their competitors are closed. Some tips for this location: 1. On Sundays they don't open until 1PM. Expect an opening rush and possibly a busy signal on the phone. Just call back if you hear this. 2. Call ahead and pick up through the drive through - they've got this process down, they are fast, but don't be surprised if the line of cars has wrapped around the building. 3. Bring cash. They charge extra for credit cards (this was legalized in a 2017 Supreme Court decision in case you were wondering, like I was). Most importantly, enjoy the pizza!

Stopped in on a Sunday evening to try a few different pies. As I'm getting older, perhaps my tastes…read moreand preferences are changing, so I'll share my experience and anyone reading this can take it for what it is. I did not order ahead, I placed my order in store to get the hottest possible pizza, and I ended up ordering 3 small pies to try some different slices. I ordered two small cheese pizzas, one with mozzarella cheese and the other with Romano cheese, and the third pizza was a deluxe. To begin, I really enjoyed the Romano cheese pizza. The Romano cheese has a sharp flavor, but it doesn't over power the sauce in anyway. The sauce was sweet, tangy, and really shined with the Romano. Most important, it wasn't greasy. The mozzarella cheese pizza was good, but the thicker cheese reduced the sauce flavor a bit, still good, and with all of the pies, the crust is a very light and airy crust which is pleasant to eat. Lastly, for the deluxe, I could have done without that. It was greasy, heavy, but my biggest issue, you can tell some of the toppings came right from a can. Overall, 3.5/5 for me at this pizzeria. I'd come back again, however, I'd stick with the cheese Romano pizza.

We ordered two pizza's both large, one with cheese and one with cheese & pepperoni. The Pizza's were amazing. The people are very friendly & it seems to be a very popular place with the locals. I have to give a shoutout to their staff for their handling & caring of a older lady who came into Uptown Pizza lost & upset. She could have been anyone's Grandma. It was dark out & I felt so bad for her & wanted to help her but I don't know the area well enough to give her any type of direction. The staff at Uptown Pizza sprung into action to help her. Since it was so late & dark they opted to call the Boardman Police to escort her to her destination. That is what you do to foster a good community by being the reason the community is good. They had a little nicer dinning in other rooms. Our server was very nice and checked on us several times. The plates are primarily shareable plates and they come out when they are ready chick means they may not all come out together. Also, good for us. We ordered the meatballs, the breaded chicken, and some focaccia bread. The bread was excellent but would have been a little better if served with a red sauce instead of the olive oil. The chicken was a little on the oily side but crispy and still good. The chicken did come with a small arugula salad which was very tasty. The superstar from our order were the meatballs. They come in an order of 3. They were very soft and tasty. The sauce on them was superb. If you are looking to find out what to order, I definitely would not pass up on the meatballs. Yum!
