Don't get into the weeds about a 4 versus 5 star review, and please read the entire review. First, this is my go to place after trying it for the first time 8.16.26. This is for certain, New York (Eastern Pa. Northern N.J.) style pizza, which is refreshing after enduring the Pizza in my part of Ohio. I grew up in NE Pa. and when it comes to Pizza, Cheese Steaks, and overall Italian cuisine, I'm very critical and have transported hundreds of doughballs back to Ohio, so I could enjoy real pizza. I was thoroughly pleased to take the first bite, and subsequently, the next 3 slices, of a pizza that had a good hydration, great undercarriage, and a solid ratio of cheese to sauce. I drove 35 minutes to try it, and I was not disappointed at all. If you're like me, and didn't grow up in Ohio eating what they refer to as pizza, you should absolutely give it a try. Service was fantastic, and the woman that took my order, and checked me out, was very personable, and obviously part of the family that runs the business. Getting in the weeds a bit, understanding that I'm a snob, LOL, The dough had the correct structure, but IMHO, could be cold fermented for a longer period of time to develop much more flavor. Other than that, sauce and cheese is completely subjective, depending on what you like. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu, and appreciate the effort and the food. Very expensive, which ok, the pizza is decently tasty, but the staff is just SO rude. The woman seemed completely annoyed that I even walked in the door. She didn't smile, didn't say anything except "your name??" I told her my name, she got my box, shoved it across the counter, and turned and walked away. I was the only customer there, wasn't like they were swamped and rushed. This wasn't the first experience like this here, but we won't go back. $35 for a large pepperoni, a meh atmosphere, and bad customer service? Pass. read more

We ended up here to have dinner because one of my coworkers suggested it and oh boy we were not disappointed at all! We stopped by the Bella Napoli Pizza and Pasta in Canfield for lunch. The service was outstanding! It was friendly and engaging. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It came with rolls and salad. Everything was very good. The portion sizes were big. We loved the salad dressing. The spaghetti and meatballs were awesome. The only thing I regret is not taking photos of this delicous lunch. Very disappointed to say the least. Highly rated, but not open until 9:00 as stated online. Hours on the door now state 2:00 PM - 8:30 PM. The lights were out, the door was locked and not a sole on sight @ 8:04 when I pulled in. Top rated pizza establishments in the area that can stay open for 6 1/2 hours a day. This is just an average pizza place. Service was great, large menu with nice lunch menu. Serve canned mushrooms on the pizza, which is a no for me. I love to use Yelp to find the top rated places for certain foods. Youngstown has a ton of pizza places so I was looking for the best. Bella Napoli came up as 4 1/2 stars with quite a few reviews. (There were 5 star places, but they only had less than 10 reviews). I ordered a pepperoni pizza with banana peppers in the New York style crust. The cheese, pepperoni, sauce and banana peppers were great quality, but the crust was really dense and difficult to bite through. Once I finally tore off a bite, all the topping came with it. So, for the pizza, it was just okay 3 of 5. The people working inside were great, friendly and quick. I'd give them 5 out of 5! read more

To start this review, I would like to explain that I come from a family of pizza connoisseurs. These people LOVE pizza.. I LOVE pizza. I have had pizza from all over the place and it's hard for me to say, "This is the best pizza I've ever had," but this... in fact, just might be the best pizza I've ever had. The dough is absolutely exquisite. Now, the sauce to pizza ratio is also perfect. You don't even want to get me started on the cheese. Nice and stringy, great cheese pull when you take a bite. One of my coworkers is from New York City, this girl walked around the big Apple everyday after school eating pizza and she RAVES about this place. This girl knows some of the best pizza, and here she is raving about a little pizza shop in the heart of Canfield, Ohio. I knew it had to be good, so I finally tried it LAST WEEK, and since then I have gotten it THREE times. That's how good it is. If you're near Canfield, don't even mess around with anything else. You want a nice pie from Bella Napoli. You will thank me. There is also a lot more on the menu that I still have to try, which I will do here soon. The food is incredible. And the woman at the front desk was SO friendly. I watched a cook tell a family they will make a new pizza for free to accommodate for an allergy and he was super reassuring. Wow! The BOMB!We just had dinner at the Bella Napoli. We had the Italiano Pizza, and it was really good. The dining room was clean and had about 8 to 10 tables. It was very quiet during our visit with just a few people picked up pizza. Our very young waitress was very sweet, cheerful, and attentive. Everyone was very friendly during our visit. My only issue was the restroom as it could have been a little more tidy. When I came out of the restroom I could see the kitchen, and it was very clean. I decided to stay since the kitchen looked so nice. I'm so glad I did because I would have totally missed out. read more
