austintown, First time ordering here. The sauce is garbage and worse of all the pizza was burnt when I got home. Waste of my time and gas to bring it back.....Should have just went to wedgewood pizza across the street, instead of trying something new.... The empty parking lot should have beed the first clue..... read more

We are new to Boardman but Uptown Pizza has quickly grown to the top of my list as our new favorite pizza place. We ordered two pizza's both large, one with cheese and one with cheese & pepperoni. The Pizza's were amazing. The people are very friendly & it seems to be a very popular place with the locals. I have to give a shoutout to their staff for their handling & caring of a older lady who came into Uptown Pizza lost & upset. She could have been anyone's Grandma. It was dark out & I felt so bad for her & wanted to help her but I don't know the area well enough to give her any type of direction. The staff at Uptown Pizza sprung into action to help her. Since it was so late & dark they opted to call the Boardman Police to escort her to her destination. That is what you do to foster a good community by being the reason the community is good. Kudos to you Uptown Pizza!!! God bless you guys!!! The Harper's will be ordering our Pizza's from you from now on. Happy Easter!!! read more

This place is known for several things. Great staff, clean establishment and Amazing Pizza, Subs and believe it.....Wedding Soup. The pizza is cheesy and the sauce really flavorful. They also have very fresh and yummy salads. I have had the individual pizza and also ordered a pie. They do NOT skimp on ingredients. I would never have imagined such great wedding soup at a local pizza shop. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. There are several Sandwich options and plenty of pizza toppings. They have dinner options. Rigatoni was wonderful . Uptown Pizza a local family owned establishment. They do a crazy takeout business so remember order ahead for your at home needs. read more

Very popular Italian restaurant that has been around for ages. They are well known for their delicious pizza, with it's golden crust and flavorful sauce. They also have great sandwiches and dinners. Their spaghetti and meatballs is very popular, but my favorite is their Chicken Parmesan. Two large pieces of real chicken breast (not fried patties like you get elsewhere). It comes with a generous serving of their spaghetti, and a side salad. The salad includes chick peas, two beet slices and a pepperoncini, plus your choice of dressing. It also comes with garlic bread. Great meal! Uptown Pizza is also known for their small personal pizza named The Little Joe. Outstanding sauce, crust and cheese. You have the option to enhance your pizza with several different toppings. They're all good! read more

What a great place to grab a pizza. Upon searching for a place to get pizza, this showed up. I'm a pizza junkie and am always looking for a great pizza. The location was easy to find. Restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. The young lady at the counter greeted us and then was our waitress. She gave great suggestions. We chose the pizza with everything but the 'fish'. The crust was DELICIOUS and comparable to a pan pizza, minus the grease. TONS of toppings and the sauce was good. We also ordered a 'steak' hoagie. This was truly old school. Not shaved beef, but more like an oblong hamburger. It was good, but probably wouldn't order again. Only negative to food: canned mushrooms. Fresh definitely make a big difference! Look forward to our next visit!!!! read more

Wonderful pizza! I got an "Old World (Briar Hill) with extra peppers and olives. It was great. The crust had that nice crunchy exterior but was soft in the middle. The toppings were overflowing. Will get it again read more

EXCELLENT PIZZA!!! Both locations have phenomenal food. Uptown is by far the best Youngstown Pizza! Sauce and dough. That's what I'm talkin' bout!!!! 5***** read more

Updated--- I hate to change my five star review, however the quality has declined during my last few visits. The pizza crusts have been super thin and the toppings are scarce, including the cheese. I've also ordered my pizza well done and the last two times, my request was not honored upon pickup. The uptown I've been eating for years is known for their thick cheese, from crust to crust. Also, the staff is changing. I don't hardly recognize any of them now. Sad. Love this Pizza. In my opinion it's among the best pizza in Youngstown, and that's saying something! Always hot and tastes read more

This is easily the Best pizza in the area. The salads are BIG and full and fantastic! The sandwiches are great. I have been eating here for years and loving everything I have eaten. Please don't change the menu! Lisa is the best from the Boardman store!! Karen and Chris read more

To much cheese ... I guess if u like a lot of cheese (which is a good cheese not a cheap cheese) Sauce is kinda ehhh esp for the pizza game in Youngstown. Love the dough it's just right! Decent pizza. I just get mine light cheese and it's better. read more

For non-NY pizza which is the standard, this little gem in the Valley is the bomb! A very unique pizza that I guarantee you've never had anything like before. They use provolone instead of mozzarella, the sauce is awesome and the crust is nice and crispy. Huge wings that are like a mini bucket of KFC but better! This place is awesome! read more

TOP TIER WORLDWIDE ... flew all the way from Longbeach California to get 4 pies ... a simple pepperoni or sausage cooked well done will explain everything about greatness read more

The pizza was Amazing! great service at both locations. One of my favorite pizzas in town I can't wait to get it again!

The pizza has gone to shot with new owners. Ordered it today it was the worse ever, undercooked and to much cheese. And what did you do with the sauce. Just terrible, will think about going back. read more

Great service and excellent food, one of my favorite restaurants. If you haven't tried them then you're missing out!

Pizza was very good, salads were excellent. Lisa was our server and was a very hard working lady!

Best za in the area! Always the go to choice for me when I order pizza! Service is always great as well!

Treated myself to a Little Joe (6 inch) sausage, pepper and onion today. This is the BEST pizza in town. Lived in Florida for a short time and couldn't wait to move back and have this pizza again. They are now open on Sundays!! read more

Had lunch here today. Got there "LARGE" pepperoni roll. The biggest and best I have ever eaten. Was to large to finish. Loaded with BOTH Pepperoni and Cheese! Had some spices on top and comes with a generous cup of hot dipping sauce. I took a picture of approximately the last 1/3 of the roll. Service was very good! They were extremely busy which is a good sign! A lot of take out service. Enjoy!! read more

Bought a small pepperoni roll and small pizza with the works. This place was sooooo busy with take out customers coming in and out NON Stop! It took awhile for our take out order to be ready AND, we got the wrong pizza but even with the wrong toppings it was delicious! We were also given a chef salad by mistake and it was possibly the best salad I've ever eaten! I now know why it was a steady stream of pick up orders! read more

I've had this pizza several times, my boss likes to order it at work when he gets lunch for the employees. It's one of the better pizza shops in the Youngstown area because of the crust, which I prefer because it is on the thicker side. They have their specialty pizzas, but I think it's more of a one-topping style than anything; that way it doesn't overwhelm the taste of the crust-sauce-cheese combo that really makes it. It's definitely the kind of pizza that you'd want to wash down with a cold beer afterward. I've also had their wings, which are breaded and come with dipping sauce on the side. They aren't terrible, but not what I look for in a chicken wing. The pepperoni rolls are excellent though, and this is coming from someone who worked four years at Ohio's premier stuffed breadstick outlet (Campus Pollyeyes). It's a pizza place that I'd recommend for the pizza products rather than the alternative choices on the menu. read more

Updated: called to order a pizza around 4:30 on a Saturday and was told 30 minutes to pick it. Asked for a supreme pizza and then was asked: 'what toppings would you like' as if supreme pizza was an unknown type of pizza. Pizza was delicious except it was just as greasy/messy as an order of chicken wings. I'll order again at some point but only because it is so close. Sauce on the pizza is sweet and delicious unlike most other pizzas in the area. Good tasting food but often too busy to order if your crunched for time. Not my first or second choice but definitely tasty Tried calling to order some pizzas on a Friday night and got no answer. We went With Cocca's pizza instead. I'll update my review if I ever can order here. read more

We haven't eaten here in awhile and we were very happy, this place is great. Our pizzas were fresh and they always put a great amount of toppings on the pizza. read more

The pizza is really good. I think it's best while it's hot. Always gotta get the Cajun salad as well!

I had your pizza for the first time tonight. Had half with mushrooms and half with yellow peppers. This pizza is the best I've had. Only sorry we never had it before since we live in New Middletown. My neice treated us with it. She eats there regularly. We will definetly be back. read more

Love the pizza, popcorn chicken, sausage sandwich, wedding soup and oh my the onion rings! This place reminds me of a NY style Italian deli. Phones ringing...people yelling for someone in the back...smells so good...and everything tastes amazing. There's a reason why you wait hours for a pizza on game night. Cuz it's so goooood! read more

It always takes forever, Customer service sucks, employees are gross, restaurant itself isn't really clean. But the pizza is FANTASTIC! Probably best in youngstown read more

I moved to Nevada four years ago, and I can still taste the pizza and the delicious sub sandwiches from Uptown! I wish they had long distance delivery, because I'd be their best customer! I especially crave their Italian dressing--I can't find anything even remotely close to it here--and I miss it SO MUCH! The people who run both locations have been nothing but sincerely nice people and I miss them too. Going there was kind of like going to Cheers--everybody knew your name! I can't say enough about Uptown, except that I wish I was back there right now! Jen Hanuschak Las Vegas, NV read more

Yes sir! Great pizza and well worth every penny. Try the greens pizza and then everything else. Locally owned and great prices.

I am a die-hard Cornersburg Pizza lover. My husband has recently turned me on to uptown and I must say it's pretty impressive. A very close second to my beloved Cornersburg. If I hadn't been raised on CP my whole life, Uptown would probably be my #1. I order the plain cheese pizza w extra sauce. Their sauce is amazing and the crust is perfectly crispy and golden. It's pretty delicious, try it, you won't be let down. read more
