Local New Castle favorite for Italian food. It's not fancy, it's not gourmet, it's just simple and good. As you can see by the photos they put plenty of sauce. I've seen reviews with people complaining about that, but maybe they don't know why they give you so much bread! To me, mopping up that sweet sauce is a bonus dish. Nothing is over seasoned so heart burn or any sort of crazy aftertaste is not an issue. It's just simple Italian food in a simple environment. Go hungry because the servings are massive. The soups are my choice over a salad and those are great. Everyone I've been there the service has been wonderful and they good a job taking care of you. I grew up in New Castle but live out of state for years. I usually go her when I am in town visiting and I am sure that tradition will continue.

The food here was awesome and I loved the pizza The chicken Parmesan was very good, loved how crispy the chicken was The 12 cut pizza with meatballs was delicious too. I actually bought their sauce to take home because it was that good!!! It's sweet though just FYI. Would def go back! The ambiance reminds me of a VFW though so knocked a star down bc it's terrible inside

Just really good food. I wanted veal parm for lunch, after dialing around, thought of Pagley's. I'm new to New Castle and the folks I work with reccomended it. Inside it's a little plain. But had a nice lunch bunch eating so figured what the heck. Got the veal parm to go, came with ziti (I subbed spag) and soup or salad. Got the wedding soup (who wouldn't?). First off, the veal was great. Actual veal, and very tender. Nice sized portion. A lot of sauce, but when the sauce is this good, I'm not complaining. Bread that came with is that thick Mancini's Italian bread from Pitt. Seriously, just all around delicious. Again, a bit plain in the decor department, but what I wanted was veal parm, and I got that, delicious and everything!

Ravioli- they are huge!!!!Delicious!

Soni's, I discovered on my first visit there with the Wife for lunch, is pretty much always busy…read morefor a very good reason. The food is made, just, exactly, right. I got veal piccata over angel hair. It was great. (no bread brought to table, which wasn't the kitchen's fault) The caper sauce was very good. I like veal piccata every now and then when I go out for Italian. It's really more of a fusion dish from the 1300's, when Italy (which didn't exist yet) was on all trade routes. Veal piccata pre-dates the intro of tomatoes to Europe by a few hundred years, it's really a culinary window back in time, Italian food-wise. Anyways, loved the veal piccata. Linda got a burger with fries. In the future, I'm thinking I'm getting anything at Soni's that comes with French fries. Soni's fries were so much better than any fries I have ever gotten, anywhere, that other than just saying, "the fries were the crunchiest, crispiest, internal texture bestest, that I have eaten in my life French fries!", anything more is futile. I CANNOT tell you how great these fries were. IANK! (I am not kidding) Overall, I will be back at Soni's sooner rather than later. I want to try the artichoke dip for one thing. And the interior of Soni's is beautiful. They don't rush you. The waitress really was great, just overall, a place to "...sit back and enjoy a long, slow, Italian lunch." As my friend Vince Dinsio used to say. I know Mr. V would have loved Soni's too. Linda, the wife loves Soni's. I can't imagine NOT loving Soni's.
